We're staying at BC the last week of April and plan to arrive mid afternoon at HS (on a Monday). It's our 4th trip, so we're not going to jam everything in. We have a couple of FPs (toy story and star tours) and have an early dinner reservation at HBD. The main goal of the evening to is to catch the Symphony in the Stars fireworks at 9:15. What's the scene like there at the end of the day? Do we have to stake out a spot like we do for Wishes? Any advice on what time to arrive and where to stand for the best view? I'd love to be relatively close to the exit since catching a boat back to BC will likely involve a long wait, but I also want to make sure we hear the music well. TIA!

Curious about this too. Our day the fireworks are at 9:45, but I'm not sure where to go for a good view and to hear the music.

Also curious about this, especially since Fantasmic is at 8:30 and these fireworks are at 9:15...time to see both?

We went recently. Fantasmic was at 8:30 and the Fireworks were at 9:15 (loved them!!!!). Fantasmic let out at 9 and led us straight down to the entrance area. As long as you can look and see the top of the Chinese Theater you have a great view (and it is great to be near the entrance/exit for a quick exit afterward). Music was plenty loud. It was perfect and we had plenty of time.

I watched the fireworks from just outside the archway leading down to SW Launch Bay (next to the popcorn cart). It was a good spot. I even was able to sit down with my back against the railing.
Also, if the boat line is too long, the walk back to BC is a very peaceful walk. About 20 minutes at a leisurely pace. (It only took 12 minutes from BWV last year).
