Taking Little Miss to Meet the Mouse! ~ A May 2015 PTR ~ Trip Report Link Posted!!

I can't help with the stroller as we always rented one at DW (that's before they became so darn expensive).

I LOVE the idea of a Disney themed birthday party.

I'm going to have some fun with it. I might get some eye rolls for it from some people but to quote a popular song... "Its my party, I'll do what I want to!" The tricky part is keeping it from getting kiddy.

For me, the stroller decision comes down to this - will you be using Disney buses? If you plan to use the buses to go to the parks, the easy fold one is a must. If not, I would go with the maneuverable one.

As for making it recognizable, I have tried several different options. The easiest one is Hobby Lobby (and I assume other craft stores) sell Disney bandanas for $1. I buy one or two and tie them to the handle. They come in useful for other things too. At night, I add glow bracelets. For a more sophisticated look, I have made stroller tags. We are indeed planning on using the Disney Transportation. And you just said basically what DH and I are leaning towards. As nice as the jogger is to push and maneuver it can be a real pain to fold.

Your movie nights look like lots of fun! We have been doing them with our daughter since she was 1 1/2 and I have some amazing memories from the them! We just did one over the weekend (you can check it out in my PTR link in siggie ) and DD who is now 3 1/2 loved it and asks everyday when we are going to do another one!

Cup holders are super important in Disney as is storage. However, the sunshade is kind of the biggest deal in my opinion. You want a place for her to get out of the sun and relax. The discounts are indeed very nice! And I am now VERY excited for a Royal Room!

The movie nights are fun and Its getting even better now that Little Miss is starting to ask for them as well.


That is a very good point for the Jogger. Though I think the Cup holders are a mute point now. I have found a (yet to be tested out) stroller organizer
that should do the trick for the old stand by. Who knew something like this could be such a hard decision?

Hi there! You could SO decorate your bands its stupid easy and if you paint it and don't like it you can start new with using nail polish remover. (I speak from experience with this. I did that first one twice!) As for the detail work... thats all decals from myfantasybands.com. If you can peel and stick you're good. I'm not even painting the others that come.

There is always lunch for BOG, but keep a look out I just saw a heads up from someone that Disney is about to do change things around with the FP for BOG. Something about the test being over?


We are definitely due to do another Movie night. I think our next one will be Princess and the Frog. I need to get kickin on those. I have a feeling that life is about to get rather crazy! My BFF just got engaged and will be getting married this summer!

I just LOVE POR! I am VERY excited to get a royal room! I will definitely be sharing pictures at the very least when I get back!

Etsy Dresses and Consignment Sale Finds!





So we are now close enough that the wardrobe posts are now starting! I have now started a section of my closet for the Disney stuff I find.

I ordered this dress off of Etsy and it looks stinking cute. Sorry for the blurry shot of Little Miss, she was so excited to be in it that she wouldn’t stand still for me to get a picture.


What’s nice about this one is that it’s going to pull double duty for my Birthday Party as well. (I can’t wait to show y’all what I’m planning for that!)

Found this Sophia dress (Disney Store Authentic too!) for $8. When I brought it home it had a few smudges of something on it (I think paint) but a little spot treatment and a nice hand wash and it’s now almost good as new!

Found this Anna and Elsa top for $2. They usually run about $10-$12.

As soon as I saw this outfit I knew she was going to wear it for our Animal Kingdom day. I mean how Stinkin Cute is this!!!! It was only $4

This shirt actually came from the parks! I haven’t decided which day this fits best for. We’ll have to wait to see what other gems I find at the other sales.

Last but not least, I found these blank shirts that were only $1-$3 each so they will make good practice shirts for possible methods of decorating the adult shirts.

Thank you! I have to say its one of my favorite things about having a little girl. Dressing them is so much fun! I always take the consignment sales on like a challenge to see what great deals I can find. Having a Disney Trip to shop for is taking it to a new level!

Cute stuff! Pillow case dresses are great because the can grow with your DD. You can even put shorts underneath them for a new outfit when she gets too tall for it to be a dress!

I am big on getting as much wear out of outfits as possible. It's partly why I chose the pillowcase dress over the other outfits I had considered. I can't wait to see what else I score at the other sales I go to!
