Welcome to the second annual Disney restaurant tournament. You can find tournament rules below. The active matches are listed directly below. Each active match contains a link on the categories (i.e Character/Show) to a thread in the test section of the Disboards. This way we don't clog up the restaurant thread with tons of polls.

Each Poll contains 2 matches, you get to vote twice; once for each match. There is also an option to pass if you feel like you don't know much about either restaurant.

RULES AND INFORMATION

There will be four divisions, each with 16 table service restaurants and one category of 32 counter service restaurants.

The divisions are as follows:

1. Resort/Downtown Disney Restaurants (16)
2. Character/Show Dining (16)
3. Signature Dining (16)
4. Theme Park Restaurants (16)
5. Counter Service Restaurants (32)

Every Three or Four days I'll put up 10 new matches (two from each bracket) in which people can vote for their favourite restaurant in a given match-up. After poll is closed, one restaurant of the two will be eliminated and the winning restaurant will go to the next round.

Basic guidelines for voting are as follows:
1. You are voting not only on food, but also overall experience including price, service, location, etc..
2. If you have been to both of the competing restaurants in the match or feel very strongly about the one you have been to feel free to vote for one of the restaurants.
3. If you have not been to both restaurants and don't feel strongly either way, simply vote pass.

For example round one will feature the number 1 seed in each category versus the number 16th seed. 2 vs. 15, 3 vs. 14, etc…

If I were doing this rankings on personal opinion, there are a couple of things I'd definitely change.

1. Bluezoo would be in the top three of signatures, for me...but due to it being at the Swan and Dolphin, a lot of people don't get a chance to go there. But if you are in the Epcot area, it's definitely worth the walk over. They have a kids dessert that is the best on property!

2. Peco's Bill would be much closer to the bottom of the Quick Service list. But everyone seems to love it...the toppings bar is too much of a draw

3. B.O.G lunch would be much lower than number 1 for me (7 or 8). You can't put a price at atmosphere, I guess.

4. I'd have ABC Commissary more in the upper middle of the list of QS. Not for their burgers and such, but they have a great Asian salad there that we get every time. Plus lots of indoor, air-conditioned seating. It's definitely not my favourite, but I like it better than most people.

5. Love Tokyo Dining! Some of the nicest servers on property. But it seems, based upon the current poll, I may have had it too high.

We getting through most of the restaurants now. The ones at the moderates resorts are the hardest ones to get to for us.

Our last dinner there it was a zoo - overcrowded, noisy, rushed. AND in the poll it's up against the Ooey Gooey Toffee desert from Liberty Tree. Hands down Liberty Tree on that one.

That's too bad. The couple of times we have been to Tokyo dinning has been late afternoon rather than during diner. I'd imagine that would change one's experience of the restaurant. If you are able to make it during a slow time, ask for a window seat. It offers a beautiful view of Epcot.
