Saturday I stopped by a local bead shop that I really liked. It was small but had nice things and great prices and sales. It's been several months since I had gone by. Can you believe, it's out of business and I didn't even realize it! A bigger shop with bigger prices, and a bigger selection, came in and my small shop closed!

It just made me think of how great those small shops can be and I felt guilty that I hadn't been there in a while.

Just sharing my lament with the rest of the crafters.

Our local bead shop closed last year. It had been open probably since the early 1990's. Now i have to buy the unique beads online. Makes me sad i can just pop in there and get a little something when i need it. I now have to wait a week and i have to place a mininum $$ amount.
