The Split Personality Trip Report - Updated 12/16 Day 9

Yet everything you did and was able to do is fantastic!!!

Thanks! I just felt very "scattered" if that makes sense. I normally have a plan of attack, and even if we divert from that plan, the new plan is usually at least logical. I did not feel like our travels either of these days were logical.

did she cry when she saw ariel?
That girl needs to BE ariel!

Of course she cried. And I did not post the picture of her and Ariel using their dinglhoopers together (not a real flattering picture of Sabrina so I chose not to post it) There will be more on the "she needs to be ariel"...

HA! Barnstormer! yes! this is a kid favorite..

We thought it was funny, because as soon as she got off she yelled: Again! and threw her fist in the air.

I have to agree they order all the food and not eat.. Did they pay you back for any of the meals?

My sister did pay for our BOG lunch later in the week, and she picked up some snacks, and it really even isn't the cost so much as the waste! I do not mind getting anything if they are going to eat it. Just to get so much and not eat it bothered me for some reason....you know there are starving children in India as my mother used to tell me.

YES we had the same growing up... and i raise my kids you took it you eat it...

Day 4 (Part 2)

We decided to go over to Dinoland so Zoe could ride Triceratops Spin. Well unknown to us, it had went into refurb sometime between Saturday and today! They tried to take her on Primeavil Whirl, but she was not tall enough. So at that point we decided to head out of the park since it was fairly close to closing time. We did some shopping and took some more pictures:

Great update! I am a bit behind because I have just got internet back after not having access to it for three weeks. I have moved and we did not have our internet hooked up. I just wanted to post how these two pictures are great ones! I really like your Animal Kingdom shirt you are wearing in these photos. Did you make it your self or have it made or did you buy it somewhere?

It appears as if your day at EPCOT and Animal Kingdom was a nice one for you all. I will get caught up the next few days.

I would be a little crazy without internet for three days! But then again if I was unpacking from a move, I may not notice it too much! I hope it was a smooth, good move for you and you are getting settled into your new home.

Someone made the shirt for me. This was the only one that I had an idea of what I wanted. around the neck of the shirt. She came up with the tree and Africa (complete with hidden Mickey).

Figment is NOT at Akershus...we just headed to Land of Imagination as our first stop after breakfast.

Zoe is a cutie pie!

AK was actually really low crowds. The pictures in front of the park are right by the bridge that funnels all guests coming and going. But as you can see on the picture of EE, there was little to no wait for everything.

Oops lol I must have read your update too quickly or something and I thought Figment was at Akershus...that would have been cool lol...but at least you got to see him!! Glad the crowds weren't as bad as they looked in that one pic!

Great update and I love your pics with the princesses...especially Cinderella...so pretty. And Zoe with the Tink topiary..love it!!

Great pictures! You guys are a really fun bunch! I love all the different personalities on your trip! Sabrina...she is a riot! Her crying is so sweet and funny, especially the way in which you describe each episode...hilarious.
I agree, Ohana is one of our favorites too...and you've reminded me we have to visit another place we haven't been to in a while...Akershus! I'd also like to try WCC. It seems like so much fun. I hope I can trick DH or my sister into asking for ketchup and lemons.

And Aurora with the scary eyes:

Its Cinderella in the background that is scary in this one! :rotfl: She's missing a head!!:rotfl2:

First up…FIGMENT! I LOVE FIGMENT
:figment::figment::figment::figment::figment::figment::figment::figment:

(did you notice my shirt for the day in the pictures?)
Yes I did! and I Love it!

We arrived at AK and it was probably about 12:30.
So apparently we DID end up in the same park at the same time!

:headache: We are in the very far back left of this shot. (You can only see our backs) I can't believe we didn't see each other!!! The very annoying thing about this is I think I remember seeing you take this picture and stopping and questioning myself and then moved on because I didn't think it was you. :headache:

Instead, I could not believe that everyone (except me!!) was hungry! This was not in my plans. Since Flame Tree was still closed, we opted for Pizzafari.
And again, we ended up at the same place at the same time and didn't see each other. :headache:

The place was a MADHOUSE! A complete and utter zoo!
::yes::::yes::::yes::

Well unknown to us, it had went into refurb sometime between Saturday and today!
Huh well I guess its okay that we skipped walking over there then.

UT, what did he have with him? A very YUMMY orange shake!
:cheer2:

And she promptly stood up, rolled the waist down on her shorts so he could see her Mermaid bikini bottoms that she was wearing under her shorts (not sure why?) Anthony just kind of gulped and stuttered um…I don’t think you are supposed to show those to strangers… and he turned a very dark shade of red!
:rotfl:

The funny thing was every time Anthony would check in on us and he looked over to Sabrina’s side of the table, he would lose his train of thought and turn beet red. It was adorable.
:rotfl2:

See I took another food picture!
:thumbsup2

As soon as we pulled away from the dock, Sabrina realizes where her phone is…yes still plugged into the outlet sitting on the bench.
What a phone debacle that whole situation was! :headache:

Yes I beat the crap out of Matt on this one…
Good for you! :thumbsup2

I love all your pictures!!! GAH! i cannot wait to get back there!!!!!

Me either! We are considering going next late Oct-Early Nov. Maybe in hopes of catching both MNSSHP and MVMCP!

So many magic shots!!! I need to ask more often on our next trip.

I did a google search on magic shots and found a blog that listed them all...and I made sure to ask every PP photographer if they had any!

There used to be a Figment meet & greet right outside of the ride. I had a picture with him on my phone at one time, but lost it in a new phone transfer! And thanks! My sister has sent me some more pictures, so I need to get some of them uploaded.

WCC has been one our "must dos" every trip. We normally do dinner after a water park day. It just has really worked out for that scenario. But this trip we skipped the water parks.

Now I'm going blow up the picture! It is a Small World After All! :)

Some pictures that my sister sent...and she clarified that Haley rode teacups not her. :)

I hope to get the next update soon...it helped talking to my sister and going through our pictures together to figure out what we did the nest day

Great update! I have to agree with you, I would have been frustrated with someone ordering appetizer and a meal and then not finishing either one.
It is wonderful that Matt was able to retrieve the phones! I know things like that happening really throw kinks into the trip and make people awfully grouchy with each other. Glad it turned out okay for you and was only a minor setback in your day.

The Barnstormer is lots of fun! My daughter loved this ride as well. We rode it near the end of the day, and since there was no line, they let us stay on and go around about three times without getting off. Zoe really seems to be enjoying the trip! I just love all her cute expressions in the photographs.

Funny...I don't think I realized that Dumbo is over water until I saw your pic!!

She really liked Barnstormer. She even wanted to ride it again the next day, only there was a long standby line then. I really love the less posed pictures of her...especially the one on the TTA and the side shot of her (she was looking up at Rapunzel I believe at the time. Kim said she asked her if she wanted to go back to WDW, and her response was , "Yes, but I don't need to meet any more princesses" LOL! She did get to meet just about all of them this trip. I think we missed Anna, Elsa and Tiana....that was it.

The original one did not have water (I think). The new ones do. They have neat fountains that people have some really pretty pictures of ...most taken at dusk or nighttime...and when I went back and looked at the picture, I think they need to do a little refurbishing on the bottoms of the pool of water!

TOO FUNNY about Zoe saying she doesn't need to meet any more princesses! So, that means you will have more time to ride all the great rides. Did you guys ever get to ride Peter Pan? That and It's a Small World are STILL my favorite rides to this day! OF course, Test Track and Soarin are up there on mu top five list too.

We did get to ride Peter Pan and It's a Small World. Those are in my next update! I LOVE Soarin'...but not a huge fan of Test Track, although we did not go on it this trip, so I have not seen it since it has been redone.

Day 6 (Wednesday, May13th)

Today is another Magic Kingdom day! But this morning we have to be at the park by 8 am because we have breakfast with the Princesses again…this time at Cinderella’s Royal Table. I had eaten here back in 2004, and was not really impressed with it. I reluctantly booked it because I knew Zoe enjoy the Princesses and everyone else would enjoy being able to go inside the castle. Zoe getting ready and watching Sabrina get ready:

Today we are up at an okay time, but we are still rushing to get to the park on time. This was a girls morning. Matt opted for staying at the resort this morning. Here are some pictures from the bus ride:

We ended up making decent time on getting to the park this morning. We made it through the gate check (the line was rather long here, but it moved fast). We got to the check in area at the castle and were called in pretty quickly. We did have a little bit of a wait to get our pictures with Cinderella. First up was me! We had a nice conversation about my shirt and she asked if the mice helped me make it because Suzy and Perla are very good at that. And how I really needed to keep an eye on Jaques and Gus-gus. It was really fun. I truly enjoyed myself here.

Next was Zoe, Haley and Kim:

Next was Sabrina…looks like they were discussing shoes at some point:

When we finished with Cinderella, we were escorted up to our table. We all sat down and were served OJ right away. We also gave our server our drink order and our server gave us our pastries. These were much better than they were in 2004, which surprised me. We were all trying to decide what entrée to get. As I have mentioned before, I LOVE traditional scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. But I really wanted to try the French Toast. What to do? Ask about ordering both! I explained that I really wanted the traditional breakfast, but wanted to try a small bite of the French toast. Our server said that she would bring an extra one out. So I had both! Haley had the lobster crepes, Kim had the traditional breakfast and Sabrina ordered the Healthy option because she thought it had oatmeal. When our food came out, Sabrina realized that the hot cereal was 10 grain and not oatmeal and she would have no bacon. She asked about it and they explained it was not oatmeal and asked if she wanted something different. She chose to keep what she had but had them bring her some bacon…which they ended up bringing out a huge amount of bacon. Everything was WONDERFUL! Our OJ glasses never got half full before they were being replenished. A few of us had coffee and tea too. They were also kind enough to give us each a sword and a wand. We had the added bonus of seeing Jasmine there this morning too! Here are the pictures from breakfast:

When we could roll ourselves out of here, Haley and Sabrina headed for a DSA (only it wasn’t one they found out). They did get some of these really cute pictures by the wishing well:

We headed to Peter Pan’s Flight from here since it was our first FP+. We all enjoyed this. Then it was onto It’s a Small World. They shoved all five of us in one row. This normally would not be an issue, but one of my big problems is not being able to bend my knees well. This ride really, really hurt my knees. I will have to make sure I am in a pretty empty row if I ride this again. Zoe liked this one a lot. I had to take pictures and send them to Matt…he said he was never going to ride this (he avoided it this trip, but I will get him on it eventually).

At this point Sabrina decided to go do some more Sorcerer of the Kingdome Game and to look through some shops. (she may have done this before we rode IASWAA, but I can’t remember) Kim, Haley, Zoe & I went find something to drink and took a bathroom break. Then we headed on to Haunted Mansion. I was not sure how Zoe would do on it, but she did great!

We then waited for Sabrina. When she finally met up with us, we headed over to Pirates. It was now Sabrina’s turn for a potty break so she was going to meet us over at Pirates. Well, she got lost. She did find a Lord along the way who asked her to the ball:

And she also found the Pirate League:

When she once again met up with us, we went on Pirates, and all had fun. Next up was Jungle Cruise. This is one that when you have a scooter, they basically write you a paper FP to come back in whatever the current stand by wait time is. So we had some time to kill, so we did Tiki Room. This is one of favorites…not sure anyone else enjoyed it.

When we finished with Tiki Room, we went on Jungle Cruise. I of course laughed hysterically at the jokes, while everyone on the boat looked at me like I had three heads! No one else seemed to appreciate the skipper’s humor. As we were exiting the boat, Zeo refused to take skipper’s hand and took a tumble head first out of the boat. She was not hurt, but it apparently scared the heck out of and had her crying.

Once she calmed down we decided to head to our ADR at BOG for lunch. I have to note here, I asked several times if people wanted to pre-order, but I was told that no one else remembers me asking this! So we headed to Beast’s castle, and stood in the very long very slow moving line to order food. (And it was 2:15 in the afternoon!) While waiting for our turn to order Zoe fell asleep, and poor Haley had to carry her because we had to leave the stroller outside. We had Sabrina and Haley order first and go find a table. Kim and I finished up ordering and went to find them. We found them in the main ball room, where Haley was still holding a sleeping Zoe. So I suggested we move to the room with the bench seating. We had no trouble finding a table where Haley could lay Zoe down and she could eat. Our food was quickly delivered. Kim and I split a Roast Beef Sandwich and fries. Haley had the croque monsieur with fries and Sabrina had the Braised Pork. Sabrina was the only person who really liked her meal. I thought it was just okay. Nothing special. Kim and Zoe left before Sabrina and I finished up. So they headed to the bus. Sabrina and I took our time and took some pictures in the restaurant. Then we headed back to the hotel. When we got to the bus stop, Kim and Haley were still there waiting for a bus. It seems they got a little sidetracked on the way out.

We got to the hotel quickly, and I think once Zoe woke up they went to the pool. I did laundry. And relaxed. I was tired. We did not go back to the parks tonight. We just hung out in the room. Tomorrow is Kim, Haley and Zoe’s last day in WDW. What will we do?
