I thought long and hard about what to name my trip report. I thought about acknowledging our survival of tropical storm Debbie. I thought about acknowledging a recurring theme during the trip. I thought about including something from the title of my PTR. In the end, I figured I’d try all three.

So as I did with my PTR, I’ll explain the title first.

Which one of you splashed me?

Tropical Storm Debbie hit while we were in Orlando. Everyone knows it. We had rain and it wasn’t the pleasant afternoon sprinkle Florida is known for either. Which one of you splashed me became a mantra for me. It’s how my children made the best of being rained on for days on end. My daughter made a game of seeing how many puddles she could walk through. My son when he had opportunity to did the same and he had more opportunity than I planned when I failed to secure his stroller cover well enough and the wind blew it up while the stroller was parked. In that rain it doesn’t take long to make a stroller useless. He was for the most part good about walking, but did want to be carried some. I was so glad I got him a raincoat before the trip. To add to their entertainment they’d splash me as we walked. It became a running joke. I’d say, “Hey, which one of you splashed me?” Dd would laugh. Ds would say, “Mom, you’re so funny!” I’d give them both the “I’m watching you sign” and we’d all laugh.

    It was crazy fun.

The title of my PTR was “if it’s crazy I don’t want to be sane”. Tropical Storm Debbie and all, we had a great time. The storm only removed World Showcase from our schedule. We pretty much did whatever we wanted. We made all of our ADRs. Of course we had our moments. Heading back out into the rain to go to dd’s BBB appointment was a challenge. We’d been to the park that day already and had a good time and gotten a lot done, but we came back to get cleaned up and get her stuff. I had to assure her it would be fine. She'd cried on our previous trip seeing the girls all made up. The rain would not get me out of the heavy financial penalties of not showing up for both BBB and CRT. This turned out to be the day Debbie brought her worst. Looking back though it was probably our best day.

I’ll get things started this weekend. :welcome: everyone in advance.

    :welcome:

Glad to have another TS Debbie survivor along. What an adventure right? We definitely stretched the rainy day at Disney is better than a dry day at home" theory to it's limits. I was really proud of my dd in particular. I have to say whenever I started to get down something would happen to cheer me up. I'll check out your TR as well.

The day had finally come. After a year of planning, 9 months of payments, plans and extras, the day had actually arrived. The countdown was over and it was time to go.

Okay, so I’m going to get started. I just ordered the photo pass CD today, but I paid the extra $2.00 for express shipping, so it won’t be long before it’s here.

We were really excited. It was a bit difficult to get dd to go to bed but after she finally packed her carry-on bag she finally took a bath and went to bed. I finished some last minute packing after ds went to sleep and was actually in bed by 10:00.

4:30am came really quickly. I knew I was the key to this thing going well, so I got myself going pretty quickly. I got ready and put the carry-ons in the van, then went back in to wake dd around 5:00. It took her a minute to gather herself, but it was still faster than during the regular week. Her clothes were right there on the bed, so once she came to herself, I asked her what she needed to do. Use the bathroom, brush my teeth, get dressed, and wait for you downstairs? Yes, my child, go forth.

I cleaned ds in some essential places, then applied sunscreen and put his clothes on. He woke up when I was putting it on his face. He hates that. He went back to sleep though. I laid him on the couch downstairs and put sunscreen on dd. This always even during the week takes longer than I think it should. Still we were out of the house by 5:40am.

We arrived at the airport without incident and found parking on level 1 of the lot outside the terminal. I put the parking ticket inside the storage compartment of the van and got the suitcases out. I put ds in the stroller and handed it over to dd. It was a bit awkward pulling those bags. I wasn’t sure I’d be able to do laundry during the trip, so I packed like I wouldn’t be able to. I was able to do laundry though and quite easily. Not sure we’ll ever have a trip this long again, but dd and I have already decided next time I’d pack less and do two loads of laundry.

It was a bit of a walk, but there were hardly any other people around. I got the bags up to the counter and faced the moment of truth. Had I overpacked? I used a method on here I read about where you stand on your bathroom scale and then stand on it while holding the suitcase. For safety, I added 5 pounds. Whew! We were under by a good amount on the large bags. I’d decided to pack ds’ pull-ups and diapers and some other things that had me concerned.

With that done we headed off to security much lighter. Dd still wanted to push the stroller though and I was fine with that. I keep things simple at security by packing our toiletries away in the checked luggage, so after my shoes were off and our carry-ons were up, I released ds from the stroller giving a stern warning not to move an inch and put the stroller up last. I could tell he was very tempted, but obeyed me and stayed put. Dd went through the detector first, then ds and I walked through together. We gathered our things and were on our way pretty quickly.

Once we were upstairs, it didn’t take long for dd to mention food. Here’s where I feel our airport really lacks a bit. All of the “familiar” restaurants are in the other terminal. I got a breakfast wrap and got dd and ds a French toast platter to share. The wrap was too big for me to finish. After we were done and cleaned up, we did a bathroom break and got some extra drinks for the plane. I figured the children would prefer the gummy bears I’d packed, but wanted drinks just in case. Dd had prayed fervently about ear pain though before we left home. I got the gate check tag for the stroller and we waited it out, talking to a nice couple who was also going to Disney World.

It wasn’t long before it was 7:30 and time for boarding. We had A20, 21 and 22 so we were practically the first ones on the plane after business select. We headed down the walkway only stopping to collapse ds’ stroller. I told dd to head to the back of the plane. We took row 18.

I have to pause to talk about the coolest thing happened after we boarded. Apparently our plane had originated in Philadelphia. There were 3 adults two rows behind us holding up signs saying “Speed Limit 60” and “Happy 60th Birthday Dad!” Behind us not too far was a couple who turned out to be their parents. The guy thought they were going to Rhode Island, which was the plane’s final destination. But the family surprised him with a trip to Disney for his birthday. The look on his face when he realized what was going on was priceless. It was a blessing for us to witness something like that. I love surprises. I surprised dd with our first trip.

Now, back to the report. We put the carry-ons down and I plopped ds into his seat so I could get his CARES Harness installed. We had traveled with his car seat before, but we weren’t using a car this trip and he was finally big enough to use this so I rented it on ebay.

That orange came with my wrap, but it served a greater purpose then me eating it. I don’t know how many toys I had for ds in my bag, but this is what he played with most of the time.

Dd had those gummy bears open and ready.

I think this was about ¾ the way through the trip. Ds loves numbers and Elmo and dd loves helping him with his numbers.

We’re fortunate to have such a short plane ride to Orlando. The hour and 40 minutes usually goes by pretty quickly. We landed without incident and ear pain. We took our time letting most everyone off the plane ahead of us. I let the guy behind me know I needed to undo his try table to get ds’ harness out and he was kind enough to help me get it off the seat. Packed it away and headed off the plane. Still had to wait for our stroller, which is generally waiting by the time we get off. There were quite a few though and ours was the last to arrive. Weren’t particularly hurried but my runner took off up the walk-way like he knew where he was going. It was the first of a few times he got us into a chase.

Dd took over stroller duties again and we did a bathroom stop then made our way to the airport monorail. It wasn’t long before I’d realize I left something important at home. I stopped and went through my backpack several times, but I had to face reality. I’d left home without our Mickey Mail. :sad2: I stopped at the Magical Express check-in counter and they gave us a handwritten voucher circling our resort name and writing the number 3 for the number of passengers. Drat, was planning on using the coupon for the arcade points later in the trip. Oh well, I didn’t sweat it. We got right in line and made our way to the spot to wait.

It wasn’t long before we were on a bus.

It was a nice trip. Our resort was the last stop as it was the first time we went. Unlike the first time we went, there was no long line at check-in. It was around 11am though. We got all checked in and I found out we had indeed been placed in the Toy Story area. She had more good news for us. Our room was ready. :woohoo:

We were in building 9 on the 3rd floor in room 9446. I won’t say it was particularly close to the bus stop. We walked out of the back of the main building and down the side walk through the door of Andy’s room to get to our building. We were closer the first trip when we were in the 101 Dalmations building, but this area was a lot of fun.

This guy greeted us. We ended up stopping by him almost every day.
    [IMG] [IMG]

This post is likely more than long enough. I’ll talk about the room in the next one.

When I left off, we were heading to our room.

We made our way past RC and through the door to Andy’s room.

We were in building 9. Woody sits in front of building 9, so whenever we arrived home, he greeted us.
[IMG]. Ds would say “we’re home Woody”. :rotfl:.

Buzz is in front of building 10, so whenever we came off the elevator and into the lawn area, he greeted us.

Once we were in the room, dd decided to take a picture of the Mickey head towel animal on the bed. So did I.

Here’s a few pictures of the room before we “put our mark on it”. I found out a few days before we left that the rooms had been refurbished. I was glad to see the larger flat screen TV and I was happy to see the miniature fridge. It meant I didn’t have to pay $10/day for one. I don’t think I took a picture of the fridge.

Ds before he got in trouble for jumping on the bed.

The children before they both got in trouble for jumping on the beds.

Here’s that TV. There are a few drawers there and the fridge was inside that door on the right.

A small shot of the bathroom because I liked the curtain.

Once we dropped our stuff down, the next order of business was some lunch. I like the foodcourt there. Once we were in there, we had our next mishap. We were in line and dd said, “Mom, where’s my card.” :scared: She traced her steps back a few ways, but it was nowhere to be found. I said, “Well, so much for the trial of you holding your own KTTW.” We got out of line and went to the front desk to get her another one. I didn’t make a huge deal out of it and I’d be glad for that later. You might know where I’m going with this.

That crises was quickly resolved and we got some lunch. Sorry there are no food pictures in this report unless I took a picture of one of my children while they were eating. And I didn’t take any during lunch. Dd and ds both had chicken nugget meals with fries and grapes. I had the bacon cheeseburger meal. I wanted the grill chicken with pasta salad, but they had just started cooking more chicken and said it would be about 5 minutes. We’d been in line almost 10 minutes when we realized dd lost her card and another 5 when we returned. I was done. After lunch we went back to the room to rest. When we got back our luggage was arriving.

I got ds down but he didn’t stay down long according to dd. I fell asleep. Getting up at 4:30 am had caught up with me already. :faint: Ds got up and watched TV with dd until I got up. I figured dd had waited long enough and we got our things and headed to the Magic Kingdom bus stop. When we got to Magic Kingdom, I’d be glad I hadn’t ranted at dd for losing her card.

When we got to Magic Kingdom, I’d be glad I hadn’t ranted at dd for losing her card.

On the bus to Magic Kingdom that short nap caught up to ds. He started to nod off right there. He caught his second wind after sleeping for about 30 minutes. Before we even got in though another mishap. Going through my purse on the end of my lanyard and my KTTW card was not there. :scared: I looked at dd and said it was my turn to have a lost card. She couldn’t believe it. I told her things had to get better. So we went over to Guest Services to get me another card. It looked different than the other two (ds had one too) and became a topic of conversation each time I pulled it out. It worked fine though and we were finally inside.

The plan for today was Adventure Land, meeting Fairies and Fantasy Land. It would be one of many times we deviated from that plan. Just after I took this picture, Dream Along with Mickey started. We had not seen it on our first trip so we stayed to watch. I was sad ds was sleeping. He would have loved it.

He woke up soon after when we were going into Mickey’s Philharmagic. This is our favorite show at Disney and we saw it multiple times, at least twice each of the three days we were in Magic Kingdom. Ds actually wore his 3D glasses the entire show.

After that we rode It’s a Small World because that is what we do. Philharmagic, then Small World. After that dd said she wanted to go to Tomorrow Land. Wasn’t expecting that and had it planned for another day, but said, what the heck.

On the way we saw that the Mad Tea Party ride had a short line so we jumped in it. For some reason dd wanted to hold ds.
That lasted all of a minute with his weight and the heat. We had fun on the ride.

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

We went into Tomorrow Land after that. After grabbing fast passes for Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, we went into the Laughing Floor.

Then we practically walked right on to Buzz. Why more people don’t use fast pass for this ride is beyond me. As we walked I could hear multiple children ask why they didn’t have fast passes for it. I tell myself they must be holding fast passes for Space Mountain or something and can’t get both. We don’t ride Space Mountain so we don’t have that issue.

We love this ride. I’ve gotten pretty good at it. We always look way too serious on the ride photo though. I had to take the jail picture with Zurg though.

We’d ride Buzz a couple more times during the trip. We got more fast passes after getting off the first time. We were going to get on the People Mover, but it was down. The line for Astro Orbiter was too long, so we got some food and did a bathroom break while we waited for our fast pass time to come around again.

After that we returned to Fantasy Land and did Philharmagic and Small World again. Time had gone by fast. It was 7:45 and about time to get a snack and scope out a spot for the night time entertainment. After a bathroom break, dd claimed not to want a snack and that she just wanted to find a spot. They already had the tape down so it was easy to find a spot. I guess I found the difference in watching it on Main Street. No such tape in other parts of the park. I think they would do well to use it though. Moving after this parade is a nightmare without limits on where people can stand to watch it.

I had a feeling she would change her mind about the snack so I got us a spot with the Main Street Bakery in sight on one side and a popcorn cart in sight on the other side. We made friends with the people waiting with us and I did end up taking ds and going to the bakery around 8:20 or so. Thankfully the line moved quickly. I got more water, a brownie, a muffin, some orange juice and some chips. Other than eating, they played with the glow sticks I brought from home while we waited.

Funny story about the glow sticks. They were in a cylinder, I opened. At one point when we were gathering ourselves after the parade to stand up for the Magic, Memories and You show, I spotted a cylinder and picked it up. It was empty. I asked dd what happened to all of our glow sticks and she had no idea. We’d only taken out four or five and the cylinder was empty. I shrugged it off. Well, once we were back in our room, I found our cylinder in my park bag nearly full of unused glow sticks. Apparently I had picked up someone else’s while we were cleaning up. :rotfl2:

The parade was wonderful and both children really enjoyed it. Ds in particular was very vocal and that made it more fun for me. The Magic Memories and You show started soon after. This was our first time seeing it and it was really impressive. I think it might have been more so if we’d been closer, but dd seemed a bit bothered by the loud fireworks during the Dream Along with Mickey Show so I didn’t want to get too close.

I didn’t get any pictures of the show, but I love when the castle changes color at night.

I only took this one. There was one group there trying to get a picture of it in each color. They were funny. Dd started saying she wanted to leave after that show as over. I reminded her Wishes was starting and this would be the only night we could see it. We were already here and it was starting any minute. She said she was tired. I told her she could sit until it started. She claimed she didn’t have a good enough of a view, but I told her the fireworks would be high enough for her. She had refused to nap in the room and I think getting up at 5am was catching up with her.

Tinkerbelle saved me. She took off from the castle right about the time I was running out of encouragement and we had a great view of her flight. I wish I had a picture of dd’s face. She stood there with her hands over her mouth. “Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh mom!” She started jumping up and down and everything. All I could do was laugh. She forgot all about wanted to leave. Wishes was great. I don’t have a great camera so this was all I got that was good enough to post.

Magic Kingdom wasn’t closing for another hour and after Wishes, people were staking their claims for the next MSEP. CMs appeared to direct us out. We went around some buildings instead of down Main Street and were out in no time. We got on the 2nd bus which was a big difference from our first trip for sure. It was during Thanksgiving week and we waited 90 minutes to get on a bus. It was after midnight when we got back to our room. This time we were back in our room before 11pm. We stopped at the food court so I could get some milk for breakfast the next morning. I had dd’s favorite cereal and bagels for ds and me. We got washed up and took our time settling in and were soon asleep. It didn’t go totally as planned, but it was a great first day. It was also the last dry day for a while.

    :welcome:

Thanks for reading along. I hope to get at least one more day posted before the weekend is over. We had a good time despite the weather, probably too good. Toying with trying to go back either November or December to see the decorations (and get in another trip before their 10th and 3rd birthdays).

We slept in a bit as planned on day 2. I only had World Showcase planned for today, but again we’d end up deviating. We had breakfast in the room and got out around 11am.

When we went to Epcot we shared with the other two All-Stars. When we got on there was just one seat left. I put dd in it and put ds on her lap.

We got into the park after a long wait at bag check. Thank goodness for those little personal fans I picked up at Wal-Greens at the last minute. It seemed we were in that line forever. I didn't want to use the misting fan around so many people, so the dry ones came in handy and to be so small they really gave a good breeze. I don't have a picture, but they fit in the palm of my hand. They had strings to hang around your neck. 2 for $3 at Wal-Greens.

I think it was standing in the sun. Walking in the sun is one thing but standing in it is another matter. Once we were through bag check, we were in the park pretty quickly. We had some photopass pictures done. I’ll post those after the CD comes.

Since it was after 11, I wanted to head into World Showcase, but dd didn’t want to battle Dr Doof. We stopped in a couple of places in Innoventions, but nothing struck her fancy. Then I remembered what I originally had first on the list for today.

I think this queue could have been a little cooler (temperature wise), but other than that it was nice. The cartoons running really helped with the wait. Ds still got a little sleepy. We were originally supposed to arrive at Epcot around 10am and do this first, then tour World Showcase while he napped. It was now almost noon and he was getting sleepy. I kept him going by talking about Mickey. The wait was about 40 minutes just like it was posted. Both children were happy when it was over. I was a pleasantly surprised by how excited dd was. I planned this mainly for ds.

    First the big cheese himself.

This was the last time ds walked up on his own. He wanted to interact but wanted me with him when it was time to pose for pictures. I was so glad I prepaid for photopass.

Next was Pluto. I love his if found return to Mickey Mouse tag. Sorry this is so blurry. Fortunately, the photopass photographer was on the job.

Next was Minnie Mouse. Ds was talking to her from a distance.

Then Donald Duck or “Gonald Duck” as ds called him from where he stood.

Donald reached out for a hug, but I just scooped him up and we all posed again. Ds would have stood there talking to him all day.

Last was Goofy, or “Goopy” in ds language. We got a good family shot, but ds was a little nervous around Goofy this trip. Here, at Tusker House and at Chef Mickey’s. Just kept pointing and saying “Goopy! Goopy!”

I was much happier about how the day was going after leaving there. We were headed into World showcase when we stopped at Club Cool. I didn’t try any of the soda. Dd was too fascinated with the large banks.

After that we had a scary moment. Dd for some reason said she was hot and wanted to try our mister out and I told her she had to wait until we were outside. She said “let’s go.” I started to follow her when I realized I had to take a different route with the stroller. I told her to wait right outside the door for me. I exited with ds and no dd. I walked around the store, no dd. I walked back inside and looked, no dd. I turned my cell phone volume up. I had put a bracelet on her with my cell number on it and told her to get a CM to call me if we got separated. I walked around the store again, then went back in the other door and there she was giving a CM her bracelet.

The CM complimented us, dd for being calm and me for making sure my cell number was on her. Dd said she wasn’t scared because of her bracelet. Apparently the mister didn’t work and she decided to come back inside and we missed each other. She had not pushed the power button.

Another crisis averted, we stopped at the splash pad. They had a blast. I laughed my butt off especially at ds waving his hand at the sprays of water saying “Hi-Yah!”

    [IMG] [IMG]

    [IMG] [IMG]

In the midst of this I was so proud of myself for bringing a change of clothes for both children. Then a face palm moment. I had not brought a towel. :rolleyes2 There was a stand in sight that had them so I got a Mickey Mouse towel, then began the task of ending this. It wasn’t easy, but I eventually got them dried off and changed.

We went into the World Showcase at Mexico and dd still didn’t want to tackle Dr. Doof so we went to Mexico to have lunch. We stopped at that QS restaurant just inside the pavilion. I can’t remember the name of it. We got a taco platter to share. It was almost 2 and I didn't want us too full for dinner.

I think he remembered he hadn’t had a nap while he was eating this tortilla chip.

I think dd was a little hot. We wouldn’t have to worry about that much longer.

We took turns trying the different colored tortilla chips. Only difference seemed to be some were more salty than others. We had a bet that the red ones were spicy, but they weren’t.

It started to rain after we were done, so we went into the building. The kidcot fun stop was there, so dd grabbed a Duffy and sat down to color.

I started to go on the boat ride in the building while she was coloring, the one with the three ducks. She had shown some disinterest because in her words it was “a bit dark”. She had though said she would ride it and ds fell asleep so I just sat down and watched her color. She managed to color for a full hour. She also managed to use her pen and crayons to make Duffy into a girl. :rotfl: She had to use the restroom then so we went to the one in the sit down restaurant there.

We ran into Mexico Donald on the way. They had moved him inside due to the storm. There was only 2 people in line so we jumped into it. My picture didn’t come out well. The photopass one is much better. We continued on to the restroom. Ds woke up so I figured we’d hit the boat ride. We were half way through the queue when dd changed her mind and ran out. :( I was really annoyed. I try to respect her challenges with this. Between her father’s death and some other things, there is some anxiety. I was more annoyed that I had the chance to ride it and didn’t.

The rain had slowed down, but dd didn’t want to continue with World Showcase. Then I had an idea. We’d go ahead and hit the Land Pavilion so we’d be in there and not get wet any more before our dinner. It would also leave us more leeway on our other Epcot day. We took our time going back to the front of the park. Dd and ds stopped several times to look at ducks. Ds had also gotten his shorts wet. This was the first and last day I left our room with one extra pair for him. I stopped at Mouse Gears and got him some Disney World shorts. $25.00

    We eventually got there though.

There was a sign out front saying “No strollers beyond this point” and I parked ds’ stroller and we walked up towards the door. As we got closer, I saw at least 3 dozen strollers parked under the shelter so I moved his stroller up there. I think someone put it in the wrong place. When we came back out it was moved to the door.

We went to a bathroom to change. I had made us Garden Grill shirts from a design I found on here. I am sure it was supposed to be an autograph book separator, but we thought they’d make cute shirts. We still had time after we were changed. The line for Living with the Land was short, so we got on that. I didn’t take any pictures though. Once we were off the ride we just went to Garden Grill to check in.

    Here’s ds waiting.

Here’s what is in his hand.

Up next, our dinner at Garden Grill.

It wasn’t long before were seated. The server gave dd and ds some coloring pages.
    [IMG] [IMG]

I pulled out the Garden Grill pages from the autograph books. I ended up putting the pages into two photo albums I picked up at the Dollar Store. I’m so glad for the poster who suggested that instead of getting them bound. They stayed dry the whole trip.

Dale came first. He showed his appreciation for having his own page. He pointed to the page, pointed to himself and kissed my hand. Ds was giving high fives, but didn’t want to get out of the booth for a photo, so I just got pictures of dd.

    Here’s Chip
    [IMG]

The characters were coming quickly. We still didn’t have any food. We had drinks so we were happy though.

The bread did come and this bread was awesome. We gave it six thumbs up. Then the salad came and I know it must have been good because both children ate some. They get it from the Living with the Land area. It was awfully fresh.

Then the Big Cheese. I love his farmer outfit.

Pluto came and just like the others got a high five and a wave from ds and a hug and a picture with dd.

The main course was chicken legs, macaroni and cheese, roast beef with gravy, mashed potatoes, broccoli, mixed vegetables and turkey with sauce. It was pretty obvious which dishes were geared towards the children, but we all ate some of everything. Favorites were the mash potatoes, chicken legs, broccoli, and roast beef.

All of the characters came around about 2 more times while we were eating. Since ds wasn’t up for photos I had dd take a couple of me.

    [IMG] [IMG]

    She also took another one.

There was ice cream for desert and it was yummy. I also sprang for those cups with the lights on the straws for dd and ds. Someone walked by with some and dd was in love. She got Tinkerbelle and ds bot Buzz.
The server was really great and the food and character interaction was good here. Dd did say she could do without the changing scenery, but other than that all positives on this one. I liked the changing scenery though.

This was the last thing on the agenda for the day. I wanted to get in early because we had Crystal Palace the next morning at 8:30. So we headed to the exit, but it wasn’t raining so we took our time. Sorry about the blurry photo. I think the lens got a little foggy with the weather.

    [IMG] [IMG]

    Ds loved looking at water.

I asked dd if she had to use the bathroom before we left the park. She said no. Five minutes later after we were out, she had to go. Really?!?!? Fortunately there was a restroom on the way to the bus stop. I decided to go ahead and change ds. We had a one goes we all go policy and changing him was included in that. I tried to get him to use the toilet whenever he was dry at bathroom visits, but he’d have no part of the toilets.

When we came out of the bathroom it was raining pretty hard. I got the rain gear out and got us covered before heading for the bus stop. This was the first time I put this on ds, but I’d end up being very glad I invested in it.

We made our way to the bus stop and got on the 2nd bus. I think we were in bed by 9:30. And so ends day 2.

I set my cell phone alarm to get me up at 6:10. We had an important appointment in the morning.

I laid out our clothes before going to bed.

When my alarm went off I got up pretty quickly. Both children were still asleep so I got myself ready. Then I covered both children and I with sunscreen and double checked the park bag and the purse on my lanyard. Oh yeah, my lost ticket? It was on the table in the hotel room. I unplugged my camera and put it around my neck and made the first of three attempts to wake dd. I ended up helping her into her clothes and doing her hair before she was fully awake. While I was finishing her hair (I found a bow on etsy that had all four Crystal Palace characters on it) I told her that the buses would not be running as often this early so it was important that we get moving.

I dressed ds and he woke up asking for a drink. I gave him a cup after I got his clothes on so he would not be asking for one on the bus again like he did the day before. He spotted something on TV though that made him forget about his cup, so I put it in the stroller cup holder. I think we got out to the bus stop by 7:30. There were people waiting there so I know we had not missed a bus. I gave dd the invitation to read to ds. I think he was happy.

The bus was there in another five minutes. Fortunately for us, it was probably at another of the All-Starts at 7:30. There were a few people on there going to breakfasts, some for Crystal Palace, but more for Ohana. There was also a family with a BBB reservation.

When we arrived at Magic Kingdom we went over to the early morning reservations entrance. Funny, all they did was ask us if we had a reservation and what time it was. There was no list of names or anything. I said yes and they just waved us through. We passed a handful of people waiting for rope drop already. It was really neat to go into Magic Kingdom like this. I let ds out of his stroller to walk.

    [IMG] [IMG]

    [IMG] [IMG]

    [IMG] [IMG]

Most people I’m sure had reservations in the 8:05 to 8:15 range, but to be safe I had made ours for 8:30. I took these around 8am though. It was nice to have time to explore for a bit.

    [IMG] [IMG]

And we found some “friends” hanging out in the park taking advantage of there being few people around.

    [IMG] [IMG]

We eventually went over to check in, I believe around 8:15. A very nice hostess gave the children some coloring pages and helped dd make a paper hat.

    [IMG] [IMG]

We were called inside right at 8:30. Up next: Our breakfast in the Hundred Acre Wood.
