Hi Mo! I'm back and all caught up on your PTR! I haven't had a chance to watch the video yet, I don't think I should do that at work, might get me into some trouble. I'll have to try and catch it at home tonight.

I was so far behind there is just too much to comment on but I thought I'd add some to the pin trading discussion that was a few pages back. Now I'm no expert but I have been pin trading for a few years now so I know a little bit.

First of all, if you are buying a large lot off of Ebay for a small price, 99% of the time they are going to be scrappers. That being said, scrappers are trade-able. As a matter of fact, most pins you see on CMs lanyards are unfortunately going to be scrappers also. Once in a while I will find a pin that someone purchased at Disney and then traded but it's pretty rare. For me though, the fun is finding a pin I like and I personally don't care if it's a legit pin or a scrapper. (Yeah, I'll probably get some flack for that one.) I enjoy trading and probably have a ton of scrappers in my pin book but really can't tell the difference.

I'm looking forward to hearing all about the DIS meet! I really enjoyed seeing all the pictures on Facebook.

ETA: I forgot to mention that today was my 180 +10 day for my December trip and I decided I wanted to do the Wishes Dessert Party this time after reading about it so much on your PTR. But when I logged on this morning every day during my trip was fully booked. I thought maybe the dates just weren't available yet but then I read about other people getting reservations the week I'm going. I'm going to continue to check and hope for a cancellation.

Since i have not been at work i am TOTALLY swamped! today is my first day back and i caught a NASTY UGLY sinus infection!!!

I had a more over the top idea, but it won't work for the rest of your reveal plans. I'm going to share anyway - turn it into a car scavenger/treasure hunt. A clue in the envelope that gets you on the road to Disney with something for the kids to look for on the road, where you then give them the next clue - all the way until the final clue leads you to AoA. I know it won't work because you plan on the kids knowing where they are going before you leave and you want them to sleep overnight in the car, rather than staying up looking for a landmark to get their next clue. I'm thinking I'm going to use this for a surprise for my girls someday - probably not a Disney trip though since I'd never be able to keep my mouth shut about that.

I actually like the first, simpler version of the cards - maybe adding Happy Birthday to the first one.

Make sure you bring the box in the house and close the door before you open it!

i honestly don't think I COULD handle the clues i would be WAY too anxious to get them to the end!!!
i do believe the easier way might be the ticket!!

First of all - I love the U/S idea! I've always wanted to go, but it's not very budget friendly - more so if you have to figure out transportation. If you can make it work - that would be awesome!

since i have been so graciously nominated to write about the EPIC DIS MEET 2014 Chicago (feels like a MTV show...) i feel horrible about not starting it!!!
but I came down with one HECK of a sinus infection. it's getting slightly better. thank you all for asking!

Quickly: i do have to write my husband DID have a surprise B-day party for me On May 24!!! i was SHOCKED he pulled it off. i might write more on this later.. if i have time..

Lets get caught up to Wednesday May 28. The dreaded day i turn 40... BUT what made this Birthday is our WONDERFUL DIS MEET!!! it made turning 40 not only bearable but i totally forgot about the dreaded 40.

i did take off work they were making me crazy with the reports being thrown at me in regards to pot holes. i was, and still am tired of going through TONS AND TONS of data... my head hurts..
SOOOO i took my car in for a oil change (i knew there was going to be A LOT of driving..) cleaned the house did a ton of errands tried to clean the house before i had to run over to the airport.
thank GOODNESS it was midway... otherwise i might still be in traffic trying to pick them up.
off i go.. my phone is in OVERDRIVE between calls/text/facebook/ etc. it was hard to keep up!
i jump on the expressway (55) and DEAD STOP.

ok traffic- tired of looking at the new 40.. don't want to be reminded..

let the texts begin!!! D~ lands first i am in line to pick her up. No stopping standing at the curb... cannot stand here waiting. I tell the one TMA (traffic Management Authority) she is getting her bags right now. she says OK as long as she is on her way. YEP SHE IS.... i keep looking.. no D... where is she?!?!?!
another TMA comes and with the WORST attitude EVER! kicks me out. i text D. then i drive ROUND AND ROUND AND ROUND the airport.
no D.
she is waiting on her luggage. Getting dizzy from driving. i go to a parking lot. and wait.
Finally get the text she is ready. but NOT at the southwest pick up but at the first line of the pick up! OK.
FINALLY I SEE HER!!!!
I jump out of the truck and SQUEEZE her like my life depended on it. Gosh i missed this girl...
so you ask where the pictures are?

We have about 2 hours until SUZI and TESS arrive, we take a ride to find coffee. First stop. Corner bakery!!!

i don't know if it was the giddiness of being together or the amount of coffee but.. driving into the parking lot we are reminded of test track. the road in was just like test track! so i have to go 60 just like the ride... yes this is us together...

Awwww....yay, we're there! I loved our sign My luggage took forever too....I was starting to wonder if it would come. Thank goodness D got to switch her flight around. I don't think I could have dealt with not having her there that whole first night! But wait.....you told us you went for coffee. Coffee. Never was there any mention of a "corner bakery". What the **** where was my bakery treat??? I think the only pictures I have of the first minutes are of you and the sign...so I won't post those. I have some good ones of Potbellies though.
