I peeked at your TR from last year and I love your disney bucket list. There are several things on my list as well that you noted like a Holiday visit for the Osborne lights and to have some beignets at Port Orleans.

Isn't it a great feeling to be able to experience so much on an impromptu outing to MK? Having the whole Under the Sea ride to yourselves and walking on to Enchanted Tales - so awesome. And the visit to Ariel's Grotto was absolutely adorable.

Thanks Dave. I was surprised that new FL was so light on the crowds but I guess that is what you get when you arrive an hour before park closing. Sure made it easy to mark those things off our list the first time we were in MK during this trip!

Bonus Content.... A Dismeet at D-land!!

Em and I had the pleasure of meeting up with Linda67 yesterday at Disneyland. We were also spending time with another friend of ours at the park so it was a special treat to spend a day with these lovely people!!

We didn't meet up with Linda until noon so I'll skip over the morning activities and get right to the exciting part!!

Our meet up photo shows that we are happy to be here!!!

We went on HM and PotC together....

See the Dream Suite up there.. if anyone wants to know what that looks like see here. No, I didn't stay there but I did tour it a couple years back.

Then we had lunch at Rancho del Zocalo...

No surprises here... a kid bean/cheese burrito meal for me and a Sonora burrito for Em.

Remember how I posted photos of the new line of cosmetics by Disney called Beautifully? Linda hadn't even read that and look what she purchased for me...

And a lovely bag from Harrods all the way from the UK!

Following lunch it was Star Tours time!

Then we shared our castle with all the other park guests!

Linda discovers the secrets of Snow White's Scary Adventure!

The evil queen is quite nosey peeking out that window!

We also did Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blaster. Ignore our scores - they are incorrect since we were definitely Galactic Heros!!

Our only other activity that night was unpacking and losing each other in the room! I kept calling for Em, Where are you? & never thought I'd lose a kid in a hotel room! Em ended up sleeping with me in the King bed since it was so wonderfully luxurious and the view of the Boardwalk from the bed was incredible. We didn't get into bed until after 1:30am due to the fact that Em was doing a school assignment in the living room and I was getting our belongings organized in the room and taking a ton of photos.

Ugh! Well now I feel sooooo bad! I could have GLADLY helped fill up the suite with the girls had I but KNOWN you had two beds not being used!!!

Whenever I think about staying in a deluxe someday, I struggle with the best location. You can't beat the monorail resorts, and for some reason there is something extra Disney about them. Maybe because they were the originals. Have you stayed at either GF or Poly? But it also sounds so cool to stay at one of the Epcot resorts. I think it would be neat to overlook the Boardwalk. And then Animal Kingdom. Too many choices! Looks like I'll have to be doing a split stay like you whenever that time comes!

Great that you crossed off the FLE rides off the list so early! I love that picture of the castle all lit up at night!

It sounds like heading to the MK for a little Fantasyland Fun was a great call!!! That is awesome that you experienced everything without crowds!

Yesterday my husband asked me if there are any great trip reports that I am reading (there are several, this one, MEK's and many others), but I pointed him to Dr. Jones and the Adventure of the Spitting Camel, since he has never been to WL, but we want to visit, there is a YC component, as well as Hard Rock, where we will be staying in July. He won't comment, but so far he is enjoying it!

Brenda- not sure I can point him to this one. When he sees the YC Admiral's Suite, I'm afraid of the thoughts that will go through his head!

I have stayed at the Poly - years ago, but not the GF. For my preferences, I like the Epcot resorts. I visit the "original's" to dine and we do stay at BLT by the CR, which is an original but I prefer YC/BC or Boardwalk. But then again, I do a split stay since I still can't decide where to stay and I get the best of both experiences. All that to say ... I'm really no help!

You're right, the Little Mermaid ride is identical, but boy that FL queue is something else, maybe better than the ride.

I'm still debating whether to go to Enchanted Tales by myself, but I really do want to see the effects. It looks so cool.

I agree with the queue. Makes you want to wait a little longer in line rather than walk on.

Here's my adviced for Belle's Enchanted Tales - volunteer to be the prancing horse! It will be priceless! After the show you can let Belle know that you are available for some park time with her.

Brenda- Jill and I will be out the Yacht Club in August when we visit and all of your great pictures are getting us very excited for our trip .... The Captains Grille looked good, we have a breakfast planned there on our day off from the parks during our trip.
