hi. what is the tip policy for a 9 yo sailing on the 7 day cruise? Thanks :smokin:

Though you may question why you would pay full tips for servers and your stateroom host for a child, it is that exact reason why you will. Having just returned from our 5th DC, the entire crew worked so hard to make sure our 14 yo DS had a great time! Our stateroom hostess (Kitti) would show him how she made the towel animals, our servers waited on him hand and foot - made him feel just as "adult" as we were and treated him like he was a king. Since this was his first time with the "teens" in Aloft, we were a little nervous how his experience would be there -- well, we saw him all of about 20 min each day! The counselors were wonderful and he walked off the ship today as much a DCL loyal customer (and future customer) as he was when he first went at 8 yo! The "magic" has not worn off and he walk off today with many new friends whom he has downloaded all the pictures and sent to them. One girl who happened to also be on our plane home, talked to him about how hard it was to leave the ship and all the nice people they had met and made them feel special.

Your 9 yo will be treated like he/she is the most important child to the crew workers. In all of our past 5 Disney Cruises, we have tipped well OVER the recommended amount without hesitation.

As above. You pay the same amount for all in your party.
