Still possible to rent points for BCV for 4/26 or 5/10?

I'm new to renting points and based on some of the posts it looks like folks usually book FAR in advance for BCV. I'm thinking of a 4 night stay in a Studio from 4/26 thru 4/30 (85 points) or 5/10 thru 5/14 (68 points).

Does anyone have a feel about whether a ressie could still be made at this time?

And, will I likely find someone who would have the points I need?

I'd take this one to the rent/trade board at the link above. I think a reservation wil be hard to come by in that short a timeframe.

As you have surmised, it pretty much comes down to availability. If you post on the Rent/Trade Forum, someone will probably be willing to check for you. Since it is very close to the arrival date, you'll very likely be asked to pay the entire cost of the rental immediately.
