Um... this is a red flag for renting, right?

I am inquiring about a rental at Windsor Hills, and one renter replied with the following:

"FREE VIP PASSES Feel free to call me i can explain everything to you , as of right now I do have these dates available everything is brand new , also by booking with me you get free VIP passes to all Disney parks which get your party to the front of the line for many rides no wait, we are the only ones who offer these passes, we also give you free pool heat, and if you need to rent a car we can save you approximately 60 % off a car rental, please visit my web site ****** for exact photos of the townhouse you will get , also be sure to read the reviews on the web site ,any questions feel free to call or email me looking forward to your reply"

So are they just lying straight to my face? VIP passes to all Disney parks to front of the line? Seriously?

Looking forward to our 3rd trip, so just getting back on the Disney wagon after being away for a bit - that's why I'm checking - maybe there IS such a thing and I have missed it.

Don't know could be a legit rental, but advertising something that you can get at any offsite rental, in my opinion is just marketing to people that might not know, I don't know if it is unethical or not... I could be wrong but I have never heard of any off site rentals that can get you VIP passes...

ooo, why don't you call? then report back here & we can all have a laugh.
curious though, since you can leave feedback on rentals, someone must have reported something about the front of the line passes...

I would totally call them on this. Since no such passes exist anywhere for anyone, I'd be very curious to hear their explanation of these magical VIP passes. There's no way I'd let that one slide without asking for more details, even though there is no way I'd ever rent from that person.

If you post a link to the listing, I'd be happy to contact them myself.

I'm going to guess that somehow the landlord has a line on a handful of CMs willing to "procure" re-entry passes from the attractions they work---these are the little paper tickets you get if you get walked off a ride; they generally good for a few weeks, and include FP access to any one of a group of attractions.

I would call as well. For me, it sounds a little too good to be true. The car rental statement is odd.

I was guessing the same thing and I would imagine if Disney knew they were being advertised they might be tracking down that CM and ....

If they were procured properly then you would be seeing many places advertising them.

Could it be those passes they give to kids who are too short but stood in line? I've seen those on ebay

Well, there IS such a thing as VIP passes, they are expensive, but they do exist. So its POSSIBLE that they are giving these, but I seriously doubt it.

You can buy them at Disney, so I am told. I believe they are exorbitantly expensive, something like $1000 a day? I have never done them, though.

Do you have any more info about them? Where do they come from? Who is able to get them?

Are you talking about maybe the VIP Tours? Which for this kind of access is around $325 or more an hour, 6 hour minimum.

Yep, that's what I am referring to, never looked at the costs or anything, just saw something about them a year or so ago.

Those aren't passes. It is a tour you sign up for.

There *are* VIP tickets at Universal that work as if you were staying onsite. Nothing like that at WDW.

We do the VIP Tours and it's between $350 and $385 an hour for a 6 hour minimum (We usually do 8-9 hours depending on the MM), if this guy is buying you a VIP Tour this is a great deal. I'd call and ask him.

This renter looks totally fine to work with. Check out all his VRBO reviews.

He's obviously not offering the Disney VIP tour run by a plaid. If you look at the reviews, he's giving the renters a AAA Diamond parking pass (Is that even a thing anymore? I thought Disney was discontinuing their relationship with AAA...) and some paper fastpasses. I wonder where he gets the FPs from though?

I think that's the same TH listed in 2 different places. (The furniture in the kitchen, MBR and living room looks exactly the same).

Obviously it's the same owner and same unit. That's why I posted it--so people could see it has good reviews.
