Hi, If I use points to book DLP hotel rooms, will one room accommodate a family of five. Thanks
Most rooms accomodate a maximum of four people. If you have an infant who is under 3 years old then technically you can have a booking for 5 in a room.
Hopefully other DVC members will chip in but DLP is often not considered good value for DVC
DVC points are really bad value at DLRP. You can only book into the Sequia Lodge, Newport Bay, New York and Disneyland Hotels. The cheapest rates start from 23 points per room, per night and that's midweek off-peak! As Reid has said you'll need two rooms unless you have a little one under 3 with you.
Also, with DVC points, you're required to purchase length of stay passes. When we're there in October, we were only planning on visiting the parks for 3 days, and spending 3 days in Paris sightseeing. We finally decided the extra days on the passes was still cheaper than finding a hotel room in Paris. It may be 'bad value,' but in the long run, it's much less out-of-pocket money for our trip. (We also used DVC points for one of our ABD Viva Italia tours just before the Paris stay.)
I've just found the reservation points per night:
