The website is absolutely gorgeous! Great job creating all of it! I have a planning journal for the Knot as well as a wedding website and found them both so time consuming to make! It's worth it in the end though!

For my Save the Dates and my wedding invitations I decided that I wanted something unique and special. I decided it was important to me to have star wars and disney incorporated into a classy and sophisticated invitation. I am also not a fan of putting my picture on invitations or anything. So I reached out to the creative DISigns disboard thread and had a few people volunteer to design something for me.

The key aspects were I wanted Star Wars and Vinylmations incorporated into the invite. I wanted some disney maybe something to do with mickey. Also I am going to be using peacock feathers in my flowers and some of my decorations so I adjusted my wedding colors to go with peacock feathers because we thought an ice blue would not work with peacock feathers. Therefore, we darkened the blue.

Victoria (vickxo) from the disboards came up with the following design that we will be using for all the wedding stationary stuff.

I would just like to thank her for designing the following save the date and the forthcoming wedding invites She rocks.

Love all your plans so far, can't wait to read more! The proposal story and how you guys met is great. Must have been cool to end up engaged to someone who loves Disney as much as you. DF and I had only been dating for 6 months before he proposed but had been planning the disney wedding with the planner after only 4 months. Kind of amazing to meet someone and know they are the right person after such a short amount of time. Good luck with the rest of your planning.

It is pretty awesome to be with someone that loves disney as much as I do. It is an interesting thing to have a connection on but I can say that the way we met and the way this has all gone has been a dream come true and I am so happy. He is truly my best friend.

The following are images of things I am brainstorming. My colors are changing over to peacock purple, blue and green. I want to use peacock feathers and their colors to decorate for the wedding and incorporate them into star wars and vinylmation.

You will notice from my save the dates I am moving more towards peacock coloring for the wedding. Let me know what you think of the following images.

This is what I think I want to do for my bouquet and boutenierres.

for bridesmaids I am thinking one lily and a peacock feather. Something very simple

I like the bows tied to the side for the chairs

only picture i could find I want to do centerpieces that are tall vases with blue glowing water to signify blue lightsabers

I love the square 3 tier cake

I am trying to find a way to jazz up the centerpieces and include peacock feathers

I like the earrings in this picture and the chair decor with the feathers in a cone type thing.

thanks Faith! I am excited to be using this color scheme my great grandma loved peacocks plus it allows to decorate with less flowers thus lowering the cost. I might be able to find faux peacock feathers at garden ridge, michaels or hobby lobby....
