Hey there! I have been lurking on your trip report for a while and I have really been enjoying it! My mom and I also take trips to WDW each year, so your reports give me warm fuzzies lol!

Oh wow, that stalker lady sounded really scary! I am guessing she was all by herself? I wonder if she got to meet Luke that day. LOL something tells me she wouldn't have left the park until she did!

if she was obssed with luke, them maybe she was standing there staring down the princess cause she was mad that her and luke had a thing.

and wanted to give her a beat down

your pictures were really really cool

Hi there! Thanks for saying hello, it is great to hear from those reading along. Don't be shy about posting! :goodvibes

The stalker lady was indeed by herself and very creepy. I don't think there is anything wrong with being a fan and dressing up for the occasion but she took it to a whole other level! You will see more of her in later updates don't worry. :rolleyes1

:lmao: Yeah, but you know you would think she would chill out since they turned out to be twins and all. Not really a threat. :rotfl:

Great stuff! I have never been for SWW! I also have never been on Star Tours...but I plan to remedy that this trip!

Eeh, Star Tours is not a must-do for me. The only reason I wanted to ride it that day was in the hope of the ride-along with the characters. It's always good to try everything at least once though!

    Cool pics, Lessa! :thumbsup2

I'm not a Star Wars fan at all, but Andy is. I suspect he would love SWW - but I'll never tell him they exist! Bwahahahaha!!! :stir:

Looking forward to hearing about your cruise part! popcorn::

    Poor Andy!

So glad you enjoyed reading along! Yep, Mom and I had a great time even with all the rain and foot maladies. ;)

Yep, there was definitely something with Alek and Erich missing from the trip. They always add a little something to the action that Mom and I just can not replicate on our own.

I often forget to "suck in the gut" when I pose for picture. And I'm like :"oh man!" lol

After getting my picture with Jedi Mickey it was time for me to grab some lunch and head back to Mom. I wasn't feeling too hungry so I decided to just get Mom food. She is a fan of the curry they sell at the ABC Commissary and I was right there so that is what I got for her. I grabbed her a spoon and fork, stuffed them in my pocket and then I was on my way back. Well I guess at some point on the walk back the utensils fell out of my pocket so Mom had to go get some more once I arrived.

While she was gone I saw the High School Musical Show arriving in front of the hat so yes normal park events still take place during Star Wars Weekends, just in case you were wondering.

Once back she chowed down on her curry, yuck!

20 minutes until the parade was due to start can you guess what happened? Well if you have been paying attention to the "theme" of this report it should be pretty easy to figure out. ^_^

At first it was just a few drops, uh oh, so we pulled our ponchos on just in case. Good thing we did as it started to pour just a few minutes later.

Luckily it was not a long rain and it stopped in time for the parade.

Now are you ready for picture overload? I took a lot! Mom also took video of the parade. Star Wars Celebrity Motorcade. That's right they can't just call it the Star Wars Parade they have to call it the "Celebrity Motorcade".

Now it is my understanding that many of the people who participate in this parade are fans who own these costumes themselves and travel to participate in the motorcade.
