Aww! Thanks, Pat, and the same to you!
Oooooo... Love the new ticker Kathy!!
I am loving your adventures of the Sip or Snack game.
Sorry to hear you were not feeling good Kathy but sounds like you bounced back quickly!!
Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day.
Oooohh Do share dates I will be there Sept 27 or so until Oct 3rd. Pending vacation approval June 1st
Thanks, me too! This mini-visit was touch-and-go for a while; then I found a fabulous deal on airfare!
Thanks, Doreen! And the same to you!
Fantastic... we must meet if possible!
white rice was a good choice all things considered but what a bummer you didn't feel well. Fun game, loved all the pictures of everyone's sips and snacks.
Thanks, Cynthia! Don't worry; I felt better quickly... there's lots more Sip 'n Snack fun to come!
(We Moms have been exquisitely busy as of late!)
Thanks for your patience, everyone!
The post detailing the next stop on our Sip 'n Snack tour of World Showcase should be forthcoming.
Until then how about a nosh... just a bit of something to tide you over?
Mmmmmm..... I'm so mad that we didn't make it there in March! It's on the top of my must-do list for November. I've been dreaming of that piece of caramel that melted in my mouth in January!
Hi Everyone! Here is the link to my newest "Faces in the Queue" interview if you would care to read it!
Faces in the Queue: Meet Kellie!
I don't think the DIS likes your link Kathy... It's not working.
Thanks, Amy, try it now!!
For my sip n' snack assignment I got Germany and berries. I was hoping for something a bit more adventurous but by getting Germany I knew I could go to my newest favorite shop at Disney!
Here is my chocolate and caramel covered strawberry from the Karamell-Kuche (Caramel Kitchen). I *think* it was $3.95.
I can't say that I would get one again, it just didn't wow me. Too bad the caramel popcorn didn't have berries in it!! Now there's a snack idea
YAY I got it!!!
WooT! Another for me!
Heidi, did it come wiht DARK choco?? I wouldn't even bother if it was milk. Just me.
I loved our stop at Karamell-Kuche!
Im usually a chocolcate fudge kind of girl but decided to try a piece of caramel. And Im so glad I did!! It was fantastic! Sorry I didn't take a picture!
After Germany we moved on with a stop in Italy. I wanted a cocktail but wasnt sure what to get
I wanted sparkly & fruity so Heidi suggested a Bellini. It was good!!
It was now time for our Kim Possible Mission!! We stopped at the kiosk and I think our choices were China (which we were already past), Japan & maybe Germany (which we were also past). The gang chose Japan
which happened to be our next stop and my Sip & Snack country. So off we went!
Ill let someone else share the KP mission because I didnt participate. Id done this mission before so I went on a hunt for something sour. I headed straight to the candy section! The labels were hard to read but ultimately, with some help, I ended up with these little candies:
Julie also had a mission in Japan, but well save that for later in the report.
Wow! Those chocolate strawberries look so good. I was eyeing them up a few weeks ago. Sorry to hear that were not "all that".
Happy Belated Moms Day to the Spectrum Moms!
Ohhh - Amy - I just looked back and saw your bellini. Looks delish. And the candy looks pretty good too.
Caramel Pictures? You've got it, Amy!!
Someone bought a piece of Chocolate Caramel Fudge and it looked sooo goooood, I went back inside and got a piece for myself! Mmmmmmm!
This goodie is definitely on my goodies-to-have list for our next trip!!
Mmmmmm, my mouth is watering just looking at those pics Kathy! I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE caramel and chocolate. I had a piece of the chocolate caramel fudge, I was planning to eat only half and save the other half until later. Well.......that didn't happen. It was SO yummy I ate the whole thing. I can't wait to go there again in June, it's going to cost me an arm and a leg though with the kids.
