We are considering watching Wishes from the Tomorrowland Bridge when we go back. I would love to watch them from Main Street but it's always sooooo crowded!!

Love the watch!!:thumbsup2 Wendy made a very good choice!!!:)

What a wonderful night you both had!!!:goodvibes

Wendy says thanks! She loves reading everybody's comments. She thinks she's famous or something:rotfl:

Every MK evening is great, but I love those when I just have one kid:thumbsup2 Keep me updated on your plans:goodvibes

I think you did mention the R2D2, but you didn't mention how it drives the dog crazy:lmao: Who knows maybe we'll still end up with one someday. It actually does sound kind of fun:goodvibes

I think Wishes from the Tomorrowland Bridge is great if you don't want to wait too long and are avoiding the crowds. It gave us time to ride Buzz and we still had a great view of Wishes. You really do see the fireworks well. They are just next to the castle instead of behind them. I think if I ever convince DH to stay for Wishes (he hates standing around in crowds for fireworks) we would go there again. However, if I'm alone next time I'll probably fight the crowd on Main Street.

    Day 4, Part I
Beware to any Beach Club lovers. This update has the potential to make you homesick;)

It was around 6:30 am and what do I hear? A little voice singing, “It’s a happy day today.” It was Michael and he is awake and ready to go. I kick DH awake and instruct him to take Michael on a walk so the other kids (and myself) can get some sleep. So DH and Michael went on a morning walk around the Boardwalk. DH took some really nice pictures.
    What a beautiful place:love:

Meanwhile back in room 1544 John was stirring. John is not one to do anything quietly. I’m constantly encouraging him to use his “inside voice” Would he wake up Wendy and how grumpy would she be?

Looks like they had a beautiful morning walk!:cloud9: I love being up and about the resorts in WDW when it's quiet...we don't get to do that enough. Maybe next trip we will.

"...and how grumpy would she be?"

Sheesh! I'm away for a couple of days and I get all behind again. Your hubby takes great pictures. My hubby usually takes seriously bad pictures.

How great that you got a girls only evening! Seems as though you had a great time. Good to hear a nice review about The Plaza!

Funny that Wendy went from princesses to Buzz....must just highlight the transition, huh?! She's a doll and I love the picture of her at Minnie's house. Too cute!

The Beach Club looks amazing! We have been there for Beaches and Cream and to drool over the pool, but we are just going to have to stay there SOON. I didn't realize you could see so much of EPCOT.

Michael's early wake-up call answered by Peter? Perfection! Eager to read more about your great trip!

Oh how I wish to stay there one day again too!

The resort is amazing. A little piece of heaven:cloud9:

I really did like the Plaza. Sometimes simple is best:thumbsup2

I LOVE all your Star Wars pictures. I was getting frustrated that your kids stood in line to see people and then they got changed before they made it. I hope your kids took it OK. That seems like it should be changed somehow so that you can meet who you want to.

Believe it or not when you asked everyone to guess where you would eat dinner with Wendy, I thought Plaza. We ate there for the first time last year and I was very impressed with the atmosphere and the food was good too. When you said that it was just you and Wendy I thought the Plaza would make a perfect spot for a mother, daughter dinner. I am glad that you liked it. The Boardwalk looks so pretty. I would love to stay there one day.

The Star Wars Disney character set up was a bit screwy. It would be very time consuming if you wanted to meet all of the characters. There were some people behind us that deparately wanted to meet Goofy and Donald (they'd already met Minnie), but they didn't get to. My boys didn't even seem to notice they didn't actually meet Goofy and Donald. They just wanted a picture of them which we got:confused3
Good guess on the Plaza:thumbsup2 I really think that is an overlooked gem in the MK.

    Day 4, Part II

Luckily DH and Michael returned shortly and I immediately had the two boys grab their pails and shovels and took them out to the beach. It was an absolutely beautiful morning and the world was just waking up. We were alone on the beach and the boys had a grand time.

I was enjoying it quite a bit too. This is what I was doing (see my toes):goodvibes.

Notice the pedicure. Wendy and I had them done before we left home. Here is a better shot in case you can’t see.

People that noticed it usually said something like, "Do you really have Mickey on your big toe?":rotfl: I always assured them I did:)

We were out on the beach close to an hour and it was a great relaxing way to start the day. We needed to head in and get ready for breakfast. We had a date with Minnie, Goofy and Donald scheduled. Where did we eat? Right down the hall from our room at Cape May Café.:cool1:
We arrived for our 9:30 ADR and were seated promptly. We all headed up to the buffet and filled up on the yummy food. There were lots of fresh choices including fruit, pastries, Mickey waffles, eggs, bacon, potatoes etc. Pretty much the normal assortment, but we all agreed it was fresher and there seemed to be more variety than Crystal Palace. Of course, we also had the characters stopping by in their adorable bathing suits.:cutie: First up was Minnie.
Not a very flattering picture of the boys

    Then Donald stopped by.

And last but not least, Goofy.

Look at this, Peter Pan is out in full force.

Overall, we all rated this meal better than Crystal Palace.:thumbsup2 However, that empty Main Street before breakfast makes Crystal Palace a meal we will probably do again and again.:)

Next up we did something I learned about from the boards, and the minute I heard about it knew it was right up my alley. What could it be?

Ooh, can't wait to see what you do!!

We went to the Cape May Cafe clambake, but the breakfast sounds great as well. I just would never have been able to convince my gang to wake up for an ADR on our day off.:rotfl: You're right, the characters look so cute in their beach ware. No Mickey?
