Woke to a white lawn.... the dog was not sure how to navigate this morning on our quick and cold walk!!

Off to school in a bit - the weather is supposed to be close to 60 by Sunday. Who says there is no such thing as global warming?????

work-need to leave early to pick Julia up from school, she is staying after to work on her math portfolio with her teacher.

Thanks for starting the thread!!! I was sleeping good and didn't even hear my first alarm at 6:30! I did wake before my 7:30am alarm in which I have to get the boys up and movin' for school!


Sorry for those of you who woke up to covered lawns... I bet it is pretty to look out but not to deal with. We are supposed to hit near 70 this weekend.. Now to keep my boys in jeans and jackets regardless so they don't end of up sick from the bouncing temps because they are dropping on Monday again..

sign up for swap x 4 ppl
verify shopping lists for tomorrow
research college book purchases.. DD got her list and last night for 4 books, I said 50% by buying them online AND they are the right books... our lists come w/ ISBN #s and a photo of the cover and detailed title and author!!! (I saved 140 on her Chem book alone!)


I know there is more but can't think of it right now...

I've got a list of phone calls to make. Our insurance is changing as of 1/1 so I need to make sure we've used all the benefits from the current plan and see that all our doctors are in the new plan Looks like I can get Morgan a contact lens fitting if nothing else

We got quite a bit of snow. It's pretty raw out there right now. Morgan was watching the school closings very closely...No dear, that's a dusting, not a no school storm.

Decided to use my new pampered chef microwave chip maker to make apple chips. We will see if it is worth it. Need more snack options for drew.

Hey were a hit with him. I think this thing will be trial and error. The chips weren't very crunchy. I cut the apple thin and added some cinnamon to them. he ate the whole apple. The chip maker seemed to work and when I cored the apple I didn't realize I made mickey shaped hole in the middle of the apple so when they were cut there was a mickey hole. He really loved that. Next time I go to the store I will buy potatos and sweet potatos to try.

Good morning

Today is Thankful Thursday--I'm thankful that my husband has a good job that has great benefits and that he also works a second job. All of this so that I've been able to stay at home and raise my wonderful daughters What a blessing

My list:

PO to mail Sarah a care package

Working on stuff I have been ignoring! Radio is blaring - quite an interesting mix of CDs I have going!

PJ's bio prof entered books needed for next semester..same as this.. so NO out of pocket..
Soc class is same is roommates so she is lending PJ her book so no out of pocket and then roommate will sell it back at end of year!
The only class we are waiting on is Psychology!! Total out of pocket spent so far is..145..
and 3 of the 4 books I ordered last night have shipped!!!!
