Ok, everyone, we heard Pete today. And he's right, it's time for us to get back on the ball with the Give Kids the World fundraisers. So many people are doing so much, but every single one of us can go over to http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/david-parfitt/disgktw and donate.

Most of us can do more, and I'm sure many of us have done nothing. I know I've done nothing; I donated $10 via my phone the first time the fundraiser was announced, but then I haven't done anything else for 18 months.

This show, that costs me nothing, is well worth more than a measly $10. So I'm going to ask you to ask yourself a question:

How much would you pay for the podcast? If the podcast were on a subscription model, if it weren't free, how much would you pay for it per week? I'm sure each of us would pay at least a dollar a week. But whatever number that is that you'd pay per week, I'm going to ask you multiply that number by 52, and then give that amount.

It's the least we can all do.

    EXCELLENT IDEA!!!

But if you can't afford it all at once- then schedule yourself to donate monthly- or even weekly- if it makes it easier to do it that way.
It's so easy- and every dollar means SO very much to the kids!

I agree. $1 at a time, $10 at a time, $100...it all adds up and is important. I've personally enjoyed doing $10 at a time for the various events that were going on earlier, like Tony's tutu race in DL, Kathy and T's muddy buddy (that is now going to be something else), those types of events are fun so support and in doing so benefitting such a great cause.
