    This seems like excellent advice.

I'm in the same boat. I waited too long to book my week at the Swan - April 20-26 - and now the night of April 24th is unavailable. I did some research, and found a pretty big conference going on from April 22-25, and figured rooms are being held for that event. I keep hoping that rooms will open up as the date for the event gets closer, but until then I have two backup reservations.

One is a split stay, 4 nights at the Swan and 2 nights at the Yacht Club...not ideal, as both DH and I are not fans of changing resorts. The other is a full week at the Beach Club, via a great rate on Orbitz, which is an additional 20% off the 30% off Spring Rates available on Disney's website. Both are fully refundable, up to 5 days in advance of arrival.

In the meantime, though, I keep checking availability at both the Swan and Dolphin, in the hopes that something opens up. I would definitely recommend you doing the same.

Hope it works out for you.

Thanks all for your responses - I'll certainly keep trying! It just seems somewhat unusual that they are both sold out on a Sunday night, when both Friday and Saturday are available.

I think for the time being I'll book the Swan Thurs through Sun, and then change to another location for my final night.

Hope it works out for you too Lexi.

I've had VERY good luck at the Swolphin and countless other hotels all over the world with extending trips even when the hotel says its full. Arriving a day early though, no luck...just ask when you check in if they can accommodate you.

Have fun Dan! We are deciding on our Adventures by Disney trip for the summer, but also hope to return to the Dolphin next January!

Nancy, i just realized we overlap, although I am only at the Dolphin for my first 2 nights. Then moving to Shades of Green when my friends arrive. I hope you have a magical trip.

Yes, there is the Cabana Bar at the Dolphin and Splash Terrace at the Swan. You can find menus for both on the S/D website.

As Dan said, it is the Cabana Bar. I must add it is a favorite of ours. We like to spend at least one day at the pool and eat at the Cabana Bar each trip!
