Stan Lee is a genius. Of course, he hasn't really created anything in years

Stan Lee is a minor god. I love his work! I think having outside talent creating a new generation of heros is a good thing! we havent had a good villian since Scar. The last generation of heroes/princesses was the 90s. I think we need a new bunch, with good villains and an action story line.

dont get me wrong, i like cars and finding nemo, but i understand the whole
"finding yourself" theme, and i am ready for some good old sword fighting (or laser blasting)!

If they are planning to buy the rights to all of Stan Lee's characters I would think with the success of Spiderman and X men movies Disney had better start saving their pennies now, they won't come cheap.

Oh, Stan Lee is nuts, but most people called Disney nuts for trying to build an empire out of a cartoon! In fact, they said that Snow White would never work, because no one wanted to see a full-length cartoon movie.

genius and madness are very close!

That would be pretty impressive, since Stan Lee doesn't own the rights to any of his characters, Marvel does. All he owns is "So you wanna be a Superhero."

Who cares if Disney can't buy those characters? The last thing Disney needs is to buy already established characters. With a mind like Stan Lee on board, Disney has another one to tap for original creations. I say it is about time they got back to this.

Not sure about that one, but everyone knows he had that part in "The Simpsons." Now that was some funny stuff. :happytv: If he is anything like he portrayed himself in that episode, no wonder people think he might be a little nuts!

    Motion Stimulator as it were.

A Pamela Anderson Dark Ride may be just what the world's been waiting for, but what technology for "The bounce?" And how do they simulate Hep C on an Animatronic?

Yup! And oddly enough, even though I'm A) a girl, and B) not a comic book fan, I totally recognized him...don't know how, but I recognized him.

I think bringing in any new creative minds is, of course, a good thing. I believe I've read some things, though, giving the impression Lee can be a bit overprotective and cantankerous (See, Mom, the English degree's good for something!). Don't know how that's going to work out in the end...

    Certainly an interesting development.

i like Stan the Mans Marvel creations as much as the next guy. Problem is, what has he done in the last 30 years? He is definitely not the guy Disney should be hitching up with
