Well, we are home and, judging by the fact that Nat is posting like mad, I assume the Longstaffs are aswell.

We had an absolutely FANTASTIC time - loads of highs and very, very few lows. I'm sure Nat has her own list of the 'goods' and 'bads' but I thought I'd post some of ours.

    HIGHS

The Disney cruise - absolutely amazing time and a great way to wind down for a few days
The weather - with the exception of yesterday, we had gorgeous weather
T-Rex - we went there not expecting much and ended up having two great meals there
Meeting loads of great DISers from our cruise thread - it was lovely to meet up with them finally and we loved running into our new friends all over the ship

Without a doubt, the biggest high of the holiday overall was spending our last night in a Bay Lake Tower Grand Villa with Magic Kingdom view. It was absolutely amazing and something which will stay with me always - I'm so pleased we were able to share such a fantastic experience with our best friends

    LOWS

There really weren't many of these and, for us, most of them happened in the last 24 hours:

The disorganisation of the whole check-in process for our return flight
Breaking down on the way home (more about that in the trippy - needless to say, though, it was not MY fault ;))
Missing out on riding Rip Ride Rockit - we were right at the front of the line when the stupid thing broke down and we just didn't get the time to go back again

As I said we had a fantastic time and I promise I will make a start on the trippy just as soon as I've made a start on the washing and waded through the mammoth pile of mail that was waiting for us when we got home.

Welcome home, glad you had a fab time and am looking forward to your trip report. It's strange, as we've never met but I found myself wondering a couple of times in the last couple of weeks what you would all be doing and hoping that you were having a great time. The power of the DiS Boards!

Really looking forward to your trippie:thumbsup2

    Hi all :)

im struggling to stay awake here so i will be brief ! like joh said there were more highs than lows on this trip for sure

    Highs ( for me )

many 1st rides....ive recently overcome my fear of coasters :cool1:

AKL Kidani village was a lovely resort and i was so pleased we were able to stay there.

Bay Lake Tower, WOW !!! what a lovely surprise ( i had no idea Joh had booked a grand villa and i cried when i 1st saw it it was truly a fantastic way to round off the trip

My 1st disney cruise, Awsome :)

Sharing the trip with my best friend :thumbsup2

    Lows ( for me )

Missing out on Rip ride rockit when we were so close to the front of the line

Virgin, very poor service on both journeys !!

    Coming home ;)
