Great compilation! The only thing I would add under the optional category is a small fan for those who find the AC no working as well as they would like. We found one at Walmart and took it on our last cruise. It was a life saver! We will always take it on cruises from now on.

Thank you for actually posting the list. It seems the DIS boards not only deleted the list, but also *****'d out the link someone else posted. I'm leaving in a week and although I'm a great packer (I have Word docs with separate lists for various types of vacations) this is our first cruise and I'd hate not to have something that's not easily purchasable onboard.
