Wow you have some great detailed plans! So have your FP+s been secured? I have to do mine Sunday...excited and nervous at the same time. We will actually be at MK pre park opening too! We have a CRT ADR that morning.

I have been many times to WDW but will be bringing two first timers this trip...one is a 35 year old, and the other is a 4 year old princess loving little girl! (my great niece)

I can't wait to read more!

Finished with FPs and happy with the results. I'll be on later to give a more detailed update about what I scored but I DID end up with 2 ANNA and ELSA's and 4 Mine Trains! Overall the process was pretty painless and while I will have some tweaking to do it shouldn't be bad.

Booking The FastPasses


So the FP+ process wasn't too bad. Thankfully DH logged in to his account and he was able to help lock them in. That’s actually how we ended up with two Anna and Elsa FP+. (He started on the Last Day and I went for Mother's day so I could lock in Wishes.) We plan on keeping all four Mine Trains. (If she freaks on it that first day I can always switch it later.) Here are the times I ended up with:


- Park Day 1 (5/7) MK


Enchanted Tales with Belle (10am-11am)

Mine Train (11:25am-12:25pm)

Tomorrowland Speedway (12:25pm-1:25pm)


- Park Day 2 (5/8) HS


Toy Story Mania (10am – 11am)

*Daddy* Star Tours (11am – 12pm)

*Mommy and Little Miss* Disney Junior Show (11am – 11:15am)

Tower of Terror (12:05pm – 1:05pm)


- Park Day 3- Mother’s day (5/10)MK


Mine Train(5:50pm-6:50pm)

Anna & Elsa (8:00pm-9:00pm)—{May Change to Winnie the Pooh}

Wishes (9:35pm-9:55pm) {Plaza Gardens Viewing Area}


- Park Day 4 (5/11)AK


Kilimanjaro Safaris (10:10am-11:10am)

Mickey & Minnie (12:30pm-1:30pm)

Kali River Rapids (1:45pm-2:45pm)

Now to decide what to do with the extra. To Be honest, this wasn't a problem I was expecting to have. I just put it in the schedule for every MK day and figured that we would just work with the day we were able to land the FP. So now we have 4 options:


Option 1: We let her keep both FP+ times and she gets to see Anna and Elsa twice. This just seems a tad frivolous to me and while I am 98.9% sure she would enjoy it, I would feel a tad selfish doing this when others fight so hard to get just one and don’t succeed. That being said, it is a first come first serve system and this is just the nature of the beast. Also this would be helping to maximize our investment in the Memory Maker Package.


Option 2: We Keep both for now and have the second as a backup in case something goes wrong with that first meet and greet. I’m not sure that this is needed, however it would be spreading some last minute pixie dust for some lucky people closer to the day of.


Option 3: Cancel the Anna and Elsa on day 6 for something else. I think this option might be the one to be eliminated first. The only time I could get for Anna and Elsa on Mother’s day was one with a slight overlap with our ADR at The Plaza. If anything goes wrong to delay us we would end up very stressed to not miss Anna and Elsa. However she may be


Option 4: Cancel Anna and Elsa on day 3. This is the day I most expected to be able to score Anna and Elsa. However the time window we were able to grab is 20 minutes later then what I was shooting for originally. But considering that I was shooting for a 12pm window and was planning on a 12:15 arrival it shouldn't be too bad of a shift.


I guess this a good problem to have but I am at a total loss for which is best. Would I be terrible if I just went with option 1 and kept them both? Which option do you think I should go with?

Glad you like them. The Cheat Sheets from EasyWdW really helped as a starting off point. It was a bit tedious now but I know I'll be grateful for them when we get there.

So have your FP+s been secured?

I do now. And everything just seems so much closer with them booked!

It really wasn't all that bad. If you haven't done it I recommend taking a look over this tutorial as a quick refresher before you start. Don't forget you have to wait till midnight to do them.

Like my multitude of BoG reservations, this NOT a bad problem to have! I would advise option #1 or #2. Having both of them going into your vacation will take off some pressure. And, if after your first meet you decide it was perfect and you can't possibly want to keep the other, then you can throw some pixie dust on someone else!

I would probably go with option 2. I like the idea of going into the trip with both and seeing how your schudule works out. When you are sure you know how things will flow you can make someone very happy with the last min FP! That way you get the best time for you guys and you share the love. Yes. We will be at Pop from May 8th to May 16th! We have some fast passes for MK, but opted to switch parks a lot, so we don't have that many. Our daughter turns two a week after our trip, so we have a lot of breaks in the plans, but hopefully we will get to do everything we want. We will also be at BOG for lunch on Mother's Day at 10...something I just don't remember the exact time. I can't wait to place my food order!!

I hope you are feeling better. I agree with Tracy...keep both sets of Anna and Elsa. If, after the first meet, you don't find it necessary for the second one (and DD doesn't know about it), you can release them and someone will end up with major pixie dust.
