Was on the 8/3/15 to 8/10/15 cruise. It was awesome, nothing but sunny days. It rained maybe a few hours combined on 2 sea days. On Tracy Arm day, I was wearing a t-shirt and was at the front of the ship. It was magical. I will share some photos right now and will add more later on. It is very important for you to bring a nice camera with a good flash for indoor shots. Too bad it won't let me upload full size photos as the forum only limits to 1MB size for uploads. I will try to upload all my photos and link to the original files later on.

Here are some for you to enjoy::

All I can say is wow! Can't wait to do an Alaskan cruise some day when the kiddos are older...

Wow amazing what a difference a few weeks makes. We were there a few weeks prior and Tracy Arm had so much more ice, just compared our pictures.

Ah-mazing! Thanks for sharing!
I have never been interested in Alaska but this is so beautiful - you may have changed my mind :)

Did you go on a whale watching shore excursion, or were the whale pics taken from the ship?

We did Harv and Marv, 9 of us and got the private boat named Alaskan. We were surrounded by 3 sets of whales, all playing and flapping around us. It was amazing. Even the captain and the boat guide said they have never seen the whale come this close before.

I have chills! I absolutely do not know how I am going to wait until next August.

That's a long wait. We booked ours this January and the wait was unbearable.

Don't let the kids ages keep you from doing it! We were on the same cruise and my almost 2 year old had an absolute blast! She loved dancing with the characters and meeting them. She may have had a better time than the 9 year old! My nephews are 5 and 8 and had a great time in Alaska as well!

We booked in March and it's already been unbearable. Thankfully we have a cruise in October (Caribbean) to look forward to, so it's something. But I'll confess, we're all sort of ho hum about the Caribbean cruise at this point since booking Alaska. I'm sure we'll still have an amazing time. :)
