Vibe??

Yes it sucks! All my friends turn 18 during the school year and I turn 18 in July so I can still go to the Vibe and they're all adults and they can't I wish Disney would let 18 yo who haven't started college to choose ): I guess I can see the thing with Minors and they're adults but still.. It would make bringing a friend soooo much easier! :confused3
Princess Kayla - I sympathize. I agree that Vibe is a more appropriate choice for many 18 y/o high school students. It is particularly challenging when traveling with a group of mixed 17/18 y/o's, separated by only a few months. I hope it works out well for you.:goodvibes

Thanks ^^ I could go after my birthday in July and take a friend then but I get the REST OF MY LIFE to be an adult lol and I will be taking more disney cruises lol. My kids (one day) will be Gold members by the time they're my age xD :rotfl:

The 18yr rule is strict - This is due to insurance reasons. An 18yr old is a legal adult. Same goes with Palo/Remy.

Further, it used to be in the past that you could go to Vibe up until midnight the night before your birthday, where CMs would escort you off. Now AFAIK, if you are turning 18 during the trip, you are already considered an adult and are not allowed in VIBE. On the other hand, you can dine at Palo/Remy.

Really, really good point. We always get so strung out on what we can't do, and it's so important to always remember it goes two ways. :)

Really? This girl in our first cruise (June 2012) they let her in until her birthday.. that's weird and If we go on the 28-4th cruise in 2014 then I will turn 18 the DAY we get back would that count??
