Are you able to get the grey stuff from Be Our Guest at lunch? We are thinking about going to WDW in late April and of course there aren't any ADRs for dinner so we would be doing lunch.

I don't think so. IIRC, the grey stuff is only served for celebrations. And those are noted when you make an ADR, so that would restrict it to dinner only.

It's not offered at lunch at all.

Officially, the "grey stuff" is only for celebrations, but there are reports of it being offered just because someone asked, because the server felt magnanimous, or (apparently) because the restaurant was approaching closing hour and they wanted to get rid of it.

We made a note on our dinner ADR in Jan. of a celebration and they brought 2 out (party of 7). I haven't heard of anyone receiving this at lunch, and there aren't traditional servers per se to handle this kind of request, but there isn't any harm in scouting out a CM and asking politely?

If you can, swing a dinner ADR...dinner is more than just the gray stuff. Very cool.
