Temps in the Bahamas...December

What are the temps like in the Bahamas during December? We did WDW this year at Christmas and some days were perfect while other days were downright COLD! DD said the next time she went she wanted beach weather? Is December (mid to late) good beach weather for a cruise?

We cruised mid Dec 2012 and it was cold - water temps were in the low 60's. Very few people in the water or even in the pools on board when we got back on the ship.

Cruised in early December 2010.
all 4 days were on the warm to hot range. CC started out cool and windy but turned beautiful and I got sunburned. People would think the water at CC would be too cold to swim in, but being from the great white north, I thought it was perfect and sat in it for over an hour.

We just cruised the Dream in December 2011. We had PERFECT weather! However I have heard quite the oppisite on these boards other sailings. We had sunny, warm (high 70's low 80's) every day. We are from the Chicago area and that is warm for us! Now if you are from the south, that may be cool for you. At Castaway Cay the water was a bit cool at first but once you got in and as the day went on it was quite refreshing! The pools and the Aquaduck were always hopping! Go with a positive attitude! You are on a Disney cruise!! It won't be HOT, but 50/50 chance it's sunny and nice!

We are thinking about a cruise to Caribbean for NYE. Caribb. is probably warmer but we will still (hopefully) visit CC and this gives us a idea of what CC will be like.

high 70-low 80 is perfect for us! 76 is just right!

we cruised in dec '10 and it was record lows... that being said our cruise was great.... very windy on nassau day, we stayed on the ship. cc day got switched with the sea day because of conditions, however on cc day the weather was sunny, but a little chilly... not many in the water, but we were sunning in the chairs in our sweatshirts! we also said, next time we will go in a month with better weather, but we booked for december 2012 again, so we must have short term memories
