I'll be back after while to reply to everybody's posts. Missy and Jen's pictures were so good and they show how pretty their country is in the Fall. I thought I'd post a few pictures I took three weekends ago to show you how un-Fall like we are here in North Louisiana. They are nowhere as good as the ones Jen and Missy took though.
We took down our above ground pool (getting a bigger one next year!). There's a big bare spot in our backyard now that's perfect for weiner roasts and for playing in the mud.

Because we live in a log house, we like to keep our fenceline rustic looking. I say that because it sounds good when I look at it and realize we need to pull the vines off of it.
Seriously though, there's an old pasture all the way around our house. No animals are kept there any more. It's all grown up and has full grown trees on it. So, the rustic look does goes with the house. We have birdhouses everywhere.
