Waterpark Solo?

Has anyone done a waterpark solo? Any pros or cons? I'm thinking of going to Typhoon Lagoon.

I just came back today from Typhoon Lagoon solo! This week is the first week that Typhoon Lagoon AND Blizzard Beach are open simultaneously for the summer season, the crowds were very reasonable (i.e. you could still find your choice of lounge chair). I solo there a couple times a week during good weather. I would highly recommend it, especially if your pass includes it anyway. I think the park is more fun with other people, but still lots of fun solo.

As a side note, I spent last summer at the beach, but I prefer the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon to the beach. The wave pool is a lot cleaner than the ocean.

The only con I can think of is that no one is there to watch your stuff while you go in for a swim or to the bathroom. You can rent a locker, but I usually just don't bring anything that I wouldn't want stolen. (So far it has worked; never had anything taken).

When you need some time to yourself to relax, Typhoon Lagoon is the place to be!

I've done both Blizzard & Typhoon solo...they are both great! The nicest thing is there is no one to drag you out of the lazy rivers.

I always do the water parks solo, since my family never has any desire to go there. It's a great place to go solo. The only very minor problems is that I can never ride the family raft ride, since you need at least two or three people in the raft (not exactly sure how many). Also there is a double inner tube ride at one of the water parks, and I can never do that, either. But there are plenty of things to do. I agree that not having a person to watch my stuff is probably the biggest issue - I always get a locker and carry my room card on me. So have fun!!!!

I did Typhoon Lagoon solo last August and had a really good time. I had one of those plastic key holders that was flat and I put my room key and car key in and wore it on me. I just charged everything to my room so I did not have to worry about soggy money!
