I really hope so but I have to admit I am getting so annoyed with him lately.

I love Artie and thinks he brings so much to the show, but the way he has been acting lately is really bothering me. He just seems to hate everyone and is so unhappy.

A lot of people are saying the whole fight was "staged". I don't think I believe that though.

Reports are that he will back on Monday. He said so at a Fire Department Union benefit last night (I think it was last night). I wonder if Sirius will allow him in the building though.

He does seem to be at the end of his rope. He is acting totally out of control.

Yes, someone please share. I was a huge Stern fan before he went Satelite.

He was having an argument with his assistant and pretty much snapped and threw a water bottle and went after the guy. A whole bunch of people had to hold Artie back and Artie said if he had gotten to him he wold have killed him.

I believe this is his 3rd outburst like this.

ME TOO !!! I sooooo miss that show. I started listening to Howard in 1987. I was unfortunate enough to have a long commute, and I had a radio at my desk... I got to listen the entire 4-5 hours for years.

It was truely the highlight of my day

I don't have Sirius, either, but my husband does, and told me all about it as soon as it happened (and then I read everything I could find online about it). I'm sure Artie will be back at some point, but I really think he needs to go to rehab and therapy. He's a mess right now. I hope he gets the help he so obviously needs.

I am so bummed. I gave up my Sirius subscription 6 months ago and I'm having major Stern and Whack Pack withdrawal. I love Artie and hate to hear what is going on. So, was the fight staged or not? Did he come back?

Since you are having whack pack withdrawal, I will also tell you the Kenneth Keith Kallenbach passed away yesterday or very early this morning. Details are sketchy, as he was in jail, but they are saying it was complications from pneumonia.
