~We seldom report of having eaten too little~ w/ PICS! ~ UPDATE: New Thread Started!

Welcome! My *next* trip (Sept/Oct 09) is 133 days away! Looks like we'll be there at the same time :goodvibes Where are you staying? We're at Polynesian Garden view Club Level from Sept 24th - 29th and then Coronado Springs Waterview from Sept 29th - Oct 3rd!

We're staying at AKL 9/30-10/4 and then moving to POP 10/4-10/12 because we're having a Grand Gathering and this is where everyone else is staying. However I keep going over it all in my mind and I'm thinking I want to just stay at AKL for the whole trip. But then we'd miss out on the late night swims w/ the family.

I know, I wish I could go earlier but we had to jump on the bounceback dates.

So far these are our plans but you know how DH is!

Arrival day - dinner at DTD, either T-Rex or WPE

Thurs - breakfast at CBR
lunch at HS (ick)
dinner at Cali Grill

Friday - breakfast at CBR or Main Street Bakery
lunch at MK
dinner at Tonys

Saturday - breakfast at CBR
lunch at Tangierine Cafe
dinner at San Angel Inn

Sunday - breakfast at Boma - although I am trying to get into TH instead
lunch at Flame Tree BBQ

I cannot wait to read your reviews and drool all over the pictures!

You have me confused!!!! :confused3 I thought you were staying at POFQ? When did you decide on CBR?

I'll be on an airplane on my way to MCO two weeks from today! :woohoo:

I promise that I will update with pictures this weekend :thumbsup2

I love live reports ... in for this one! Love the pictures from the Food & Wine Festival ... we are hoping to go next year! :woohoo:

I am a dining review addict - so I am along for the ride!! Looking forward to your reviews. popcorn::

My DH and I have to take a trip (without the boys) for the F&W festival sometime. Your pictures of the food look incredibly delicious!!

Thanks for sharing all the food pics. Looks like you have eaten at some amazing places!!

Enjoy your trip. :goodvibes

Thanks for reading everyone! :goodvibes

I'm a dining report addict too and I especially love the live ones! I think I am also going to take a page out of Lurkyloo's book and do a live blog from my iphone. Typically 3G roaming (as I am from Canada) is VERY pricey. But for such a short trip I might just splurge! :thumbsup2

I'll post the blog link here and on my TR (which is in the links in my signature) for anyone who wants to follow along. I love when Lou Mongello does "Where in the World?" so I might do a few of those as well.

The Food & Wine Festival is so amazing! Sept 2009 will be my 3rd F&W Festival and there will be many more to come.

My favorite booths and items from 2008 were:
Canada - cheddar cheese soup
France - escargot en brioche & pomegranate kir
Japan - Spicy Tuna Roll
New Orleans - Praline bread pudding
Italy - Baked ziti and chocolate cream puff
Australia - lamb and pepperberry prawns
South Africa - chocolate spice cake

We won't be doing the Party for the Senses this year, but we do intend to do Sweet Sundays. We will also be eating at Victoria & Alberts for the very first time. But all those reviews are 128 days away! :rolleyes1

In 11 days you will see
- Cracker Barrel (B) (not Disney, but YUMMY!)
- Pepper Market (B)
- Rix Cafe
- Siesta's Pool Bar
- Laguna Lounge
- Tambu Lounge
- Kona Cafe (D)
- Kona Island Coffee Bar (B)
- Liberty Tree Tavern (L)
- Ohana (D)
- Aloha Isle
- Main Street Confectionary
- Flame Tree BBQ (L)
- Harambe (where ever they sell the fruit, frozen lemonades etc)
- California Grill (D)
- Sunshine Seasons (B)
- Le Cellier (L)
- Chefs de France (D)
- Goofy's Cando Co.

Oh goodness....roll us home now :rotfl:

Hon, your F&W pictures are making it really difficult to wait 5 more months for me to pig out at Epcot! Thankfully I have 15 days until I can eat regular WDW food!

I know! They are making the wait till F&W so much harder! Don't you wish they had the booths out all year??

The only thing making the wait bearable is knowing I get yummy normal Disney food in less than 2 weeks.

Thanks so much for posting those F & W pics, it brought back wonderful, yummy memories from our Sept 08 trip, I can almost taste those Pepperberry Prawns now..... yum.
