Well my day has started off swell.
We left the ER with DS11 at 10:45 last night. He apparently has a fractured elbow thanks to his wonderful DS15. While I was on my deathbed they decided to play some football. Now mind you this was with a nerf football with a tail at the end, meant for throwing and not tackling. Yeah, boys brains, never fully developed. :furious: <---- cause I can't find the hit head here, brick wall smilie. So Monday I need to call ortho and DS15 will now be doing all of DS11's chores and handwritten homework for the next 4- 6 weeks.

Then about 30 minutes ago I wake to the now infamous pre vomit cough. DS10 did not escape the dreaded stomach bug. Poor kid missed the tile by one step and got the entire hallway carpet. So bad that I have to cut it out tomorrow and send DH, who is also sick (101.1 fever) to Home Depot to find some kind of remnant carpet and at this point I don't care if it doesn't match!!

So, it's 3:20 am and I'm ready for anything!
Bring it on world, Bring.It.On!!! I've got my gloves on and I'm ready to dance!

I hope your day gets better

maybe you could just get the carpet cleaned instead of ripping it up?? I would wait until the stomach bug is done.

today - we are grilling & invited my Sister & her family over, Mom & Dad should come too, I'm about to call them & see.

so basicly being a bum today.

I did get the MK sketch done & put up before James messes up those pages(I remember now why I don't use white very often)

Happy Saint Patrick's Day - Half my heritage is celebrated today (my grandfather came from Ireland). The French half is celebrated on Mar 19th - St Joseph's Day.

Buffy, i am so sorry your day is off to such a negative start. I love your boys, even if they do get rambunctious sometimes. Hoping they are on the mend soon. I had that stomach virus on Thursday - worst 14 hrs in a long tme.

Hey Lisa- forget the sleep, but enjoy Megan's joy in having her friends there for her birthday. Have had "a lot" of girl parties here in the past, and you know what, I miss all that activity.

Can't wait til LindaBabe arrives on Wed, and we head off to the Cape for a wonderful weekend of scrapping at Camp Wannacropit.

Grandson will be here for a few days and we get to plan our May trip to WDW. Have a wonderful day everyone!!

Highlight of the morning so far was seeing a pair of hawks mate and then watching her sit there on the branch for two hours after. Hopefully that means babies for them this spring!

DH wants to get everything off the drive and then wipe its memory before we use it as an external storage drive. I think I will let my new computer rest for a bit before transferring over my craftrobo files- which are on the same drive. He thought transferring my documents had taken awhile.

Solar cooking is going well today- I slightly modified a pizza box solar oven (just google it). I added n inverted glass pie pan over the cooking surface to increase the speed. The cheese toast took about 40 minutes and so far the smores have been on for a little over an hour. I will check them again in a few minutes.

Waiting for DD#1 to get done swimming.
Drop her at home, she did.t bring a change of clothes because shes not comfortable showering in frint of a group. Haha that led to the Jr high locker room discussion.
Head down for eyebrows, she was swamped when I stopped in.
Hopefully finish up some orders. My machine decided to eat my materials ladt night and unexpected guests so need to get them done!
    Lazy day today!

    My Saturday to do:

Take DD to DMV to get her an ID. OY. Stood in line for over an hour. What an experience. Thank goodness I don't have to do that again for another five years. It had to be the most stressful experience I have had in a long time.

Stop at the vets to pick up my puddy cats script
    Boutique G
Kohls to return Kitchen Aid mixture that turned out to be too heavy to lift.
MomE's for corned beef and cabbage dinner
    grocery store
Watch the UConn/Pairie View womens basketball game.
    Mt. Washmore shuffle
