I hesistated to even look at your Tr since I can't see pictures now. I promise to catch up on pics this weekend.

In June I ate at the Tangieriene cafe for the first time and its was SO good. I LOVED it!!!!!!!! So glad to hear you are also a fan!

I just love World Showcase !! I never feel like I get enough time there. Yep, there are just certain things that DH needs to stay away from

no cast drilling, very naughty!

I hate it !!! I can plead insanty !! This thing is driving me crazy !!

Day 6 – Part 3

Continuing in World Showcase ….

DS had another Agent P mission in Japan, so we did that.

DS finished his mission and turned in his Agent P phone thingy and then they wanted a Kaki Gori. They just love those snow cone type treats and need to get one every time we are in World Showcase.

This duck came begging for food, but I don’t think Kaki Gori was her thing.

We breezed by Italy and Morocco and headed straight to France

To get the best drink ever. Grey. Goose. Slushie.

We missed Impressions de France on our last trip because it wasn’t working, so we headed in to see that.

We really enjoyed that movie. I really love the movies in Canada, France and China. Beautiful films.

Some photos from the UK and Canada which we breezed through because everyone was tired.

We headed back towards the front of the park, stopped into Club Cool

DD just loved that drink from China. I was tempted to take one of our empty water bottles and fill it up for her. But decided against it.

Then we went back to Mouse Gear to make some purchases

DD got a Aurora Doll with the last of her money

And I got these jammies I had had my eye on earlier to wear after my surgery.

They are very comfortable and I will say that even though this recovery is often uncomfortable and difficult, looking down at these pants do make me happy.

At this point, we were all pretty tired and we decided to head back to Wilderness Lodge.

We just missed F&W, so I am very sad to say that there will be no food porn from that.

Um..I knew that. I was just testing your mental faculties...pain killers being what they are and all. Yeah...that's it.

But every 15 minutes I take stock of what tools I have on hand that would remove this cast. So far the Dremel is in first place. Followed by the hack saw. I hate this thing with an absolute passion.

OK .... I will go with that. I am tired of taking painkillers. Tired of the whole process.

Day 6 – Part 4

We were all pretty tired and we all decided to head out and back to Wilderness Lodge.

We got some laundry going and I got a shower. I iced my ginormous ankle while DH took the kids down to the pool. They hung around and roasted marshmallows and then called up to the room to see what I wanted for supper. They went by Roaring Forks again to pick it up. I decided on a cheese flatbread

This hit the spot for me. It wasn’t too heavy and the crust had a nice crisp to it. It was just enough and exactly all I needed.

DH got this tuna sandwich thingy

I can see why he chose this because it looked so fresh and DH said it tasted as fresh as it looked and he really liked it.

The kids went with the old standby

DD fed some to her dolly

For dessert, we got Mickey bars and ice cream sandwiches.

DD wanted me to take a photo of the Halloween cup

Then we settled in to get some rest for the next day ahead. Animal Kingdom !!

I love Spaceship Earth. But this trip, it was the hardest one to ride for me. It wasn't very accessible. They made you walk up the ramp and back down and it was a long way for someone who could only take a couple of steps. So we only rode it once this trip.

The flatbread was really good. They had a special flatbread each day, but I just wanted cheese that day.

Your dinner looks great! And the Halloween cups are really cute!!

I love how Disney decorates for everything !! Fun stuff !!!

Day 7 – Part 1

We got up around 8 AM, had breakfast in the room and then we got in the car and headed to Animal Kingdom

We headed straight back to the safari. I thought it would be too bumpy for me and didn’t really want to ride, but DH talked me into it. Said we should do it together. So I said OK. It was a walk on, but the H/C line took 20 minutes. So sometimes you have to wait longer to ride the H/C line. I was able to just hop right into the car with no walking, so that was good.

I have to say, without the poaching part, the safari is just isn’t as exciting. It is still fun to see the animals, but it just isn’t as fun. And it was too bumpy for my sore ankle so I had hold my foot up the whole time.

DS was wanting to ride Expedition Everest so we headed that way.

I am soooo tempted to do the Agent P missions. I know for sure we'll have to do it in July.

This ride was just so quiet. The guide talked about the animals some, but there was no music or shaky bridge or "Simba One". It just wasn't the same. We will see when we go in January. The Zebras are supposed to be finished by then.

great update, love the pj's, might have to get me some this week! We go to the Lion King suite Friday at AoA for the night and then get on the Fantasy Saturday. I started the packing piles yesterday and will finish most of it tomorrow after my pre-trip Target run. So hopefully they will have those pj's in the AoA gift shop, they look nice and thin (in a good way, man, the older I get the hotter I am at night too, no more flannel for me!)

Hope the foot/ankle is ok today - when do you go to the Dr. and get the cast off? That will be a good day!

How exciting that your Disney trip is coming up so soon !! I don't know that I saw any of these pajamas in the AoA gift shop, but if you see them, get them because they are super comfy.

We sail on the Fantasy at Thanksgiving 2013, so we are excited about that trip. Are you going to do a TR ??

I have good days and bad days with the ankle. It all comes down to swelling. The amount of swelling can really make or break my day. It is all just so darned uncomfortable. It comes off on Halloween. Sixteen days. Not soon enough .......

DH will take the kids out for trick or treat and I usually stay home and hand out candy. Our neighborhood is FULL of kids and we easily spend $100 on candy. To tell the truth, I am thinking of staying in with the lights off this year so I don't have to keep getting up to get the door. I know that doesn't seem fair, but I don't know if I am up to it this year.

No, we are not using DVC points for that. The DVC points for a cruise are nuts. Like 450 points for just one person to go. Nope we are paying for it. Signed up for it on our Dream cruise for the 10% off and I think a $200 onboard credit.

I love writing and reading TR's. I think it is like an online scrapbook in a way. And I feel like you learn so much from other people's experiences. I like regular scrapbooking, too. Have a big pile of that stuff. I would love to see your Fantasy pics !!!
