Is Tonga Toast only served at breakfast and if so, how late in the morning will it still be available?

    TIA

Yes, and I'd expect you'd be out of lack past about 10:45-11am.

Does the Tonga Toast at Captain Cooks come with the strawberry sauce that's served with it at Kona?

I asked the same question and was told no. The up side to Captain Cook's is no ADR and cheaper. Not sure if its worth it to me because the strawberry compote makes Tonga Toast for me.

    OP, sorry to hijack! :flower3:

The Captain Cook's menu on allears says that breakfast is served until 11am.

I know that I "should" know ... but what is Tonga Toast? I have heard it mentioned over the years ...

I could have sworn I got strawberries at Captain Cook's. Maybe it was with a waffle?? I imagine you could order it for the Tonga Toast also.

Tonga Toast is a banana stuffed sourdough bread that has been dipped in french toast batter and fried and rolled in cinnamon sugar. Delicious!

Does anyone know if you can get the strawberry compote from Kona to-go? (Then use it on the Tonga Toast from CC's?)

No, that's why there is a price difference.
