We are planning on a short, last minute trip to disney next month. I have read somewhere that some families buy Disney related gifts for their kids at home and then have the front desk deliver the bags to the room for the kids. I'd like to do the same for my boys (6.5yr and 21mo) and my cousins kids (5yr and 3yr). I thought it would be special for each child to get their own bag delivered to them specifically. My question is: What have you put in your kids bags???

    Thanks so much
    Mina

we have done this every trip for our kids, usually we get them autograph books, a disney pj set, a disney plush, and some of the dollar store disney stuff, along with some glow sticks. usually when we do it, one of us will take the kids to the pool and the other sets up the bags and than joins us at the pool. then we head back to the room and tell the kids that mickey must have dropped off a surprize for them

I have already been buying stuff for my kids for our Oct 13 trip. What we are doing is a "Mickey Fairy" who will come at night and leave presents for the kids at night. So far I have costumes that I bought at post-Halloween sales (Cinderella, Snow White, and Pirate for the boys), Disney notebooks with pens, t-shirts, and PJs.

i happen to be in The Childrens Place yesterday and found 2 mickey and 1 minnie shirts on sale. now i need to find a mickey one for my son (6yr old). i also am going to try to make a photo/autograph book for each child. i found the idea online and thought it was great because you can have the childs picture with the character on one side and the autograph on the other side.

    here is the link:

i'm going to try the disney factory store in a little bit for some more goodies.

We buy surprises before the trip and put them out on the table in the hotel room after the kids fall asleep on our first night. When the kids wake up in the morning they are so excited to see what Mickey brought for them while they were asleep.

The first trip I ordered mickey ears from the disney store website and had them personalized with their names on the back. Along with those I put out disney Pez dispensers, fruit snacks, Toy story cheez it crackers and glow sticks. Last time I did the disney themed snacks, some glow bracelets and a toy story dvd. For our April trip I've already bought a cinderella nightgown and phineas and ferb t-shirt at Target to surprise them with.

They get so excited over the surprises and they don't ask us to buy expensive stuff in the parks. It works out great.
