I'm so confused by what I did before with my trip report, I'm going to start it over again. The first few posts will be the same, and then I'll do all my additions here! I hope you come to watch!

I had a great trip!!!! Stitch was troubled- to borrow Lilo's line! Stitch (DH) didn't have a blast like I thought he would. (We'll get to that later!)

Overall, we had great weather- beautiful sun, great temps, perfect. One day it rained- a great deluge in the morning and then on and off the afternoon and evening! Oh well- can't win 'em all!

A few introductions for those who haven't read my PTR:

    Cast:
Me (Lilo)- just turned 30. I love Disney- always have. Worked as a Disney Store CM for a while and almost worked at WDW! I'm a big kid when I get to WDW- all my cares melt away!

DH (Stitch)- 32 and usually a big kid. Found out during the trip that theme parks aren't his thing, so he went along for the ride. Not a huge Disney fan, but can tolerate it when requested! Loves cars and cartoons!

    Stage:
Stitch was trying to come up with something awesome for my 30th birthday. This was his idea: got to Disney World over Thanksgiving for my birthday! Even though I didn't technically celebrate my birthday there, it was a great present!

The chapters will be presented at the bottom, so you can follow along without the extra things if you like!

Ok- following in LL's style, I am going to make a teaser list:

Did we stick to the schedule?
Who had a meltdown in Morraco/France?
    Did I meet any DISers?
Did we go to every park?
    Which ADR did we skip?
    What were our favorite attractions?
    Who won Toy Story Mania?
    Who won Buzz?
What ride did we get stuck on?
Did we have a Dole Whip?
    What was our favorite ADR?
Did I get to meet the REAL Stitch?
What ride finally got Stitch to act like a child?
Why we didn't meet more characters?
Did I get all my souvies?
Will Stitch ever return to WDW?

    Chapters for the TR

Stitch and I slept in a little (to us- 7:30) is sleeping in. We got up and made some coffee and had a calm start to the morning with the last snuggle from our kitties. (Our kitties live outside, but a few come inside in the morning for a snuggle and some treats!)

Finally, we decided it was time to get the last of our things done. I had to order my photopass CD and pay a couple bills on the computer. I did those and then showered. After my shower, I packed frantically! I had so much left to do even though I'd done some packing the Saturday before! DH had to take me outside for a few minutes just to stop the packing panic!! It was a nice break, but I still had tons to do.

While DH did some last minute things to his truck, I ground 7 days worth of coffee to use at the resort and packed them into small snack size bags. I gathered the coffee cream, etc together. I bagged them all and tossed them in the suitcase.

We finally finished- so much for packing light!!! We were off to see Stitch's grandmother once before leaving and then to see mine (who was in town!). The plan was to go visit and then return home for our luggage since it was closer to the airport. We started off, but a few blocks away, we turned back for the luggage- decided it would be easier that way!

Ok, off to visit. We visited with Stitch's grandmother for a little bit, and then we drove to my parent's house to visit my grandmother. After that, we headed to the airport. It was finally time! :cloud9:

We got the airport with only a slight delay- google maps lead us a little astray! Once we got there, we go checked in and through security in about 30 minutes! Wow- that left us with nearly an hour and a half before our flight. We walked up and down near our terminal looking for starbucks!!! :coffee: We found one and sat down with our treasures! (On the way back to the terminal, I found an iPod vending machine. It had iPods, PSPs, iPhone accesories, etc! It was unbelievable!)

Stitch played with his phone while I worked on some Sodoku puzzles! At one point, Stitch tapped my shoulder and showed me what he looked up- Donald Duck cartoons!!!!!:faint: He would never do that on a regular day, so we watched a cartoon and Donald and his nephews playing in the snow. Then we watched an older Mickey Mouse cartoon and then 'Mickey through the Mirror' (one of my favorites!).

Finally, they started boarding the plane! I was so excited:yay: I stuffed everything in the bag and waited patiently for my group to be called. Stitch decided he needed to used the facilities before we boarded! We did, and by the time we got back to the terminal, they had called our group! We board and got situated! (Oh how nice first class looked!) We were squished like sardines! We waited to go, but we just sat there.

Finally, the pilot came over the intercom to say that there was a delay (no kidding, pal!) He said a passenger had noticed a clump of trash on the right wing and we weren't able to go until that was removed! (I did get a picture with my phone, but I haven't downloaded those yet! I'll add it when I can!) The pilot assured us someone was coming to remove it! So we waited. And waited! When the first guy came, his lift on his truck wasn't working, so they have to call guy #2. Eventually, they got on the wing and plucked the culprit off the wing. The whole cabin cheered; we could leave.

The flight was uneventful, and we reached Orlando only 30 minutes later than scheduled. Once we got off the plane, I wasn't exactly sure what to do. We followed people downstairs to baggage claim even though I know we didn't need to! I saw an ME lady downstairs, so I asked her where we check in.

"Are we picking up your baggage??"
    "Yes"
"Then you need to go to the other side and check in there!"

Ok, up some stairs, across the airport, and over to side B to check in! Woo-Hoo! :woohoo: I knew we were almost there.

The ME guy stamped our book and pointed us into the right line for Coronado Springs! I pratically ran to the que and lined up. We waited, but not long. We were ushered to a Disney Cruise bus. Yes, it was going to Disney World- not the cruise. Ok!

We jumped aboard and chose a seat! Ready to go!

This is a horrible picture of me, but it is the only one I have on the bus!

    The movie screen
    [IMG]

We rode the bus and watched the video. I was getting more excited with each second! Turned out Coronado Springs was the first stop!

How beautiful it was- it was already decorated for Christmas! (I took these pictures one morning, but it's still the same!!!)

After we checked in, we headed to the room. It was a very short walk to the Cabana Buildings. We were in Cabanas 9B in room 9529.

After we checked out the room, we headed over to the Main Building. Oh our way, I saw this light

As we walked into the Main Building, we saw these beauties!

I love stars, so these were right up my alley!!! Then we checked out the menus for the two restaurants and decided to try the Pepper Market.

    We went down this hall
    [IMG]

The server seated us as she explained how the Pepper Market worked. Stitch decided immediately what he wanted, so he set off to get it. I stayed with the stuff and shot some pictures.

Stitch returned, and I went to order my meal. Stitch got a cheeseburger and fries that he wasn't too impressed with. I got a Chicken Quesadilla. Sorry there is no food porn- I was too excited to remember. After dinner, we each got a dessert: Stitch got a German Chocolate Cake, and I got cookies and ice cream.

I decided not to use the dining plan because I had much better uses for it planned, so we stopped and paid our bill. $40.32!!! Not a good start with Stitch was had a little bit of sticker shock that lasted the rest of the trip! Ooops!

We walked around the main building and then headed back to our room. It was chilly outside and we left our sweatshirts in the room. When we returned to our room, our luggage still wasn't there. I thought it would be there by then! Stitch called the front desk, and they said the luggage was on its way; it left the airport at 11:06. We watched TV until 12:30, but the luggage never showed up. Stitch was livid! He didn't listen to me when I suggested he pack his PJs in my carry on. I had my jammies, so I changed and we both went to bed.

Coming up. . .does our luggage show up???

Where was I? Oh yeah, we went to bed with no luggage and were concerned about its where abouts.

I had set the wake up call for 6:30- I was determined to make it to MK for the RD! Stitch called about our luggage; they said it wasn't here yet :scared: but it would be here by 8! (What?!?!? I'd planned to be nearly to the bus stop by 8.) Stitch was livid. They explained that if the truck at the airport wasn't full at night, then they didn't have to leave the airport!! :scared1:

Well, what could we do? I decided to shower. I think Stitch pouted!!! I got out of the shower and still no luggage. Stitch had nothing else to wear but what he traveled in. He decided to go ahead and shower after we did our morning prayer and Bible reading. Just as we settled down to pray, there was a knock on the door.(7:45) There was our luggage sitting outside!!!!!!!! Stitch said, "We should have prayed earlier!" :rotfl2:

Ok, now, Stitch was in a better mood. We made some coffee, Stitch showered and got ready. I packed our park bag and got the money we needed and put the rest in the safe.

I convinced Stitch to not eat at the resort since we were running late. I told him there was a great bakery on Main Street and we would eat there. He, surprisingly, agreed. :faint:

We took a quick walk to the bus stop. Here is what we saw:

While waiting for the MK bus, I noticed some light fixtures:

Finally, the bus came, and we had to stand. Whatever- I didn't care- I was on my way to the Magic Kingdom!!!! We took the long walk around the front of the Kingdom only to see hundreds of people waiting at the gates! We arrived just in time to see the Welcome Show! We were too close, but I didn't care. Stitch wanted to get inside the gates, but I had found a spot to watch the show from and I wasn't budging! popcorn::

Once the Welcome Show was over, the lines to get in the gates were long. Stitch was already on my case "I told you to get in line, but you didn't listen!" Blah, blah, blah (by the way, this happened the whole trip! I was determined NOT to let it ruin my vacation at my happy place!!!) I just found a shorter line and got in it. We were quickly herded under the train tracks and into Town Square in what I called "Mad Cow Disease!"

We had to wait for a horse-drawn cart to pass, and then we continued our walk up Main Street on our way to Tomorrowland. Finally, I saw my beloved castle!!!

The Christmas decorations were beautiful! I was so excited!! I started shooting random shoots of Main Street because I wanted to remember every moment of this vacation and with a digital camera, you can!

We finally made it past Main Street where I could a semi-decent picture of the castle.
Don't you love the trash can right in the middle?? :rotfl2:

On to Tomorrowland and Space Mountain!

Well, the wait for Space Mountain said 30 minutes, but the line exteneded out the door, past the FP machines and almost under the TTA tracks! We decided to FP it, but those lines were awful, too! Stitch was still upset- the crowds aren't his thing! We finally got our FP for SM to come back around 10:30.

Stitch was begging to go eat, but I saw Carousel of Progress. I HAD to ride it since it was one of the first rides made for WDW. The was only about six people in line. We jumped in just as they opened the doors! It was cute! I don't remember seeing it (but my mom seems to think we rode it ages ago!)

Afterwards, I was ready to keep going, but Stitch is groaning, "Can we go eat now!" Yes, of course. Maybe if I get Stitch fed, he'll stop grousing and have a good time.

We headed back to Main Street. We saw a Photopass photographer on the bridge from Tomorrowland. We stopped and got some good pics. (I dont' have my CD yet. I'll post them when I can!)

On to Main Street and the Main Street Bakery. All the while, I hear from Stitch, "Where are we going?" "Do you know where you are going?" "Where is it?" Well, I was pretty sure I knew where it was, but I just told Stitch I knew where it was.

We arrived to find a long line. I settled in- isn't Disney World all about waiting in lines??

    Lights at MSB!

    Cute Display!

We decided on 2 Breakfast Sandwiches and a ginormous Cinnamon Roll! When we got to the register, we explained to the guy that we had the dinning plan, but we didn't know how it worked. He explained that each sandwich was an entry and then we each got a dessert. The cinnamon roll counted as one- what other did we want? We decided on a crum cake. He rang us up. Stitch went to get a table while I went back to get my crumb cake!

Once we sat down, Stitch asked if I wanted a picture. :rotfl2: Of course!

The sandwiches and cinnamon roll were yummy. We were stuffed, so we saved the crumb cake until later by putting into the camera bag.

By the time we finished breakfast, it was time to return to SM for our FP!! We headed back to Tomorrowland. We were early, so we stopped to shop and look around.

We sat by SM because the guy wouldn't let us on at 10:30- we had to wait until our exactl FP time of 10:35. Once it was 10:35, we walked right on in. We by-passed the whole line and ended up on the right hand side of the ride. (this will come into play much later!). We were waiting, and the CMs came around asking for a party of 2. They let us right on the ride! Sweet!!! I thought only single riders got special treatment!

I lvoed the ride. Stitch said "It was OK." (This became his normal reply to every ride!)

In my last update, we had just gotten off Space Mountain, and DH thought it was OK. :lmao:

We head through Tomorrowland towards Fantasyland.

    Cool futuristic trees!

    Castle from Fantasyland
    [IMG]

I wanted Stitch to ride It's a Small World- every first timmer HAS to ride it! Well, the wait was 35 minutes or something crazy like that! I decided against it for the moment. We checked out Mickey's PhilharMagic, and it said the wait was 10 mintues! Alright! It was one of my must-sees, so we had to get on.

As we waited in line prior to entering the waiting area, I was shootings lots of pictures- pictures of the posters, the neat artwork on the wall (heh, I'm a musician!!). The guy behind me look at Stitch and said (indicating me) "First time at Disney World or what??" I was really hurt. I wasn't keeping the line from moving as I shot pictures, I was just shooting as many as I could while we wound through the line. I looked back and said, "No, first time at Disney World with a digital camera." Oh course, Stitch had to tell the man that I shoot pictures of everything. I was so embarassed. So what if I was shooting pictures. My flash wasn't on and I was distrubing anyone. ARGH! It still upsets me over three weeks later!!!!

    Oh, vent over!

We went into the waiting area after grabbing our nifty 3-D glasses! :3dglasses
    [IMG]

I noticed this light fixture. Sorry it is dark- I wasn't using a flash in order to get the effect of the lights (and so Mr. So-Not-A-Photographer wouldn't say anything!)

We were ushered into the theatre. I knew there was at least one hidden mickey on the stage, so I had to photograph it! (I'm a horn player, and I was thrilled to see a hidden mickey in my instrument- even if they did have to make it wrong in order for Mickey to work!)

Mickey's PhilharMagic was so cool! I loved every second of it! I would have ridden it again and again, but we didn't. Stitch was complaining that he needed water, so we went up to a snack cart in Fantasyland. While we were waiting, I shot a couple pictures of the architecture because I'd heard in LL's trip report that they pay careful attention to how it changes between lands. I just wanted some of the neatness of Fantasyland.

We walked through Fantasyland to Liberty Square. We saw the line for HM was coming out of the que, but it wasn't winding around, so we jumped in. Stitch wasn't happy about the length of the line, but I knew we had to ride this one, too!

The front door of the mansion had a wreath on it for the holidays, but it looked like it had been there for a while! (Man, I love imagineering!) I tried multiple times to hold my camera up and take the shot. This is the best I got:

Here is a light I saw right before we got to the graveyard right out front.

I enjoyed the ride, and the updates didn't take away from the ride at all. It was fantastic! Just a classic Disney ride! Stitch again, said it was OK. :sad2: Oh well. (He does get onboard MUCH later!)

We headed through Liberty Square to Adventureland.

Ok, it has been a while, I know. However, I'm back and ready to go!

Hmm. . .where did I leave off. . .Oh yes, we got off of Space Mountain and Stich said it was ok! When I left you, we were in line for the Haunted Mansion.

After we got off the Haunted Mansion, Stitch said it was OK! :lmao: Oh!! We headed to Adventureland! Of course, we had to stop for water again (good ole Stitch!)

Then, we decided to ride the Pirates of the Caribbean. Stitch didn't realize until right before we left for WDW that the movie was based on a ride! Poor guy!!!
I found lots of great light fixtures just in the Pirates ride itself!

and a Deadly game! (who doesn't have this photo, right?!)

I didn't think the addition of Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow detracted too much from the ride. Most of it was still the same as I remembered! Phew! Nice going Imagineers!

Once off the ride (which again was ok from Stitch), we went into the souvier shop. I heard that there was a gold pirate medalion (like the one in the movie) on a red vase. I was on a mission! I found it about half way through on the right!

After Pirates, Stitch was tired and wanted to go back to the room to rest. Well, I decided to give him that time to rest, so he wouldn't get cranky!! We headed towards Main Street. As we were walking, I just happened to see the sign for Aloha Isle, and I knew that was the place to get a Dole Whip. Well, I begged Stitch to stop. He found a place to sit while I stood in the short line to get my Dole Whip. (I'd never had one!!!! I couldn't wait!)

I wasn't sure I ordered the right thing. I think I ordered Dole Pinapple soft serve in Pinapple juice. It was called a Dole Whip, but I wasn't sure it was THE Dole Whip! Of course, before we could try it, I had to shoot a picture of it. They put the clear cup inside a paper one!

Oh, is my mouth ever watering right now! How I wish I could get one! Yumm! It was delicious. Stitch didn't appreciate it because he was tired. He had some, but it didn't seem to surpass the OK test. Oh well. I adored it! After that, I was ready to go on and conquer the rest of the Magic Kingdom, but I had promised Stitch some down time. We headed for Main Street.

We did make a few stops at the stores (I was on the mission for a few items!) We stopped at the Uptown Jewelers to find a flat sliver Mickey Head charm. They only had gold! :confused3 Oh well. However, I did see this cute guy

I thought he was cute, but I didn't have the money or a place to put him. I figured shooting pictures of all the things I wanted but couldn't afford would score me a couple points with Stitch who was pretty grumbly by this point!

I really was on a mission to find the Chapeau! I wanted to make my own ears! We made it!

I looked around at the ears and prices. I felt silly spending $20 or so on a silly hat I probably wouldn't wear. I chickened out. . . for now.

We went back to CSR and took a nap. Well. . .Stitch took a nap, and I recorded all we did! I was too excited to sleep. I was at Disney World!!!!!!!!

I had so much fun posting the last post, I had to do another!

Once back at CSR, we rested, but first, we had to get water for Stitch, of course. I shot some more pictures of CSR during the day.

While Stitch slept, I figured out what time we needed to leave the resort in order to get to our ADR at Liberty Tree in time. I woke Stitch from his nap by accident. "I thought you wanted to sleep?" he asked. I told him I was too excited. He actually got up and started getting ready to go! Love him!

We got what we needed and headed to the bus stop. We waited for the MK bus (which always seemed to take forever!) We finally got one, and headed back to MK. Without being in a big rush, I was able to see more on our way in.

Stitch was starving (even though we had dinner reservations), so I suggested Casey's. We stopped. While Stitch ordered, I took some pictures.

Stitch ordered Corn Dog Nuggets. Well, to say the least, I wasn't thrilled with his choice. I'm not a big corn dog fan. He asked me to try them- they were delicious!! They didn't taste like nappy corn dogs at all- they were splendid! It was a favorite of the whole trip! :rotfl2:

Anyway, with the time we had, we stopped for some castle pictures! It is, after all, MY castle!!!!

After the castle, we walked to z Frontierland to get Fast Passes for Big Thunder Mountain!!! The FP time was much later after our dinner, so I knew we were fine. As we were walking out of Frontierland, we saw this little band. They were walking down the street playing music and singing. I'm a musician, so I stopped to watch for a bit. They saw my Birthday pin I had been wearing, and they called out to me.

"Happy Birthday, Kristin!" They started singing. I stood there LOVING every minute of it! Afterwards, I thanked them and asked them to get a picture. They said "You want a picture with us?? You are the first girl who wants to take a picture with us!!!!" They were so funny!

After that, Stitch pulled me away and suggested I not wear my birthday button after that day. He said I got so much attention, and it wasn't fair because my birthday had already passed. I rolled my eyes, but didn't say anything. I think he was jealous of all the attention I got!!! Oh well.

We stopped at Liberty Tree to see if we could eat early, but they were packed. We had to come back closer to our time. Fair enough. We shopped at the Christmas shop near by.

Beautiful stuff, but the place was full. I found a CD set I wanted, so I stood in line. The man who rang me out was deaf. I struggled to remember the signs for Merry Christmas and Thank you. I remembered them and was very excited I got to use them! He was very nice!

In Part 6, I'll show you my Castle Photography Study and pictures from LTT!!

After shopping at the Christmas shop, I decided I wanted to go back to Fantasyland just to get some pictures before it got dark! (That is one thing about going in the winter- the photography window with natural light is somewhat limited!) As we walked towards the castle (which was ropped off for a show), we saw these time images- one of the castle and one of the Sir Mickey's shop.

I love how Sir Mickey's goes from having a castle look, to having a more village look. It is a prime example of how Disney Imagineers are so careful with their designs!!!

I wanted to shoot lots of pictures of the castle- not just the front, but every part of the building. Here we go

Near by, I saw the Cinderella Fountain, and I had to take the challenge of shooting the crown on her head!

She was infront of a cute little princess store that had all kinds of costumes and accesories. We looked, but there was nothing I needed there. Over the door, though, was the cute reference to Cinderella's first ball gown!

We did a little more shopping and then walked around the castle towards Main street and saw part of a show going on. We didn't stay too long as we had to get back to Liberty Tree for dinner. I was very excited about this one, and I knew Stitch would like it!! We headed back towards Liberty Square.

I love your report so far!! All your pictures of the castle are amazing...I'm glad I'm not the only one that is interested in all the (little) details. And that is just nuts about the man commenting on your picture taking...some people just don't understand :confused3

yeah, I guess they don't. Like I said, it wasn't like I was interrupting anyone's experience- my flash wasn't even on. OH well.

Thanks for reading my report. I'm in a terrible "I miss Disney slump," so I will be working on my TR for a while. I hope you stick around!

We got to Liberty Square and Liberty Tree Tavern with plenty of time. I HAD to shoot pictures of the restaurant.

This is the REAL Liberty Tree with 13 lanterns to represent the original 13 colonies! I thought it was really pretty (and even better after dark!)

Here is Stitch waiting inside LTT for them to call us for our table
    [IMG]

Here is an attempt to photograph the beautiful light fixtures in the restaurant, but it was too dark to get a nice photo. (Sorry LL!)

They finally called us and we walked up the stairs from the lobby into the dining area. They sat us at a small table for two by a pillar. It wasn't a bad table- just a little small. They had decorated the table for my birthday!

Just as we were seated and settled, Minnie came to visit! I think Stitch was a little uneasy around the characters. He did ok, though.

I decided to forgo getting autographs- pictures were enough for me! Minnie was so cute dressed in her colonial wear. It is too bad they are taking that character breakfast away! It was fun! (I've been there twice and loved it both times!)

Our server was so nice. I don't remember his name (though I tried!) He was just so sweet and nice about everything! We really liked him. Plus, he really looked the colonial part as well!

As we waited for our food, I anxiously looked around for the characters and a DISer I was supposed to meet. (I didn't know what the DISer looked like, but I knew she was supposed to be there with her family! I never found her this day!)

Our salads arrived and then, shortly after, so did Goofy!!!

As Stitch and I watched Goofy, we decided the person playing him must have been really, really tall- his feet were very large! He was a great Goofy- his body movements were excellent! I loved Goofy!!

We ate a little- sorry, forgot the food porn of the salads. Suddenly, Pluto snuck up and put his finger in Stitch's ear. It was so cute!!! He was adorable, too! I scratched behind his ear to see what he'd do, and he tapped his foot really fast. It was adorable! He wished me a Happy Birthday because of my pin and I kissed him on the muzzle! He acted all shy! I loved my interaction with Pluto!

I shot a couple more light pictures while we were waiting on the main course!

The main course arrived. If you have never eaten at LTT, you are missing out! It is all home-cooked style food. They bring out as much as you want. They bring it out a little at a time, but if you want more of anything, they are happy to oblige! Yum!! We LOVE this restuarant! So worth the money (which, of course was on the meal plan! I don't have my receipt with me, but when I do, I'll post the price we didn't have to pay!)

    Here is the food!

As we ate, more characters circulated around:
    Dale
    [IMG]

    Then Chip!

Dinner was incredible! We had dessert, but again, I forgot to shoot a picture of it! We were so stuffed when we left. We were so glad we had some time before our FP for Big Thunder Mountain! We walked around and did a little shopping in Liberty Square.

Earlier that day, Stitch had seen a pin he wanted :faint: earlier that day in Adventureland. He had been talking about it the whole rest of the afternoon. "I should have bought that pin." Over and over. We finally decided to go back to Adventureland and get the pin. It was right over the bridge from the hub, so it was super easy to get to from Liberty Square. I was in the lead (as I was most of the trip) and we found the little kiosk! Stitch got his pin. (I'll show it later!)

There wasn't much we could ride because the wait times were long and our FP time was approaching. We stopped by the castle that was lit up for the evening. I had to shoot a picture. Then, we headed to Tomorrowland to see if there was anything we could ride. We did a little more shopping. I saw this great hat at Mickey's Star Traders, and I made Stitch try it on- he wasn't happy about it, but the picture is classic!!!!!!
He was an excellent sport with hats as you will see later!!

Our time was approaching for our FP, so we headed back across the park to Frontierland. We took the little over the water path in Liberty Sqaure/Frontierland that got us straight to BTMRR. I saw these little beauties. They started off round in Liberty Square and then turned rectangular at the Frontierland boarder. I had a shoot a picture- I love Disney details!

We arrived at BTMRR a little early, so we waited until our time. The line was still pretty long for a FP line, but it was worth it! Stitch liked this ride- it didn't make him act like a kid, but he liked it. He was very impressed with Disney's attention to rider comfort. He said he expected the rides to be like Six Flags- somewhat painful to ride, but he was pleasantly surprised when we got off BTMRR! Finally, a winner!:thumbsup2

    More later!!

I'm confused. I thought LTT was not doing character meals any more, but you were there in February and have pictures of the characters. Marlyne

During the ride on the BTMRR, I noticed the castle had its Christmas lights on! Well, naturally, I had to go back and drool over it! We went back and I shot tons of pictures! I love the details on the castle, and I'm always trying to get strange angle shots!! Here are a few:

A View of Main Street from the Castle:

We walked through the castle- FINALLY! I'd been trying all day, but it was always closed for a show or something. We headed through the castle as I studied each mosaic closely (as an artist!!) We made it through the sea of people waiting in line for the Bibbiti-Bobbiti Boutique out the back of the castle. We went into Sir Mickey's where I saw (and bought) this wonderful pink and silver shirt!

After spending some time at Sir Mickey's, we made our purchases and headed out. Snow White's Scarey Adventure was right next door with a short (for Disney) line, so we hopped in line. It isn't much of a ride for two 30-somethings, but it was still fun.

As we walked around Fantasyland, we saw this great cage. I begged Stitch to get inside. Too bad his face is blurry. (That's what happens when you don't use a flash!)

We were close to Ariel's Grotto. I saw some CMs standing outside it, and I asked if Ariel was still there. They said yes! I was like a child! I drug Stitch into her play area. We got in line, and I think I was the biggest kid there. The closer we got to Ariel, the younger I became! I was so excited! I'd never met Ariel before! Finally, it was my turn. I was a star-struck child! She asked if Stitch was with me, and I said he was my husband. She asked if he washed up on a beach, too. I said Yes! She continued to talk! It was awesome! Then, we posed for our pictures.

The last two pictures are from the Photopass CD! Can you see how childlike I was??? I loved it!

More photopass pictures from Day 1 coming up!
