We will be driving over to Port Canaveral the morning of our cruise. Our boarding time is 12:00-12:30 pm. Just curious how much time we should allow to arrive, unload bags, park, etc. and make our check-in time by noon.

Thanks in advance for all of the expert advice!

The drive is 45 mins to an hour from Orlando and bag drop takes 5 mins tops, from my experience. If you leave Orlando(I am guessing this is where you are coming from) i would leave at about 10:30. You are allowed to arrive early in most cases. pirate:

ETA: Just re re read your post...

If you plan to arrive at the PORT 30 mins early you will be set to arrive at the TERMINAL on time. From past experience, you can drop part of your party off and then go park, then meet your party at the check-in stand.

Heading from home, so it is about a 3 hour drive to get to Canaveral. We will probably be on the road 8:15 - 8:30 am, and get there around 11:30 am. If we leave any earlier, we'll hit rush hour through Tampa.

It depends on where you park. If you are paying $15 per day to park in the garage at the terminal, a total of 10 minutes to drop bags and park is quite sufficient. If you are parking off site, 20-30 minutes is more reasonable, at least for the driver. Of course, he can drop the luggage and family and then proceed to park and shuttle back. It would depend on which private parking place he was using (cost is typically $6 per day)
