Does Disney or DVC offer any special viewing areas for the night parades or fireworks in any of the theme parks that you can request or make a reservation for?

Sometimes I see guest line up inside Epcot for the Illuminations fireworks celebrating in a rope off area by the water for the viewing of the fireworks at night by cast members.

Inside the parks? Not for free they don't. Those roped-off people you see are generally dessert parties or some other special event, for which someone has paid dearly. Now, for the time being, there will be the special fireworks viewing lounge at BLT, available to the people staying there BUT that could become unavailable to the members at any time.

They do have roped off areas for people in wheelchairs, at least they did on NYE.

I did a tour at Epcot a few years ago and we were given tickets that allowed us to come in to one of the roped off viewing areas that night. It wasn't an advertised benefit of the tour and I do not know if that is still done.

There used to be a Grand Gatherings fireworks/dessert party in the viewing area between UK and France - I would guess they still offer it.

The GG International Dinner firework viewing was to the right of Mexico as you face the water, close to the main path that leads from Future World to the World Showcase.

I was so incredibly lucky to have my surprise 40th Bday party (sweetly executed by hubby) at WDW last July, and it included cake/coffee after our meal at one of those little private balconies along the lake between UK and France. It was FANTASTIC, and to this day I still don't know how much it cost. Everyone at party loved it. The only downside is that Illuminations will never look so great again from the usual spots! It will always be one of my best life memories forever. :cloud9:
