Ticket upgrade help!!

hey! Please can someone explain upgrades to me! I've read the sticky by Cheshire figment and I'm confused!

Undercover tourist's biggest discount ticket is for a 3 day park hopper (4th day free) ticket which is $349.75-a claimed saving of $43 per ticket. What I can't find out is how much a gate ticket costs today if I bought a 4 day ticket at disney... So I'm going off their claim for $43 per tix.

DVC annual pass is $529 plus tax (so about $563 dollars)

So am I right in thinking that a price bridge SHOULD be about $170 per ticket?!? Saving the $43 per ticket on the price?

As I can't find the current hate price inc tax-I'm simply going off what UT are quoting.

Any ideas/thoughts out there?

What's annoying is that I was in the world last week where a dvc annual pass was $516 inc tax, which is about $48 less than it is currently.. Annoying that I could have saved this amount anyway havig. Bought them before the price hike.
Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated as I am slightly confused by the whole thing and I also realise that the bridging price is dependant upon the cast member at the time!!!!

Gate price for a 4-day PH is $392.99 inc tax. So you should pay the difference between that and the cost of the DVC AP price (inc tax) which, yes, is about $170. Don't forget to use the ticket at least once before upgrading in order to allow the price bridging. If you don't get the price you are expecting, try somewhere else. I have previously had good results at the EPCOT International Gateway Guest Services and at Downtown Disney.
