When does it hit 50 and 75 and then 90 % off? My sister sent a request from Iraq of candy to leave out on the wards and stuff (she works in a hospital over there) and i figured I'd pick some up after Halloween was over.

    Thanks!

Anyone else wants to send some over, let me know and i'll give you the requests and an address.

The Halloween stuff will go 50% off on November 1. At that time the candy will all be around $1.14 a bag (in my area the regular price is $2.29). I shop then and pick up candy for Christmas (a lot of the candy does not have Halloween decor on it). If you are lucky and live in an area where the Target does not get hit hard by bargain shoppers (not my area!), then you may be able to get candy at 75% and later 90% off. Usually Target does a lot of their marking down on Thursdays. I don't wait for it to go to 75% though, usually the good candy is gone by then and really the price difference is only around 57cents a bag. I would rather get my choice of candy then save a little extra change. Happy Halloween!

There is no markdown in my area until after Halloween. I'm not sure if that's standard or not.

Last night, our Target had 30% off costumes & they were very picked through. Most of the "good candy" was gone, but they had A LOT of Target brand candy corn available. They did have a lot of decorative items left, so I'll be keeping an eye out for the sales!

Some of their Halloween stuff in the dollar spot (that actually cost $2.50 originally) are on sale for 1/2 off. I got really cute small candy dishes that are shaped like the heads of Frankenstein, The Mummy, and a black cat for $1.25.

Does anyone remember what dates exactly the Halloween stuff went 75% and 90% off last year?? I'm more looking for the costumes as dress up items for my neice and nephew.

At my Target on Sunday, the costumes were already 30 percent off and there were hardly any left. I am guessing that if you don't go tomorrow, the pickins will be very slim.

My Wal mart has tons of candy left, BUT no mark downs here.

Target has costumes at 15% off, but not the candy.

    Wait until Wednesday.

Here is the general "rules" in regards to Target holiday clearance, according to another bargain forum I visit:

    Traditional Holiday clearance schedule
50% off day after holiday for three days
75% off fourth day after holiday for three days
90% off seventh day after holiday for 1-2 days.
Other than Christmas this is the schedule used for holiday clearance, including Valentine's Day, Easter, Summerville/Random Acts of Summer, and Halloween, for at least the last two years.

This may vary in your area but it seems to be pretty reliable where I live. This would put the 75% markdowns on Saturday.

Our Target always has tons of costumes left. I know I hit it up at 90% off last year and there was still 1 1/2 aisles left.

I think it is still 50% at the dollar spot until Thursday. It says thru 11-1.
