In 2009, all four of us had annual passes. In order to access the free dining promotion for spring break, I had to purchase one day tickets for all of us along with our package.

One ticket was put on each of our KTTW cards... but were never used.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me those tickets are still good. I want to bridge the boys' tickets to upgrade them to annual passes.

Forgive me for asking a ticket question. I know you hate repeating yourselves over and over. I tried to read the ticket sticky, I REALLY did. But I've been dealing with a sick child this evening... and we leave on Friday morning. :crazy2: I have no mental capacity left to try to weed through the sticky to find an answer.

    Thanks, in advance.

They should still be good. If I understand correctly you need to use them to enter the park first and then upgrade them so that you get the full value. Have a great trip!

Thanks! I just really needed some reassurance. I feel like I can't trust my gut these days...

well... that is not entirely true.

I trust my gut will get bigger eating Disney World food during the upcoming week!! ;)

I am certainly no ticket expert, but I thought I had seen some posts lately that said if a ticket was used up, it can't be upgraded. If you have a one day ticket, and enter the park with it, it is used up. You might want to read the ticket sticky - it would be awful to enter the park with those one day tickets and try to upgrade them only to find out that you can't! It might be more prudent to just upgrade before using them. You wouldn't get the price bridge, but would get some value towards the new AP's.

No, but the ticket does have to be upgraded that day. There is an exception for tickets that have names on them (such as those on a KTTW card.) You have 14 days to upgrade them, but you must show ID.

OP, use the ticket to enter the park, then sometime that day, go to guest services and upgrade them. Easy Peasy.

The last thing (entitlement) on the ticket is considered used up at the end of business for that day, not as soon as you go through the turnstile.
