I hope to get an update in there today, but I don't have any more pictures uploaded to photobucket. Plans for today, I get a hair cut this morning (I drive to TimbukTu to my friend's shop), dh works with Anakin on his school work, acting class today (the special needs one), we are still doing the breakthing treatments on him but he is doing much better (longer periods of time between then.) The deadline for my CE credits is the end of the month so I have a few of them to finish. Next year, I'm staying on top of them and finishing them early! So I have a couple tests to do today. We leave Sunday for POP Century, I need to get some packing out of the way.

Update on Anakin. I got a call yesterday from his neurologist. We go there next week. His lab results came back that his vitamin D levels are still too low. I don't understand how that can be? We have him outside 30 minutes at a time without sun screen as recommeneded, he is on a supplement, he drinks lot of milk or orange juice foritified with Vitamin D. (In fact the only drinks he drinks are orange juice fortified, milk, or water.) The day before the blood work, we had been at Disney for a couple hours, he was outdoor without sunscreen to drink up that Vit D. They said we'll discuss it next week at the office, and said to bump up the supplement. His tegretal levels were good.

Yesterday he was a bit out of sorts. He cried alot. And at the drop of a hat. He said it was a sad day. I kept showing him all the happy things around us. He finished his Chewbacca bird feeder which got a smile. Hopefully today he will be back to his normal joyful self.

Poor guy. That's odd about the vitamin D. Maybe the Dr can figure something out?

    Packing time!!:cool1:

I hope that Anakin feels better today and enjoys his art class.

Poor Anakin! Vitamin D deficient? I would never guess in FL that could be. Here... pretty much everyone is cause we get no sun.... but FL? I hope everything is ok.

    Today was a happy day.

It is strange about the Vit D because we are outside every day. I wonder if it has something to do with his skin type. He doesn't ever tan either.

They said the doctor will discuss it with us next week at the appointment. It has gone up a little in the 3 months he's been taking something for it, but not very much. The nurse did say it takes more time.

He loved acting class. This special needs one is totally different and much much larger than the homeschool group. This is both kids and adults. They split into groups and rotated between three places. They learned a dance number, did some improv, and learned a song. They will be putting on a Christmas show.

And with all our park days!?

    Thanks.

I am so glad to hear that acting class was so much fun! I used to love going to the kids Christmas shows and was so sad when they stopped them. But as long as my kids were in band we at least had the band concerts.

Hope the doctor can quickly find a way to help Anakin's Vitamin D deficit. And that he is having happier days.

Have a great time at WDW next week. Are you going to MNSSHP?

    Good luck on your tests!

I missed that with the kids when we switched to homeschooling. Though the first year Anakin had Kindergarten graduation ceremony that was a huge deal with our homeschooling field trip group! They had a great ceremony and reception.

The week leading up to the show and the day of the show will have some long nights though. There were lots of question marks for end time those days. Hopefully they will do a good job of keeping everyone calm.

We are not going to MNSSHP while we are at Disney, but we have been talking about going this year.

The tests are pretty straight forward, just need to take the time and do them.

Thanks for the heads up on the convention! So when are you starting your PTR for that one?

That's awesome! I'm becoming more and more fond of the darkside. We had a wonderful Labor Day there! How many days will you be there?

I filled out a survey as we were leaving the park. I'm glad I did because that night I got a 50% off code! I didn't call to check on those rates though. Those resorts are expensive, so 50% is a big discount!

So if they ask you to fill out a survey, go for it!

The remainder of Day 2 at Celebration didn't exactly goes as planned. We went back to the Family room after Anakin's ceaseless begging to go there. We signed him up for a time slot to make a jawa.

There were so many children in this room. They were running around. Knocking over the tents. Swinging light sabers and it was quickly that he became overstimulated. We knew it was time to leave as soon as we entered. I was so glad we let him spend all that time the day before because this was going to be rushed.

The little ewok in this picture quickly became friends with Anakin. She had alot of spunk and a sense of humor. At one point she told Anakin that he can be glad he dressed as a bounty hunter, because if he had dressed as a stormtrooper she would have bit his arm off. It took all Goofy had not to die laughing. Anakin just said, "I guess that is good I dressed as Boba Fett."

We went to see The Unseen Warwick Davis. It was a panel about showing how his rolls have included being unregconizable behind make up to roles showing his face. Pictures were not allowed to be taken at this panel.

We were all excited to see this panel! We love Warwick Davis! He was always such a delight when he hosted SSW in the past. It's been years since we saw him. We got seated early for special needs, but Grumpy was not with us and Anakin started to panic. We were in the center of the aisle and people were filing in quickly. We couldn't exactly move him. I went out of the theater to look for Grumpy, but didn't see him. One of the convention workers told him if I had a seat for him and could quick get him it was ok. So I called him told him where I was and he met me. Anakin was fine once he saw his brother and calmed down.

The show started. It was partly him explaining his roles and part movie clips. They showed a movie clip of him getting his face cast for make up. It was the same type of stuff they put in your mouth for dental imprints. But this was all over his face. Eventually he only had two little pin holes as nose holes. This was more than Anakin could take.

He took off his Boba Fett cape and made it into a blindfold so he couldn't see the screen. He put his mask over top. He whispered to me that he is going to sleep because this is too much. So he took almost an hour nap.

During the show, I got a text from jmskinner that her family was at the red carpet and it was packed. A little later I got a text that it reached capacity.

Our panel ended. We headed to Exhibition Hall to walk around. Grumpy wanted to see if he could get Zac Jensen's autograph. Kitt Fisto has always been his favorite Star Wars character.

Anakin found the Legos display and that made him more comfortable

With plenty of time left at the convention for the day, we decided to call it quits. It was time for Anakin to get a change of scenery and relax from his day. We decided that we couldn't wing it anymore and we needed to make a clear plan for the next day so that he knew what to expect.

Here are some pictures we thought were cool. I spotted someone dressed as Queen Amidala and a Darth Chef

Anakin is very wise isn't he? Covering his face and taking a nap. There are days I wish I was wise enough to do that.

Your welcome. I'm debating a new ticker.:rotfl2: Not really sure we will be able to make it with Jacob's school but too good of a room offer to pass up booking. I may still be working on the current TR. :rotfl2:

That's great that Anakin just went to sleep instead of getting upset or making you leave the panel. I really would have like to seen that panel, but my boys wanted to see that Clone Wars premiere. I have to admit, I enjoyed the show.

Cool pic of the Chef Darth Vader.

    And the little Ewok.:rotfl2:

We are back from our Pop stay. 2 nights just isn't long enough! But it sure was nice to stay there! We were in the 50's section overlooking the lake in a standard room. Our view was amazing...we were right across the lake from the mermaid section.

    Mousekeeping gave us towel swans!

The only negative comment I have about our stay at Pop was that they should have given us a heads up that there was a work order for maintanance for our room. We were very much surprised to get to our room and see a purple "key" in our key hole saying that our room was being worked on. Apparently the toilet didn't work and a curtain rod was broken. The repair person was great! Very friendly. She let Anakin watch her fix the toilet, and didn't seem to mind his 101 questions. We saw her around the resort the next day popping in and out of rooms while we were swimming.

That little girl was precious! I'm glad he worked through it too.

That was the case, we wanted to do both. Grumpy loves Warwick Davis, and this was mostly for him. It was one of his favorite panels.

Guess we have to wait a little longer to see it on tv.

    She was a gem.

His O2 levels are back to normal. We stopped doing the nebulizer.

He goes to the neurologist on Thursday.

He had a problem on Sunday night. We were on the monorail and he started drooling like crazy. Soaked the collar of his shirt. He could have used a bib. I held a wad of tissues at his mouth. Not sure what happened, but even when he talked his mouth was filled. It really bothered him. Since it was out of the ordinary and never happened before, we gave him his emergency med when he said he felt dizzy. We headed over to the fairies since it had a long line. That gave him lots of time to cool down. We did not go on any rides. Just saw the fairies (Tink and Periwinkle), ate supper, then played a round of Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom before heading back to the room.

Earlier he had walked from Pop to AoA and it must have been too much in the humidity. He felt fine then. We made him take it easy the rest of the trip.

His w/c is at a 30 degree angle. He says it always makes him sleepy to sit in it.

I am betting that the repair person is a mom or big sister. It's nice that she was so patient with Anakin. Loren used to love watching anybody work on things. Now he loves working on things himself.
