I saw on another post that someone mentioned using Southwest to book your car rental. I looked for my dates Feb 20-March 1. Alamo via Southwest is coming up at $285 but on their website it is $838!:scared1: If I book with Southwest can I cancel if I want to or am I committed to this rate? the only thing that makes me nervous is I have to give my credit card number now. Anyone booked through them before?

Southwest is just acting as an agent for the rental car companies, so the rental companies cancellation policy is in effect, whatever it is. To be sure, a quick call to Southwest would provide you with the correct information, rather than second or third party information provided here.

I called and FYI for those reading it is the same cancellation policy. What a deal! The cheapest I had been able to find was Dollar for $319, so $285 is a steal!
