Up grading tickets

My DD and her husband have 2 days park hopper passes for Fri and Sat but now are coming in earlier in the day and the rest of us will be at Disneyland for the evening. Is there anyway to upgrade their tickets to a 3 day hopper pass or do they allow that? Thanks

I'm sure it can be done, but they need to be prepared to pay to upgrade to a full price 3 day ticket. If that's what they were expecting, great! But sometimes if people have upgraded at WDW, where you "keep" the discount if you had discounted tickets, it can be surprising how they do it at DLR.
