I have been working diligently On the binders.. I will be done with Meg's today. Once i have the first done then i can just tweak it for the boys. THen it's onto the MOVIE! yep i am making another home movie of our past trips.. AM I NUTS???

It will be for the NIGHT BEFORE DISNEY when we are gearing up for the trip!!! CANNOT WAIT!

Since you like to do surprises for your kids...have you thought about doing the coupons that you can request here on the Dis (you're talented enough, you could probably make them yourself) for your littles? Here is an example of them

WOW! I have been a busy little bee..

well i should say nothing new. I have fun stuff going on with Job #2. i have a few things i need to get done for it.
Then i had a friend from Germany over for the night! She is ADORABLE and i just love her to pieces!


I didn't have to work yesterday so figured we would go to the national park. Matthiessen state park beautiful waterfalls etc, and walking... and stairs.. LOTS AND LOTS OF STAIRS..
I can walk miles, without issues. Bring in stairs and i am DONE FOR. my knees just cannot do them like i used to.






I will have the real pictures done SOON and will post.

sadly NONE of the waterfalls were flowing! I don't know why as it had just rained that morning!!! Oh well. we will go again.

Matt did count one set of the gallizon stairs we did.. 140... that's ONE SET.. we did several going into the caverns.
I hate stairs.

Can't get over the fact that the kids are in 5th grade. Those throwback pictures when they were teeny tiny just melted my heart (especially Meg).

thank you.. I so MISS this. Going through mommyhood you just live in the moment day by day but when looking back? Kills me! so i try to remember each moment. They crack me up.

I love football... The kids have their first scrimmage tonight i hope they do well! Plan on taking the camera out to get some great action shots..

The Disney Rash



Painful, swelling, burning rash that i don't wish on anyone.

I had figured with my weight loss (43 pounds) this wouldn't happen again.. I was WRONG. The other day i was at Job #2. I didn't have the normal socks i wear there and was wearing nylon dress socks.
I came home and the rash was there. brutal too. Swollen burning etc. Which made me think. This stupid rash has EVERYTHING to do with footwear.
when we went to Great America i wore flip flops for the first half of the day. I was FINE. the second half i threw on my socks and gym shoes and again i was fine. I had a great pair of socks on.
as soon as i wear a crappy pair of socks, or socks that go over my ankle with whatever shoes i get the rash!!! SO! I need good socks the short socks no where near my ankle, and gym shoes for Disney!!! I plan on doing the same thing. wear my nike flip flops then change into my gym shoes for the duration of the day! I am still experiencing with socks and shoes I do NOT want this to happen again. I am still trying to get the swelling down from the bad socks a week ago!

When i go into the Doc for my thyroid i am going to discuss it all with him I drink more water then any normal person and still getting swollen? that can't be right!?

That looks painful my friend. I'm not sure what that is all about. I can't imagine you drinking any more water (I drink water nonstop at Disney and have never had that and I have thyroid issues as well). I can't wear flip flops to Disney...just can't handle it. I now where those little socks that just cover the foot...I forget what they are called. They are like little slippers, but very thin (I got mine at Costco and Target) and they keep my feet from getting overly warm too.

THIS!! That is one of my #1 reasons that I love Disney! You don't know how much weight your kids have on there shoulders until you see them relax be just a carefree kid!

They look so excited to be going back to school! Ethan was whining under his breath as he was walking away from the house on his first day, LOL. They do grow up way to fast!! I love the baby pics!

I believe the long term campers start their decoration change over on Nov 1st. Prior to that, they have all the Halloween decorations up. So even if you don't see all the Christmas stuff, you may get to see some Halloween stuff in there too. I am thinking by the time you go on Nov 7th... most of it should be changed over, though.

Man oh man. I was going to launch into talking about "Disney Rash" which I've read about elsewhere on the DIS... People reporting redness and swelling on the lower legs, either during or right after visiting Disney. But with you having it at home now too, I can't imagine it's the same thing. Regardless, my sympathies! I hope you get to feeling better soon, honey!

Also... Disney lets me be the carefree child I am too, and I'm 34.

That looks very similar to a rash I was getting. I now have prescription cream I keep with me at all times. We were also gone when I first got it and I itched it raw in the middle of the night. I also got out on water pills for the swelling. I have no idea why but Ive noticed a huge difference since I was put on them. Good luck! I wouldn't wish that on anyone and definitely not at WDW. Oh I love football season too! DS is too little for the flag version here and thats all we have. I am excited that both he and his sister and doing soccer this year! Something to go watch!!!

Hey there! Yes, I have already bought my MVMCP tickets. I actually purchased them when I made my package reservation. This will be my first Disney Party so I'm not too sure how quickly they sell out, I know there are certain nights that sell out quicker than others but I have read the Tuesday and Thursday parties tend to be a little less crowded.

We will have to a Dismeet that night.
