I am wondering if its possible to have the DxDP for the first few days of our trip and the DDP plan for the remainder without having to have 2 separate pkg reservations? :confused3 We are hoping for at least free QDP in November and then planning to upgrade.
    Thanks!

No, you'd need two separate packages to do that.

As Faldred said, can't be done unless you book two separate reservations. You must use the same dining plan for the full length of a single reservation.

Splitting the stay is easy for annual passholders or DVC members as they do not need to buy tickets to get the dining plan. But for those who must book a package reservation, they are then in the situation of having to purchase park tickets twice.
