Hello and welcome to my latest Pre-Trip report. This will probably be the last one for a while as I don’t have any plans to go back to WDW till 2017. Of course everyone that knows me says there’s no way I’ll make it that long so we shall see.

For those who are new to my reports, my name is Ariana, I’m 41 and I live outside of Atlanta, GA. Here I am with my favorite guy in the whole world.

I am married but my husband, Jim, is not a huge Disney fan. He has gone a few times with me but does not have the urge to run back the second we get home. Once every two or three years is fine with him. Here we are hanging out with Gaston.

We don’t have any two-legged kids but do have four four-legged babies.
Our oldest guy is a schnauzer named Eddie. He’s 13, completely blind (lost both his eyes to glaucoma), and is going a bit senile. He’s still my baby though, we’ve had him since he was six weeks old. Because of his dark coloring, I have an awful time getting good pictures of him so this one is a bit old. You can see in the picture that he still had one eye when this one was taken.

Next in line is Alex. He’s 8 years old and a Schnauzer mix. His Mom was a pure-bred Schnauzer who went for a walk one day and came back pregnant. He is the first of our babies that “followed” me home from the Animal Shelter that I volunteer at. He is a complete Mama’s boy and is almost always somewhere near me.

Sierra is our 4 year old Schnauzer and she is 100% Jim’s baby.

Our final baby is Remy. He is the second one that “followed” me home from the shelter. We brought him home to foster over Christmas last year and he never went back. He will be 5 in December and is a Yorkshire terrier. He and Sierra are best buds and like to beat the snot out of each other daily.

This upcoming trip will be my fourth in 2014 and my ninth since 2010. Prior to that I had gone six times so this trip will be #15 overall. In February of this year, we did a huge family trip to Disney and my cousin got married while we were there. In May, Jim and I did a quick weekend for the Flower and Garden festival. TRs for both of those trips are complete and are in my signature if you care to go back. My third trip for 2014 just ended last week. It was a Mother/Daughter trip and we had a great time. As soon as I get my Photopass pictures straightened out, I will be starting a TR for that trip.

So a little more about this trip:

Who: Me, me and me! This will be my 2nd solo trip and I am really looking forward to it. While I love going with other people, I find solo trips to be very freeing. If I decide to ride Space Mountain four times in a row at 10 pm at night, I can go right ahead and do it (I really did do that on my last solo trip).

What: A Disney trip of course.

When: November 29th – December 7th, 2014

Where: Preferred Room at All Star Movies with a request to be in the 101 Dalmatian section. I’ve stayed at the other two All Stars and at POP so after this trip I will only have AOA left to try in the values.

Why: Well, I bought an AP this year so I wanted to get the most use out of it. Plus I really wanted to see all of the Christmas stuff again. Mom and I did Christmas in 2012 and I’ve been dying to go back again. I had this trip planned for mid-November but when Mom asked me to go back with her in October, I moved the trip forward a few weeks so they weren’t so close together. Not that I would have minded but I think my boss would have.

Finally, about the title of the PTR. As I stated above, Pluto is my main man. I have loved him for as long as I can remember. I have several Pluto souvenirs that I have had my whole life. So this trip I’ve decided that I’m going to wear nothing but Pluto gear and try to meet him in all four parks. Surprisingly, I’ve never met him in either Epcot or MK.

Up Next: A Trip Into My Crazy Love For Pluto

Before I start to tell you about my plans for each day I thought I would take you for a little trip into the madness that is my love for Pluto. You see, I collect Pluto items and have been doing it my whole life. I have an entire room in my house for my collection. I recently had to add another set of shelves so when I did that, I took photos of everything. It's going to take three whole posts to share all of the photos.

So come along with me as we round the corner and enter the room.

Well, actually before you enter, there is this picture that my aunt got me when I was in college.

I have two sets of shelves on the one wall. The CDs are all Jim's and I don't think it's going to be very long before I will need to kick him out of the room and add more shelves in that spot.

Close up pictures of all those shelves and the pictures above them.

In the corner next to the book shelves is a small bar with a sink. We really don't use this basement room for anything so of course my Plutos took over this area. Oh, and you've probably noticed by now the random Donald here and there. He's Jim's favorite.

A rocking chair sits in between the two sets of shelves and contains several Pluto stuffies plus a few other random characters.

In front of the rocking chair I have a bean bag left over from my college days and it is occupied with my largest Pluto. I got him at the Disney Store many years ago.

On the far wall, yet another set of shelves. We used to have a TV in this room but never watched it so the Plutos took over that spot too when the TV went to Goodwill.

Close ups of those shelves.

On the back wall of the room there is a ledge that runs the whole length and there is an end table, couch and the new set of shelves I just bought.

I have a pin cabinet along the back wall that you can see is totally full.

Overflow of the Pluto pins are in my pin case.

Just a few Disney items on the couch.

The end table has another set of shelves above it.

This next shelf is probably where the most money is tied up. All of the items came from Arribas Brothers and if you’ve ever priced things in that store you will know what I’m talking about.

And the items on and under the end table.

Pictures next to that last set of shelves.

And a few more items in front of Jim’s other CD case.

And that’s the end of the tour. Hope you enjoyed looking at all the pictures. I sure do enjoy sharing them!

Here!!! Whoot!!! Loving all the Pluto pics!!!

D~

Oh Boy! Will I make page one??? Love all the Pluto gear...I even saw a few familiar things on those shelves (gifts from me and Carrie)!

And I must say...it's about time you got another solo trip. :rolleyes1 After all, Jim sort of invited himself along on the last one you tried to plan. :sad2: Non-Disney lover...yeah right! :rotfl:

I'm here and ready to read all about the plans for your solo trip! Holy smokes! You weren't kiddin' around when you said that you have a large Pluto collection. I'm impressed!

I'm here and ready to follow along! Jeez! That's a whole lotta Pluto! We have a Mickey themed kitchen but we don't have that much haha.

Hi there, of course I am joining in! :goodvibes Always love seeing pics of your adorable pups.

Excited to hear the plans for your solo trip. I've gotten so used to always having a report of yours to read that it's strange to hear you say you won't be back to Disney for a while after this!!

Wow your Pluto collection is something else! Very impressive! I also love all the non Pluto stuff thrown in there, I spotted a Sleeping Beauty snow globe that looks so pretty with the fairies flying along the side

I'm excited for another PTR, especially when it's for Christmas at WDW!! :yay:

I love your collection! Maybe I missed it, but I think I may have a Pluto that isn't in your collection. My Mom and I went to Disney World for a Mother/Daughter trip the Christmas before I got married and she bought me this giant Pluto who is a pajama keeper--his belly unzips and fits grown up pajamas inside :) He is has the softest fur, and I still sleep with him sometimes when my DH isn't home!!

Can't wait to hear all about your plans for Christmas at the MOST Magical place on Earth!!! pixiedust:

I'm here (finally!). That is such an impressive collection of Pluto things, I don't know how you keep track of it all! :faint:

I'm here! :thumbsup2

Okay, I'm totally jealous of your whole Pluto room / shrine. I just have a few shelves of Donald stuff, because at some point I told myself I needed to stop buying so much because I didn't have the space for it! :lmao:

I'm here. Sorry for being late but we are having internet problems.

Your Pluto room is AMAZING! A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!!

Congrats on having another trip in the works.

I'm here am i first?!?!?!?

Yes you were! Find yourself a first place medal somewhere on the internet as I don't have the time to search for one today. :rotfl:

I'm subbing; be back to read later.

Hi Kathy! Thanks for hopping aboard.

Here!!! Whoot!!! Loving all the Pluto pics!!!

Hi D~! Glad you enjoyed the pictures.

:thumbsup2 Here we go :woohoo:

Ruthie! Can't wait to see you in a few short weeks!

:scared1:  :faint:

To say impressive is no where near the correct term.

popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn::

Thanks, I'm pretty sure I have a collecting problem. :confused3 :lmao:
