The BBQ is very good. We had done it in 2010, and really liked it. We are currently thinking about doing a Christmas 2013 trip, and we might do Goofy's or at least one character meal, as Seth will be old enough to (hopefully) enjoy it by then. We haven't done Goofy's before, but really enjoyed Surf's Up, so haven't decided yet.

Life is in limbo. I am so tired of not know what is going on. We are waiting on an appointment with the urologist. He had two bad test in a row. I decided against Goofy's this trip in favor of the BBQ because it looks so good to me.


A Christmas trip in 2013 sounds great! Seth should be old enough to really enjoy it.

I need to be honest with you my friends. I totally "borrowed" this idea from another. Thank you, Camille.

The first time I went to Disneyland I was seven years old. We were in Garden Grove for my Uncle Bill's wedding to my amazing Aunt Julie, smartest thing he has ever done. When she heard that we had never been to Disneyland she couldn't believe it! Her new nieces to be had to go, after all it was a way of life for her. So she took us to Knott's Berry Farm and Disneyland.

To me Disneyland was a magical un-real place. When we got there I was flabbergasted. The parking lot was bigger than any I had ever seen. I mean Safeway's parking lot was never so big. When we got to the ticket booths they got these ticket booths and the grown ups had a discussion on what rides we would use the tickets on. Frankly I was so thrilled they changed the tickets.

When we got on Main Street I was amazed. I was in another world, every where I looked there were happy people and happy sounds. It was great. Honestly I don't remember a whole lot. But what I do remember is so vivid. I will add more later. Laundry is calling my name.

Borrow my ideas any time!! I love hearing about everyone's first trips!! And I looove the DL sign picture.
As you know my first trip was to DL, isn't walking onto Main St. amazing!!??!!

I tend to read the YA books because unlike a lot of women I know I am not into this 50 Shades of Grey book series.

WBG and I went to the range to shoot today. I had never shot before. It was a lot of fun and we will be doing it again.

It is a lot of fun!! My first time going to the range was with my hubby and two other couples. We had a couples night and went shooting.

I am seriously considering the possibility of cancelling this trip. Scotty is having health issues and I think that perhaps we would be best to stay at home. I don't have it in my heart to plan the trip right now. I will come back to it when I can.

Yes, I am back on here. I haven't cancelled the trip, and I am not going to unless something unforeseen happens.

I can hardly wait for this trip. It is something I have really looked forward to. And after all of the stress we have been dealing with it will be good for us all. If all things go the way I plan then Simba will have braces for the trip and there will be some really fun photos!!

Braces photo's are fun. I always take pics of them getting them on since they can't control how silly they look with that thing that keeps all their teeth showing. I say.."Smile pretty for Mama!" If they could give me the #1 salute I'm sure they would!

I don't get it! I also didn't get the whole Twilight thing. My daughter Kody read Twilight when it first came out. She was 13 at the time, I was in the hospital at the time and he dad let her get it. She did not like it. She felt that Edward was too controlling and a stalker for being in Bella's room watching her sleep. Wise girl my daughter!

Scotty wouldn't let me cancel it. He wanted this to be a complete family trip but unfortunately our 19 year old Kacy has decided that she doesn't want to do a family trip. Sigh. They all grow up but she has been so different and down right disrespectful to her dad and I.

I am praying as hard as I can. He was back to the Dr today because he has been so fatigued and it worries me. They ran blood tests and I was reviewing them online earlier and his potassium levels are high.

Oh Sweet Judy Blue, I know how crazy busy your life is!! I am frustrated and I am also lifted because I know so many people care. Everyday I consider cancelling the trip because I have lost the spirit and the fun of the trip. Hopefully this latest thing will get Scotty's Dr on the all and to push harder to get him into see the specialist.

Princess Dot was distressed because her partner was not going to be there and she would be forced to hang out with her brother Simba or worse yet WBG and I. Oh the horrors!! Well, the other day it hit me that we could invite one of her friends. So we invited my BFFs daughter who loves all of the rides that Princess Dot does. Now I need to come up with a nick name for her. I am considering Rapunzel but I am not sure. I'll let you all know when I know for sure that she can miss school. I hope that she can.
