I received the nice gift from Adventures by Disney today in regard to the Espirit de France adventure.

The 2014 master plan is fly to London, stay 4 days, Eurostar to Paris, Espirit de France adventure, Train to Switzerland, Either the Swiss or German adventure then back to reality.

    What do you think Ssteele?

Wild on the beach in TI and heading to the BVI tomorrow

That sounds marvelous! Personally, I'd do the Swiss Adventure.

I'm curious: Are you just assuming that they will have the same German and Alpine adventures in 2014 or do they always have the same trips every year? or, did you get an announcement from ABD with the 2014 plans?

The majority of the Adventures return each year.

ABD often surprises us with new Adventures.

Greece was new last year. This year South East Asia is new.

There is a Christmas Adventure in Wyoming this year...which is also new.

I would expect to see Alpine Magic and Once Upon A Fairytale (Germany) again in 2013.

These are both very popular....as you already know.;)

4 days in London followed by the Irish ABD then over to Scotland and then the Scottish ABD. That could be doable as well.

I like the idea of two adventures and only two trans-atlantic flights.

I like the plan. You may have to modify the order of events due to the ABD dates but it sounds great. I haven't done Scott.and yet but ireland was simply amazing

Yeah, the Ireland/Scotland dates don't jive well and I think there is only one possible scenario in the summer dates which would work and it entails a couple of days extra in between the two countries. I hope they will have better coinciding dates in 2014! Just an option!... ;)

With the expense of flying these days bundling(if available) is always a good idea! :thumbsup2

Are we talking adults only trips?

Yes we are. Maybe hard to arrange but we can do it! Watched the Diamond Jubilee on BBC America this morning. Ready to go to my favorite city and ride the Thames again.

Watched Richard, James and Jeremy driving supercars in Switzerland and Italy last night. The original master plan is on. The drive from Davos to the Stelvio Pass is now on my bucket list. The Alps are beautiful. Took a train through them southbound and flew over them northbound. Now I am ready to drive through them.

Our friends Linda and Roger did that a while back. Flew from home to England to their best friends home, then the 4 of them drove all over and ended up in Rome. L & R flew home from there and friends continued the adventure.

Guess I better see about loading foreign maps in the GPS. We'll also have to travel very light. Not sure we can get our bags and your long legs in a smartcar.:lmao:
