I just had to call the number....and it wasn't anything. Just said my call could not be completed at this time :( I had to call it! LOL. Anyways, love the Sci Fi! So fun in there. It's one of my earliest Disney restaurant memories. I remember thinking it was so cool to sit in a car, watch cartoons and eat. Awesome! The cat who hates people is a good one. I also like the kitchen of the future.

Glow cubes are fun. And love the cup! We got some a few years back because we were randomly chosen for family of the day! They had caramel popcorn in the cups and we also got a certificate. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. :)

Definitely catch Voyage next time you're there!

I honestly can't imagine having a bad or even sub-par experience at Sci-Fi, so I suggest you try it again someday! Who knows, maybe you just got some bad luck at that time.

I really want to try that carrot cake cookie after seeing it in Jess' TR!! Yuuuuum!

Omg! What year is it, because I have a Birnbaum's kids edition from I think 2002? Or 2003. I can't remember. But I used to treat that thing like it was the Bible. Seriously, I learned soooo much from that book before discovering the DIS. That is so cool that you were in it!

On the daily thing... I seriously don't know how fans who live in the area resist going to Disney constantly. I remember someone saying that once you move down there it's not as fun. And I can see that because it would be weird for Disney to be a regular every day thing, but at the same time I can never imagine it getting old. EVER.

haha YAY I'm glad I can spread the Cat Who Hated People love! It's funny how much stuff you and I have done b/c we found it in each others TRs.

I did go back to Writer's Stop the next day! One word: YUM!!!!! Okay, two words: YUM and WOW!!!!!!!!

I agree! I would be so fat if I lived in Orlando and I would not even care. It would be worth it. I would happily spend time in the gym burning it off if I got to eat Disney food all the time!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! YOU'RE AT DISNEY WORLD RIGHT NOW!!! My jealousy cannot be contained!!!!!!!!!! I hope you are having the most magical trip ever. :smickey:

I can't imagine a Sci Fi milkshake tasting like a Frosty. That is horrifying and I am sorry you had that experience!!! Who knows what happened. Maybe you just got a crappy one made the wrong way. Mistakes happen. I've had many a milkshake there and each one was just unbelievably, astronomically perfect, so do not give up on them! Vanilla is the best one, in my opinion.

Hi there, you're on the Trip Reports board, your question would be more appropriate in the Theme Parks, Attractions, and Strategies board. However, you can just google "Disney crowds march" and you'll get a ton of info! :thumbsup2

Aw man! I was hoping it was some amazing Sci-Fitastic recording Disney set up. Ah well. That's so weird, it's very rare for Disney to just randomly leave something like that around. I think I may ask a CM about it next time I am there. Maybe the number signifies something.

That is so awesome that you were chosen as family of the day! I would totally freak out. Did you get to ride in the parade?

I know I was hoping for something too...it is weird though that they would have a random number posted. Maybe it only works if you're there? :confused3

No parade for us because we were just family of the day at Sci Fi, not MGM. Oh well. We were all happy! :)

We ate at Sci-Fi last May and enjoyed it. I think that lots of people do give the place a bad rap for their food, but we enjoyed what we had. Also, our server was so nice...he gave each of my kids one of those Sci-Fi cups filled with caramel popcorn. They were so excited to get them.

Day 2, Part 5 In Which I Am Covered In Tequila

Hey everyone! This is probably the shortest time in between updates ever... but I have just been in one of those crazy Disney moods where you miss it so much you are almost hysterical, so yay! An update!

Just a funny story... I was REALLY obsessing over Disney today, like even more than usual, I even cried over it... TWICE. That's just me. So later on my mom and I went to Ikea. In the parking lot I noticed something Disneyish sitting in an abandoned shopping cart right near where we parked our car:

It looks like something that maybe you'd put on a table at a kid's party or something?? I don't know! The characters are attached to thin wooden rods, so I think I'm going to stick them in soil once I get some pots to plant flowers on my windowsill for the spring. Ahh! It made me so happy!

Anyway... let's get on with it!

When I last left you, my mom and I were waiting in Hollywood for the boat to to the United Kingdom.

    We obsessed over the ducks:

As you may remember, our April 2010 was PACKED with duck sightings. And not just sightings, full on incidents. Baby ducklings ate my popcorn, a massive duck family stopped traffic at the World Showcase, Mr. and Mrs. Duck were quacking at us outside our door at Pop, on and on and on. Well, it's a spring thing I guess because we saw almost no ducks on this trip and no ducklings at all! :(

Though the boat takes a long time, I enjoy the ride as long as we're not in a hurry to go somewhere. It's a very relaxing break in between park touring, and we definitely needed to allow some digesting time after stuffing ourselves silly at Sci-Fi.

After stops at the Swan & Dolphin, Boardwalk, and Beach Club, we disembarked at the International Gateway and headed into the World Showcase. I prefer going into Epcot this way because it's closer to the hot foreign men, and that is always where I want to be.

We found ourselves in the land of the best bands...
The United Kingdom! And whoa, I don't remember it being as crowded as it looks here!

Of course, we stopped into the pub immediately. My mom wanted to enjoy a drink and I wanted to enjoy the view and the accents.

This was the first time I had ever been in here, and WOW it's awesome. I don't know what I was expecting, but it just feels like a normal bar somewhere, not a Disney bar. People were doing shots of whiskey and stuff which was so hilarious to me. I would never dare drink whiskey at Walt Disney World. It would cause me to do some really UN-Disneyish things that will remain nameless. My mom wanted to try one of their special beers so she asked what the best one they had was. I paid no attention because not only am I not into beer, but I was looking around for a Paul McCartney lookalike.

Unfortunately, I did not find my Macca doppleganger on this or any other night of the trip! Not even a good Townshend or Richards look alike. To be honest, this didn't matter much because of the accents. I chatted with both bartenders about what is good there and what people order the most. My mom did end up with a special beer she said was quite good, but I have no idea what kind it was or what the boys told me, I was too distracted by the hot accents.

A+ Trip Reporting right here, folks. Look no further!

Next, we hit up Canada. I saw Le Cellier and my soul cried. Then, we headed up the stairs and into the store to check out some meese and beavers and stuff.

This is a fine store. They had a lot of moose merchandise, many of which featured them wearing very little clothing.

Every store should have things like this. Get on the ball, Disney.

They also had more disgusting soaps!!! You may remember me featuring Beaver Breath and some others in my last TR. They have added these two:

Obviously, this is the classiest shop in all of the World Showcase. Take that, France! Who wants a beret when you can have soap that has a photo of big foot with a rose in his mouth on the wrapper? Seriously.

ALSO: Notice that on the Dog Team Drool one, it says that it doesn't actually contain any dogs or drool, but on the Sasquatch one it doesn't say that it doesn't actually include Sasquatch sweat!! YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST: BIG FOOT IS REAL AND SWEATS TO MAKE THIS PRODUCT!

They also had something I haven't seen before in here, a Canada Quiz! I did not know the answer to any of these questions because none of the answers were Ryan Gosling.

I wanted a margarita, so off to Mexico we went, stopping to ooooh and ahhh at the pretty tree:

We went to La Hacienda and I ordered a frozen margarita:
It was alright. Like, for a margarita, it was good. I'm a bad judge of it because though I enjoy drinking and very much appreciate its effects, I hate the taste of 90% of alcohol. The only alcohol I really enjoy the taste of is wine. I wanted to try a variety of things at WDW, though, so I tried to branch out a little. It took me a long time to drink this, you can't really tell here but it comes in a BIG cup, much bigger than any normal bar would serve. It didn't get me drunk at all though, so it's not like it's that much tequila. I wasn't thrilled by it. To be honest, it just turned into a burden because carrying around an ice cold glass of something you aren't even that into is annoying. Also, you can't go on rides while holding a drink, and I think everyone knows how important it is that I ride Maelstrom at least five times a day. So my review of this drink is: Get it if you can bare to skip Maelstrom.

We went into the pavilion where gazed lovingly at the wood carvings I obsess over but never buy:

These were my two favorite wood carvings this year. I wish they were less expensive, even the small ones are like $50! One day, I'm sure I'll get one though.

I feel like we were in here for a long time, but I have no more pictures! I remember us looking at EVERYTHING though, and trying to get on the ride, but because of my giant marg, we couldn't. God, this margarita was keeping me from Disney's best rides!!!!!

We were mostly just wandering around, enjoying the atmosphere. I hardly have any pics cause I was holding my massive drink. Do you see what I mean?

I love this shirt I saw at one of the outposts! That alligator sure looks hungry.

In Italy, we stopped to sit for awhile. And by that, I mean I wanted to spy on the Tutto waiters and choose which one of them I was to marry.

My mom said she wanted to check out the drink menu at one of the stands and so we walked over there.

To my absolute delight, a cute Italian CM approached us and engaged us in a conversation immediately. He was from Milan and said that he didn't want to go back to Italy because he loves it in the US and at Disney. He started trying to convince me that Italian men were extremely more respectful toward women than American men. He said to me that he hopes he can marry an American girl one day and live here. He then told me I was very beautiful.

OH. What an interesting combination of thoughts that was!

You can't just say stuff like that to me when you are hot and Italian. It just doesn't work that way. So of course I had a reaction that would be more appropriate in the screenplay of a comedy film than in real life, but what else is new?

So you know how if you are drinking something with a straw and you blow into the straw, it makes bubbles and if you do that too hard, the drink will splash up and hit you in the face?

I was taking a sip of my margarita at the time of him saying this and I did exactly that.

I don't even know HOW I DID IT? I think I was trying to giggle at his American wife comment but I forgot to remove my mouth from the straw.

    It was typical.

And you know what, it would have been bad enough if it was a normal drink but it was a yellow/orange slushie.

    LIKE, COME ON.

This is why I will probably never have a hot Italian husband. Someone who isn't covered in yellow alcohol will get one of those.

He was nice about it, turning around and handing me a napkin, but it was over at that point. There is no way to gracefully wipe a margarita off of your face and shirt. You just have to do it awkwardly and hope you don't die of embarrassment.

    I survived. Barely.

My mom talked to him mostly after that, since I was too busy blacking out. She actually had a frumpy moment too where she forgot Milan is all about fashion and started talking about it like it was Rome, and the cute Italian was pretty confused. He probably thought we were dorks or idiots. Or both. Then he started listing all these places that we'd never heard of and I just felt like a moron. But then he brought up Marcianise, which is where my grandfather was born and where I have distant relatives! So I was able to save face a little bit, but like I said, I blew a yellow margarita slushie onto my own face. There is just no recovering from that point.

Up next: A visit with a dear friend.

I think the one that I was in was like the 2006 version. I don't know... somewhere around there. But OMG I know, it was like my Bible too. Absolutely OBSESSED. I got my first one when I was in 2nd grade and continued collecting them all throughout middle school. They were beautiful. I should go get the most recent version just because I love them so much.

Yeah, people say that. But I think we are special cases. We have such a good mindset that I don't think we would EVER get bored!

Oh my God we seriously reccomend SO much stuff to eachother... and it's great!! I tried so many things because I read about them in your past trip report and I just loved everything! And I notice details so much more now thanks to you!

    --------

This unexpected update KIND OF just made my day. And umm... I have been in a super crazy disney mood this whole WEEK. Because like, when I'm at college it dies down a little. And now I'm on break and I went SLDIUFDHJKSAKDILCJKBSDFLZIKAJDKHSDHFJAJLHFDJ DISNEY! So basically... we're Disney twins.

:thumbsup2 I know what you mean.

It's weird to think that a "normal bar" type place is located right in Epcot. You would never even know!

BAHAHA Canada IS the frumpiest country, after all.

That drink is not worth it if it's effects lack drunkenness AND prevents you from going on the Maelstrom. Just... No. not okay.

Swoon, swoon, swoon, swoon, SWOON!!!!!!! :cloud9: Omg I would have been like... oh yeah, let's get married right now. PERFECT! You're italian, you work at Disney, and you're hot. You're a winner. :rotfl:

Hahahahaha oh Lia. :rotfl: That's so funny. Because I would TOTALLY do something like that too and I can just picture my own personal reaction. Hahaha I bet he still thought you were beautiful, even with margarita on your face!! :p

Dang, that drink was causing PROB-LEMS.

    frumpy. teehee. :-)

Great update!! YAYYY! Can't wait for the next one!

p.s. in the "up next" portion, I read "deer" instead of "dear." Wow.

AHH Ikea! I love that store. I could just wander around there for hours and try to pronounce all the Swedish words. Haha.

Lucky you! What a great find. So exciting. Good idea to use it for flowers. They'll be cute.

Love walking around World Showcase and looking at the shops. You always seem to find the most interesting and fun things! I don't know what it is but don't you just love being at World Showcase at night? It's just magical I guess. Love it!

Uk Pub is one of my favorite bars/lounges at Disney. It's just fun. Always loud and exciting. :)

LOL LOL :lmao: :rotfl2: I'm sorry but your Italian story is hilarious. Right? You have to look back at it and laugh. I would be so embarrassed too, but then you just have to look back at it and laugh. Oh goodness, what are the chances? That's certainly something that would happen to me too. At least he was sweet about it and got you a napkin. :)

Ah yes, your sign from the Disney gods. It really is one, you know. That's a cute idea!

Oh gosh those soaps! I don't think I want to bathe in the sweat of anything or anything.

Hahahah okay, the slushie thing. That is something that would happen to me (and it probably has)! You go from playing it cool to suddenly wanting to die. Just in a matter of seconds. It's unbelievable. It reminds me of a certain scene from Friends when it's the Thanksgiving flashback, and fat Monica is drinking her Diet Coke and Chandler says something that makes her laugh, and she like chokes on her Coke. :rotfl: yeah...

Aww, I'm so happy to hear you notice details more cause of my TR!! So many people don't get it. and of course I already have stuff from your most recent TR that I know I have to try, like La Hacienda and the red bean ice cream and Sanaa. All food of course!! haha

I love how you were in a crazy Disney mood all week and then found out that you were going!!! AHHH!!!

"Hahaha I bet he still thought you were beautiful, even with margarita on your face!! :p"
You're so sweet, but I was the same color as Bert from Sesame Street, so I don't know about that. hahahaha THE WHOLE THING WAS SO FRUMPY. Perfect way to describe it.

LOL you are so funny with the deer thing. Cracks me up every time.

"AHH Ikea! I love that store. I could just wander around there for hours and try to pronounce all the Swedish words." That is exactly what we do every time we go. :rotfl:

I agree, WS at night is absolutely magical. It's always been one of my favorite things, there's just something about it. :cloud9:

Don't be sorry, I think it's hilarious too! I've learned to accept and enjoy the absurd moments of my life instead of being embarrassed by them. And he helped by being really sweet!

    I hope it is!

I don't want to bathe in sasquatch sweat either but still I am tempted to buy one of those. Is that crazy? LOL.

HAHAHAHHHA I know what you are talking about. Oh how I love Fat Monica!!!

I know a TR will be good when it starts with a screenshot of Queen Stacey! :thumbsup2

"It was alarming...which is the entire point of an alarm." HAHA I'm cracking up already! :lmao:

I agree...McDonald's "Egg Product" is questionable and disgusting. I've never seen a Grade A egg that looks like that. Maybe like..Grade F! Bazinga!

I think you sum up the feeling of finally arriving at Disney World and the overwhelming emotions perfectly! :goodvibes

Oh my, the story about the bus driver and the little girl had me seriously tearing up. HOW PRECIOUS. :lovestruc

I tried the Lapu Lapu a couple of trips ago, and it was SO strong. Which, in retrospect, I should have known considering it's 151 poured into a hollowed out pineapple, but still. :scared:

I fully support your Culkin theory. Have you seen that movie The Good Son where Macaluy (how on earth do you spell his name?!) is a psycho murderer child? Two Culkins- awesome movie.

R.I.P, Hula Timon. I like to think that ne snuck off and he's living in Cinderella castle with Bo Peep. I always suspected she was sneaking around behing Woody's back. I have a really long/creepy past trip story where I convinced myself I was Woody's girlfriend, and this is exactly why. He's too good for Bo Peep. We all know what word rhymes with "Bo," amiright?!

You're so right about The Magic, The Memories, and You. The digital projection blew my mind! When they turned the castle into a gingerbread house I was losing my mind. :hyper:

Your confidence with TSM is great! I am the same way. I would like to point out that my husband is a weapons specialist in the freaking SPECIAL FORCES and he has yet to beat me on TSM. We are awesome.

I love that you stopped to admire the details at ToT! I try so hard to notice everything, but there's still so much I've missed!

AHH I love the Pixar Pals parade! It's amazing, and I love watching all the Disney dads dancing without even realizing they're doing it!

I love that alligator shirt! I hope they still have it in July... :rolleyes1

Okay, I am in love with your TR and writing style. How have I not read your stuff before? It's seriously amazing, and you are hilarious! I can't wait to read more!! :yay:

Don't you just love Rose and Crown? I love that there is a real bar, right in the middle of Disney World! :cool1:

Haha, I'm kind of obsessed with mooses (yes, I know, that is incorrect, however, it sounds cuter than saying "moose" when you mean many mooses :)) so I love all the adorable merchandise they have plastered with mooses in Canada. :goodvibes

Awww, I'm so sorry about the incident with the Italian guy and the margarita, that is so something that would happen to me. :rotfl2:

OMG!!! I freakin LOVE Fat Monica! I wish she was fat all the time! "It's NOT mayonnaise!" Ahhh, I love her! I always thought Courtney Cox should have won an Emmy for being Fat Monica. Didn't Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow win one for Friends, but not poor Courtney Cox? Not right. :sad2:

I thought I had commented on some of these, but I guess I didn't? Maybe I'm making things up?

    Oh well.

I love how positive everything is in DHS. You oughta be in pictures - you're right, I should! I am awesome and thank you for reminding me, park!

I love all the details in Tower of Terror - or, more accurately, reading about them online (since I never have time to find all them?). I'm happy to spot the glasses from the Burgess Meredith library episode (my favorite and the only one I know well enough to pick up allusions to/props from. Seriously how do people find all these things. Especially from before digital cameras were so prevalent, did they just stand in the ToT line all day and memorize everything in line and then rewatch all of Twilight Zone?).

And the DisneySea version looks so cool! The story's not quite as cool (but it's a neat idea, to take the ride but change it so significantly for the parks. I wish a lot of the "copied" rides in DL/WDW/DLP were more like this) but the themeing!! And the building is just so fancy!

So jealous of your Good Wife experience. I really need to catch up with the current season (it's on the DVR.. somewhere...). What were you working with (on?) on the show?

Have you seen those new soda (Coke, I think) machines where you can make all the different flavors? A restaurant in town just got one and it'll mix any base Coke product (lemonade, Coke, Diet Coke, etc., etc.) with all sorts of flavored syrups. The strawberry lemonade seriously tastes like liquid Pez. It is seriously life-changing (or so I think. Our friends are less enthused. I'm sorry but freshly syruped drinks are VERY IMPORTANT).

The cat who hates people is my ultimate gpoy, I think. Minus the whole moon part. More the utter frustration with everyone in his immediate surroundings.

AAAH MOOSE PUNS. I mean, real moose scare the bejeesus out of me but fictional ones are great!! Brief moosage. HA.

My only cell phone trivia knowledge is that Nokia comes from Finland. WHERE IS THE SCANDAVIAN TRIVIA BOARD, EPCOT??? Why must you keep me from being great?

Ugh, I hate really big drinks. They're so annoying because they just go on forever and they usually aren't mixed thoroughly. I just want a new drink!!

I don't know, I'm pretty sure the slushie incident has been used in multiple romcoms as a meet cute. Still hope!

Awwww... the things you find in the most unlikely places! I had a very similar instance this past week. I was walking outside from school and down on the sidewalk was a Walt Disney World pen. I completely flipped out! I immediately stopped and picked it up, getting some weird looks from my dad and my sister lol I don't care, it's a DISNEY PEN!!! AAAHHHHH!!! The things we DISers do.

    On to the update...

OH I absolutely love the Disney ducks especially the ones that are at World Showcase! I'm pretty sure they have become a new attraction that's why CMs don't make a big deal about them. They are just the greatest things ever. Disney ducks <3 But sorry you didn't get to see many of them this time around, but at least you got pictures of the ones you DID see :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 to calling England the land of the best bands, it is just so true! Without England, we wouldn't have geniuses like Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney. ::yes:: LOL @ your infatuation with the accents, so funny.

Oh those soaps from Canada are ridiculous (BIG FOOT IS REAL?!?!) ! I really need to check out that gift shop there, they look like they have some awesome stuff. "I moose wake up" :lmao: Greatest shirt ever, even though I think people shouldn't be so cranky in the morning :sad2: My war against morning crankiness aside, that's so cool they have trivia about Canada in the stores. More reason to check out this store lol

Ooooo... that tree really is very pretty! :goodvibes Sorry you got stuck with a drink while on your way to riding Maelstrom a bazillion times. The moments, where you got to remember to think ahead ;) :thumbsup2 to the awesome wood carvings, Disney does really need to lower those darn prices :/

LOL @ your little situation with the margarita spillage! If I was there, you would've had no chance with Mr. Milan. I would've just fallen off the chair, ledge or whatever you were sitting on and looked like I was going into a seizure. It's seriously impossible for me to go anywhere without making a scene. I'm considering entering a hash tag on twitter about that lol But that's great anyway you got to talk with this guy and bring an interesting memory along with you afterwards

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

SCIIIIIIIIIIII-FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!! I'm can't wait to go back in July. There's been a gilla monster-shaped hole in my heart since 2010.

Did you have to ask for the souvenir cup w/glow cube or is it on the menu? I kinda really need one of those in my life. Also, do you think Sci-Fi would give me the number of their cherry goo supplier? I could really use some of that stuff. I can't have caffeine, so I had to give up Cherry Coke 6 years ago since they don't make a caffeine free version. It's tragic. If I ever suddenly develop a strong singing voice and try out for American Idol, my pre-audition backstory piece will involve me crying about having to give up Cherry Coke as sad music plays in the background. I mean, some contestants live in tents/have dead family members/grew up in a cult/got bullied in school, but I can't drink Cherry Coke. TRAGEDY. :sad2:

I'm pretty sure The Cat Who Hates People was written as a cautionary tale just for me. I always threaten to move to a deserted island because, like that cat, I also hate people. Clearly, this would be a bad idea.

Why are those ducks black? Is that like a thing? I guess it's just one more bird to add to the list of Flying, Beaked, and Feathered Animals that Creep Me the Heck Out. Normal ducks are still cool, but these black things? Strange.

What did the Sasquatch Sweat soap smell like? I'm dying to know. After watching Finding Bigfoot on Animal Planet, I've decided that, when I'm not theorizing about ancient aliens or bidding on abandoned storage lockers, I will be joining the hunt for Bigfoot. Knowing what his sweat smells like should help.

Yes, blowing a yellow margarita on your face is a dealbreaker in a comedy, but not in a romantic comedy! If your life was a romcom, he'd find it adorable. :thumbsup2

Yay, thanks so much for joining in! :welcome:!!!!!!!

    :welcome:!!!!!!!

Yikes, I didn't realize the Lapu Lapu was so strong. I guess I figured it would be more fruity, like more of a novelty drink. Hmm. I'm not so keen on getting it now. Especially at Ohana. Strong drinks + tons of food = YIKES.

Of course I have seen The Good Son!! Omg. That movie is crazy. And so good. Just like every Culkin movie. :thumbsup2

"We all know what word rhymes with "Bo," amiright?!" :rotfl:

Wow that is amazing that you would kick your husband's butt on TSM! You go girl!! Who run the world... GIRLS AT DISNEY ON TOY STORY MANIA.

You're so sweet, thank you! Glad you're joining in, since obviously I love your TR as well.

Yes, I do! It would be nice to eat there if you felt you wanted a break from super Disneyish things. I'm not sure how crazy I'd be about the food though...hm.. reviews anyone?

hahaha I kind of want to buy some of the half dressed MOOSES merch and display it in my home just b/c I think that would be funny for when people come over.

Don't apologize.. it made a great TR story! :dance3:

I think the entire Friends cast should have won Emmys at least once during the 10 year run. Overall I think the show kinda got shafted. I mean, awards don't matter, but still. The kicker is, they were all nominated at different times EXCEPT Courteney! She never even got a nomination which is INSANE b/c she was so amazing in that role, as Fat Monica and just Monica. UGH.

Regarding Tower of Terror: I bet it's mostly people who are obsessed with the show. Like I said, I would totally recognize anything from Friends, so I can understand someone who has seen every Twilight Zone episode several times pointing out stuff right away!

I agree... I like our ToT story much better, the same goes for our Rock N Roller Coaster VS the one in Paris. Kinda lame!

Well.. the first Good Wife episode I did was back in Sept of 2010, Miranda Cosgrove was in it. I think I did like 5 more over the next year. I've never watched the show but I'm pretty sure I've worked with the whole main cast. I really like working there, it's a lot of fun and the wardrobe people are cool which is SO IMPORTANT because I hate when they make me wear something I don't feel comfortable in like I'm actually going to be noticed or even shown on camera. And the food is really good. They have the best catering I've had besides Boardwalk Empire.

It is SO WEIRD that you just brought this up because I literally just saw those soda machines yesterday at the Regal Cinemas on 42nd & 8th and was freaking out because I'm trying not to drink soda and be super healthy so I didn't get any. But I am totally going back because it was the coolest thing EVER and I agree it is very very important!!!

Yeah, I don't get the point of big drinks. Why would you drink a huge alcoholic drink? If you're drinking just to enjoy something tasty and refreshing why not get something non-alcoholic? And if you're drinking to get drunk/tipsy, why not just do a couple shots and get it over with? LOL. I just don't enjoy alcohol. Thank God for wine or i'd be screwed.

Ahhh I want a meet cute to happen to me. I don't know where John Cusack is right now but I'm upset that we're not stumbling over each other in Central Park or something. A girl can dream.

That is so awesome you found a WDW pen! Yay for us finding Disney things!

It's okay, I'm sure I will be back to Disney for a spring trip sometime soon (I am hoping to go for my birthday NEXT April, in 2013) :thumbsup2 and there will be tons of ducks and more importantly, baby ducklings!! :goodvibes

It really is true. I mean, I love America. We're great and all, but we didn't breed The Beatles.

I will definitely think ahead next time before doing ANYTHING that may stop me from riding Maelstrom over and over until I pass out. I may name my next TR "Why Ride Anything Else?"

:rotfl: Yeah it's a fun memory even though it was a bit of an embarrassing moment. I love talking to the CMs from all around the world even if I do end up blowing a tequila filled bubble up into my face.

"There's been a gilla monster-shaped hole in my heart since 2010." :rotfl: Please marry me or something?

Yes, they are on the menu and YES you do need one. I am so sorry you have to live without Cherry Coke. You are such a strong person, I don't know if I could make it through that. But the goo Disney has is 10x better than Cherry Coke anyway. Also, if you go to any restaurant with a bar, they may have it. I've asked at places since coming home and a lot of them do. Cheesecake Factory does. It's not as good as at Disney, but nothing is.

Yeah, don't go to a deserted island. You may end up turning into a plant or something and we all know the cat didn't seem to enjoy that too much.

You've never seen black ducks before? It is, in fact a thing, but the ones we saw were more dark blue/grey and a little shiny.

Hmm I don't think I smelled it. Or did I? If I did, it wasn't memorable... since I don't remember.

My life is definitely a romcom though. It's just that I'm not playing Meg Ryan or Reese Witherspoon. I'm the forever alone yet witty friend!

Isn't it weird that there are people out there that aren't obsessed with Disney and can just live their lives without constantly planning their next trip??? I can't. stop. obsessing.
